I called to ask if Mission Heating and Air Conditioning could service two Trane heating/cooling wall units. I was explicit in describing them as wall units, like you would find in a hotel. The man I spoke with said that they could service these, set me up with a time, and said they would call when they were on their way. I never got a call, but they did show up fairly promptly. Here is where the problem begins. The service call /paperwork was submitted as a pre-winter furnace inspection. The repairman who showed up was expecting to find two furnaces and was not prepared for the wall units I had described. He told us that this kind of unit was self-contained and that there was really nothing to service, unless it was actually broken. He also said that he had not brought any of the right tools, because he was expecting furnaces. He checked to make sure that the unit cooled and heated (I could have told them that it was functioning over the phone), told us to clean the grate with a vegetable brush, and was on his way. Basically we paid $98 for someone to come out and tell us that our units could not be serviced (contrary to what we were told in the initial phone conversation), all the while acknowledging he was expecting something different based on the paperwork he was given. When I called the main line to speak with them about this miscommunication, there was very little sympthay. We were told that $98 is the charge for this kind of call. The problem, though, is that we are paying for a furnace inspection /maintenance, when that is not the service we had initially requested. The repairman admitted the mistake, but still took our money in the end. The type of call we are paying for is not what we requested in the intial phone conversation, the company was not able to perform the service we inquired into, and in the end, no service was truly rendered. They may do great work. I really don't know. But, if you ever have a misunderstanding with them, be prepared to shoulder the blame and still pay.

Dont count on them to get back to you when they say they will.

My units were original units, 31 years old. Tom came to view existing systems and make recommendation on replacements. We discussed relocation of AC unit from the back (it was right under the window) and moving it to the front. We discussed other concerns regarding meeting all various rebates and tax credits available. Tom sent my estimate options and gave separate pricing for relocating unit (I was awaiting Homes Association approval), the estimates were very well written and easy to understand, as well as the work to be completed laid out step by step. He followed up timely with me on every additional question I had. I wanted to get the work completed quickly in order to qualify for rebates and they were able to accommodate my request. They arrived on time, did the install in a timely manner, cleaned up any messes they made, left the house in better shape they were they arrived, seeing as how I now have brand new energy efficient units in place. Tom made a follow up phone call to see if I was satisfied with the install and if I had any thing more he could assist with. I highly recommend this Midwest Heating & Cooling. They were very honest, upfront and professional.

I think they are extremely honest and I find their service to be punctual, friendly and professional. They are fair in their pricing.

From getting the estimate to installing the furnace the service was outstanding. There was no high pressure and the installers were very professional and courteous.

We have been using them for many years and we have been happy with their services. They always come out in case of emergency even during the weekends. The owner's son is in the AC wholesale business. Our AC compressor was not working so they replaced the entire AC and they didn?t charge us anything for that.

One of the AC units failed and the guy who originally installed it couldn?t back it up because of his financial situation. I had a bad experience with him, as he didn?t fix my unit. Even though the unit was under warranty, I had to fund him the money for him to go and get the unit from the supplier. That?s when my warranty people asked me to use Mission Heating and Air Conditioning Company. My neighbor also uses them. Most of the work done was under warranty. They are good and are very reliable. They have been around for a long time. I will continue to use their services in the future.

Great! Everything happened on time. I was selling a home and had an inspector recommend a Freon recharge at about $250 to get performance up to speed. Mission checked and indicated that all I needed was a cleaning, for $85. They could have just done what was prescribed for a higher amount! I give them high marks.

THE TWO MEN WHO CAME OUT WERE VERY NICE AND PERSONABLE. THEY HAVE A GREAT HOURLY LABOR RATE THAT I COULD NOT FIND ANYONE TO MATCH. I AM A YOUNG WOMAN WHO LIVES ALONE AND I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE WITH BOTH OF THE EMPLOYEES.

THE SERVICEMEN ARE COURTEOUS AND POLITE. THEY ARE ALSO PUNCTUAL. THE SERVICE SEEMS TO BE REASONABLY PRICED.

THEY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. THE WORK IS EXCELLENT AND DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

SERVICEMAN WAS PROFESSIONAL AND STRAIGHTFORWARD. PRICES WERE SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAN COMPETITORS, BUT THE SERVICE EXPERIENCE WAS WELL WORTH IT.
