They were extremely professional, helpful, polite and cleaned up when they left. The result? Absolutely beautiful! They gave complete instructions after the work was done to make sure we knew how to keep everything healthy and alive. We feel like a ton of stress is gone and every time we drive by we can't believe that perfectly manicured and landscaped meadow is part of our yard! They are THE best.

Completed in less than a week. Workers cleaned up after themselves. Looks nice. One problem was that the mulch was too deep next to the house, covering the bottom of the wood shingles. After I called them, they came back out and removed some of the mulch. They actually distributed it to an area in my yard that needed mulch.

Brett and company did an excellent job. We have had many compliments about how great it looks. They were professional & completed the work in the stated time. We are very pleased with the work. Land Escapes is a great firm to be business with.

They exceeded all our expectations. We love it.

They were pretty efficient. They were very careful about the underground seep hoses and sprinkler system. I wanted a change in the boulders, and Brett was very responsive to that. Brett is very honest and professional. You might think the price was high, but you get what you pay for!

Brett worked with us in redesigning the project several times. He was patient and easy to work with. The quality of plants used were very good. We are pleased with the end result and the plants are all doing well. We have emailed Brett several times about watering and plant care and he is always responsive . Our only complaint was the movement of several lawn sprinklers and the failure to adjust properly . Also, the placement of the control value was not properly filled in so it has created a depression in the yard. Again, we are happy with the final result.

We have had a major water problem in our back yard during periods of moderate to heavy rain, with a swale that has led to significant movement of mulch we had placed. Owner Brett Bathurst responded promptly when we called three companies I found on this site. He came out and met with us, and listened well to what we wanted done- creation of a retaining wall, plant installation, a dry creek bed to handle the water, and a small fire pit, with re-sodding of the remainder of the back yard. He gave us a clear proposal for the job, and a likely start date. Despite a very rainy summer, he was able to meet that start date. His on-site team, Josh, Jose, and Ulysses arrived and were very efficient. They were polite, friendly, and respectful of our property, our time, and flexible. They cleaned up every day before leaving. The project was completed in a timely fashion, and we are totally satisfied with the outcome. I have nothing but good things to say about this company and highly recommend them.

The eye for perfection and quality work is exceptional. Additionally, Brett assisted is in correcting a drainage issue off of our driveway by designing a beautiful limestone staircase built into a small hillside. The landscaping they completed with that project was affordable and well done. Brett has since come out to repair an existing paver staircase and another time to cut back shrubs, clean landscape beds and trim small trees. The crews are always very professional, friendly and tidy. I cannot recommend LandEscapes highly enough - they are a breath of fresh air among service providers!!!

Excellent! Les Julian was my first contact with the company. Les is articulate, polite, and extremely knowledgeable. He was very fair with me regarding the price. The wall his team built was very large - approximately 3 feet high by 80 feet long. Land Escapes is a very professional operation. All dates were met. The workers were extremely courteous and meticulous. My neighbor who watched the men build the wall, said they built it as if it were their own. After the old wall was torn down, Les realized another drain was needed, and put it in. I appreciated the attention to the problems encountered during the process, and that they were flexible and intelligent with their solutions. The quality and durability of the wall was as important to them as it is to me. They gave me a 10-year warranty, so they stand behind their work. I received many, many bids for this job and the best and only other warranty that was given to me was a 2-year warranty. Hire these people - they know what they're doing!

Les was great to deal with throughout the entire process. He had some great ideas for the landscaping and the finished product was outstanding. The crew that did the work were professional and their work was fantastic. I've had several neighbors comment on what a difference this made in my house. I would recommend using them to anyone!

Les came out to give a bid and was going to charge $250 to draw up a design. I told him all the other landscapers I spoke with were only $50 for this service. He agreed to sketch out a plan and get back with me. He never got back with me.

Les was very professional and did a great job! The crews attention to detail looks amazing and they always cleaned up the area prior to leaving each day. When I requested additions to the project, Les gave me pricing updates. He was always good about answering all my questions about the project and care for the new plants. We are exremely pleased with the project and I have already recommended Land Escapes to serveral people.

Brett and crew did what they promised and were always punctual. They were not only a hard-working crew but could only be described and very competent. This was not only noted by me but also by neighbors! Neighbors were also very complimentary of the appearance of the completed beautification. I will quote only one lady, "That is just beautiful. It was a long and complex project. We hired Brett because we had confidence in his skills and knowledge to take on this task. We were pleased. Ours was a project that initially included irrigation, hardscapes and landscapes. Over the course of it, an additional tree, more sod, the covering our back stoop and a new front yard were all added. With each expansion, you were creative and patient with our questions. You did a great job. We particularly like the patio and walkway, and the beautiful work you did on our back stoop. The bed with roses and boxwoods in the back corner is an eye catcher for all who visit our property. We really like the large rocks in front about and the rocks by our back gate, although it was hard to visualize at first. We also like our new trees and know we will continue to enjoy them as they grow. We thank each of you for your long hours, your patience with our many questions and requests, and for the beautiful space you have created that we will enjoy each and every day. p.s. We like back stoop and walkway so much that we may talk with you about covering our front stoop and replacing our sidewalk with a similar walkway in the future. Thanks again!

Les did the design for us just based on some general ideas we gave him. It turned out looking great. He also has a two year warranty on the plants and 10 years on the retaining wall. Overall we are very happy with the project.

The two gentlemen that performed the labor were courteous, verified placement of flagstone when needed, did an excellent job and cleaned up the entire area when finished.

Brett meet on time to discuss project. Came back in a week with a drawing for what he thought would work for us. We went with his plan. His crew with great to work with and did an excellent job. Job came in on budget in ahead of schedule. Curb appeal now 200% improved.

It went very well. They brought the top soil in and wheel barrowed it around as needed and then laid the sod. Very professional job.

Was very prompt and professional. Gave me lots of options including one's they could help me with and one's that they would recommend someone else to do the work. In the end I decided to wait and not do the work but if I need landscaping done they would be the top of my list to call.

This the third year that we have used Brett. The first year we had the front yard re-landscaped and last year the backyard. This year Brett's crew cleaned out all of the beds and put down new mulch. Looks great! Brett and his crew are the best. Always willing to work with my schedule and around our dogs.

Brett showed up exactly when he said he would, was very laid back and easy to talk to. I was interested in cleaning up and improving the landscaping to help sell the house. Brett offered some great ideas that improved on my vision and saved me money over what I thought I wanted. He recommended enlarging the front bed since the original plants had grown a lot over 5 years--the bed was too small. He cut a new shape to the bed and made beautiful edges. He filled the holes with some great looking new plants. He also cut nice rings and mulched around 8 trees. I had a lot of old fence stakes from when the trees were new that I could not get out of the ground. Brett removed all these for me, and hauled away some yard waste I had in bags.
