TOM RECHTIN HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

It went very well overall. They explain everything that they are doing and all the services that they are going to perform. If you have any questions, they’ll answer them and there are no problems. We’ve used them before.

We use Tom Rechtin each year for cleaning of our system. Last year they told us we were low in Freon, so they put more in our unit. This year for our cleaning, we were low again, so they added more and provided us with a quote for different units since we have a leak. The repairman didn't try to push us into ordering a new unit right away, but understood how we wanted to think about it and handle it on our timetable.

They removed the old air conditioning and heating system and replaced it with a newer, more energy efficient one. They also replaced the thermostat on the wall with a programmable thermostat. They replaced both the inside and outside heating and air conditioning units. They seemed very knowledgeable and they did a very good job. We have been very pleased with it. They knew that we were interested in reducing energy and the system does have an air cleaner with it and it has been working great. We even have a maintenance agreement with the company and they come out and check each season and make sure that everything works. One thing that impresses me is that they call and remind us that it is time for a maintenance check up. We would recommend the company.

A friend of mine recommended them and I would recommend them as well. They did everything in an orderly fashion. There were some questions afterwards but they came and cleared up those questions without any further charge. He insisted on helping me with my doorbell even though it had nothing to do with my furnace like I thought it might. My system is efficient so I got a large rebate. I have seen noticeable savings in that area.

Overall, the experience was excellent. This is a company I've used in the past, and the technicians are responsive, always on time and always very helpful. Their prices are reasonable. They have an after-hours emergency system. For example, I came home at 11pm one night and my heat wasn't working. I called their emergency number and within ten minutes, I had an employee call me back to assist. I'm happy with their services and I would recommend them to others.

The price was pretty good, but we actually went with someone who was a little less. We narrowed it down to another company, but it wasn't because of anything negative on their part. The man who came out and gave us the bid was very courteous and thorough. We didn't not go with them because of anything they did, we just chose another company.

They were very professional. They seemed honest.

Excellent service. Very timely, clean installation. Exceptionally honest in appraisal for what we need and more importantly what we did not need. Other companies gave incorrect answers regarding what is covered by federal tax credits. Very happy with experience.

Called Rechtin for a 2nd opinion when my A/C went out and the company I had a maintenance contract with recommended a $1600 repair or replacement of entire A/C unit...which is only 10 years old. Marcus from Rechtin office got someone out to my house quickly, and Mike from Rechtin recommended a much less expensive, step-by-step process that enables me to keep using my current A/C unit, and replace the pieces of it (evaporator coil, then outside unit) as they fail - so much more practical. He also found/fixed a vent which had become detached in attic. House is more comfortable than it has been in years, and I have switched my maintenance contract to Rechtin. They even worked with me to give me the discounted prices on the service when I signed up for their maintenance contract the next day.

We were very pleased! They came very quickly (Thanksgiving week, no less) and the repair man was extremely well-groomed and friendly. He did a great job and was out the door in about an hour or so. We ended up purchasing their maintenance plan and will have them back out in the spring to check the a/c unit. We will definitely use them again and would recommend them!

Things went very well. Company submitted the most detailed bid. We felt that their proposal was the "best value." Installation was during a mild spell in September 2008. It was a major job, and it took two men most of three days. They worked in the house while we were at work. Very courteous, professional, and clean. Some minor questions during installation which were resolved by phone. Final installation looked great...much neater than the system we inherited when we bought the house(which company did not install). Company had serviced our HVAC in previous house since 1999. Employees are honest, courteous and professional. The one instance where there was an issue was resolved very quickly, and to our satisfaction. They were the first company we turned to when we started soliciting bids for a new unit.

Chip came to my house and showed me the features on some new furnaces and air conditioners. He was very professional and courteous. I decided to go with new units from Tom Rechtin Heating. Harold and Dave were the installers and did the work very efficiently. Harold and Dave cleaned up after themselves and overall did an excellent job.

They did excellent service and work.

They were on time, did quality work, and cleaned up well. If you had any questions, they would answer them. Chip was very informative about the whole process.

We've been using them for about 10 years. They give us reduced rates for any service calls.

THEY GOT THERE BEFORE THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT. THEY WERE IN, AND THEY WERE OUT. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, AND THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY MADE MY TENANTS FEEL COMFORTABLE.

A SERVICEMAN WAS SENT OUT THE NEXT MORNING AND HAD THE SYSTEM UP AND RUNNING QUICKLY. HE ALSO OFFERED US A CONTRACT SO THE COMPANY WOULD CALL WHEN THE NEXT SERVICING IS NEEDED SO WE WOULDN'T HAVE TO REMEMBER TO CALL.

I CALLED RECHTIN HEATING TO HAVE SOMEONE COME OUT AND GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE ON HAVING A NEW FURNACE INSTALLED. SOMEONE CALLED ME AND SAID THAT HE WOULD CHECK HIS SCHEDULE AND GET BACK WITH ME TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. HE NEVER CALLED BACK.

ALWAYS DEPENDABLE AND VERY SATISFACTORY WORK AND SERVICE ALL AROUND. I HAVE USED THEM OVER AND OVER DUE TO THEIR CONSISTENT WORK. CLEAN AND COURTEOUS WORKERS.

FURNACE WENT OUT ON NIGHT OF DEC. 25. TOM RECHTIN RESPONDED ON THE 26TH (SUNDAY, DAY AFTER XMAS) AND FIXED THE PROBLEM IN VERY LITTLE TIME. EXCELLENT COMPANY; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

HAROLD WAS THE FELLOW IN CHARGE OF THE ACTUAL WORK. HE WAS HERE LIKE CLOCKWORK IN TERMS OF SHOWING UP ON TIME, LUNCH BREAK, AND LEAVING IN THE AFTERNOON. CHIP JANSEN IS THE SALESMAN I WORKED WITH. HE RESPONDED QUICKLY TO MY CALLS AND REQUESTS. I WAS GIVEN MANY NAMES AND ADDRESSES FOR REFERENCES.

VERY PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL, AND THE COST WAS REASONABLE. I WOULD CALL THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

IT WAS QUALITY WORK. THE TECH WAS KIND, CARING, AND TOOK HIS TIME AND DID NOT RUSH THROUGH HIS WORK.

SALESPERSON WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE, INTERESTED IN DOING GOOD WORK. VERY LATE IN RETURNING CALL FOR ESTIMATE. INSTALLATION PERSON VERY CAREFUL AND COURTEOUS. PERSON CLEANING DUCTS WAS FAR LESS CAREFUL. GRADE DUCT CLEANING AS B TO C.

THEY WERE PROMPT, VERY PROFESSIONAL, THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. AND THE SAME DAY THEY FINISHED, SOMEONE FROM THEIR OFFICE FOLLOWED UP WITH A PHONE CALL TO MAKE SURE WE WERE SATISFIED. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE AND WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.
