Fusion Electric

I have an old (1910) house in Brookside. The time came to bring some of the fixtures up to more modern safety standards and also to fix a problem with the line to the garage. The previous owners had made some mistakes, including running Romex underground rather than the UF kind of cable you're supposed to use. Fusion's bid was one QUARTER of another highly-rated company's bid. Jeff was courteous and pleasant and so was Justin, the gentleman who did the work. He disconnected the old, wrong-kind underground cable to the garage and ran a new overhead wire to the garage instead. He changed out six ceiling light fixtures that had been giving me the willies and brought them up to today's standards of safety. I could not be more pleased with the work.

Very well. They came out and gave an estimate. Worked with our time schedule. Very friendly workers and gets the job done.

The contractor did what he said for the price. Seem very expensive for less than 2 hours of work. My wife had to clean up the mess left behind. Next time I will get several bids to make sure I get a fair price.

I have to mention I have dogs, one of which is extremely large but very friendly. The owner did the free estimate. He didn't even bat an eye at my dog. He had a two man crew do the job., Fast, friendly, on time and under the estimate. I even had they add a couple of outlets. These guys were great. I was told up front that I would be without power for a few hours, I think it ended up being 3. I was also told it would be about an 8 hr. job. They finished in 6. They cleaned up after. I could hardly tell that they had been there. The only evidence was a brand new larger service box. They only do electric, but they do it well. I hope the HVAC people I find are as good.

Fusion Electric is THE BEST!! We were hosting Thanksgiving dinner at our home and found a really great light fixture for our dining room (ceiling) on Tuesday: 2 days before Thanksgiving. We weren't planning on changing out the fixture, so we hadn't made any installation arrangements ahead of time, but when we saw it, we just had to have it. And of course we really wanted it installed before Thanksgiving to make our dining room complete. We have used Fusion Electric in the past, so I went straight to Angie's List to see if they were offering any deals. They of course had a great deal and I called them right after I received my voucher to schedule. I knew my chances of getting them over the very next day, the day before Thanksgiving, were probably a little unreasonable (which I expressed to them when calling), but I asked anyway. We discussed that they would try as hard as they could to make it out Wednesday, but didn't want to promise for sure since it was so last minute. This is completely understandable! At 10:15 the next morning, I got a call that they were able to squeeze us in. Not only was it amazing that they were able to make this happen, but even better, it wasn't a rushed job. This WASN'T squeezing us in and rushing through the job; they squeezed us in and took their time with the installation to make sure we were perfectly satisfied! They really are the best and we greatly appreciate them! Highly recommended!!!

He checked it. He put a little tester on it and he said the outlet was fine, that it must be the fountain pump that was bad that was plugged into it. So I said OK, it was strange. It was working well until I pushed the GFI button to turn it off. When I plugged it back in it didn't work. Then after he left, I plugged the fountain pump into an extension cord plug into a different outlet and it worked fine, so it wasn't the pump. Then I plugged it back in into that outlet and it worked. So I don't know what the problem was with it, but it worked. And I asked him to come up and look at another outlet that he had replaced. And he didn't want to do it. I asked him to just come and look at it real quick. So he came up and looked at it, flipped the switch and it was still having the problem I described before he replaced the outlet. Then he looked up at the fixture itself and said he thinks it's the bulb that's in there. He thought that was it. We got a different bulb and put it in there and it worked fine. It didn't repeat the problem. And then he charged us a hundred bucks for that, because he didn't consider that to be part of the follow-up on the original thing. I was not happy about that. He didn't tell me he was going to charge me before he went up there and started the investigating. So I wouldn't use them again. Originally when I got him it was one of those Big Deals. It was two hours of work for $99. I replaced three outlets which took him one hour. I could have easily found other things for him to do, but I didn't. I let him off the hook after one hour. And then for him to come back and charge me a hundred bucks to go consult on one that wasn't repaired that he supposedly fixed, just kind of pissed me off.

They were able to do all the things I needed, and the deal I purchased with them turned out really well.

All of the work was for our kitchen remodel. The work was done by two electricians on different days. Jason came out to do the initial work moving boxes, but since we didn't yet know the exact placement of the island, we held off an running lines for the pendant lights. Rich came back out a few weeks later to finish the job. Both Jason and Rich were on time to the job, and very professional. Jason even caught something that I had initially missed in planning the project, and was able to complete the work to correct the issue. They were both friendly and professional, and they both walked me through the different options to accomplish what I asked them to do. Jeff was very responsive both times I called to book, and he worked with my schedule to get someone there when I needed them. I would definitely use Fusion again in the future.

Jason was punctual (early) on three different occasion. He knew what he was doing and worked quickly to accomplish everything we wanted done. I will use them again in the future and would recommend them to a fiend.

The electrician was prompt, worked in a timely manner and left minimal clean-up.

It was good. I paid extra. It was for parts, condo work and wiring. They put some extra boxes. It was a great experience. He was friendly and I was impressed with his knowledge and skills. He took care of everything and in a timely manner. They were able to get done in a couple of days. I thought it was good value. I did not have that expertise.

I received an estimate for $850 which inspired me to visit Home Depot, spend $290, and do the work myself. I think Fusion hedged the estimate in their favor to build in contingency funds due to their imprecise review of the scope of work. I certainly think they would do a professional installation, they were responsive and they treated me with respect. I'm relieved that I have some "know how" otherwise I would have paid entirely too much for this circuit installation.

We were thrilled with the work done by this company. The worker was right on time and did the work beautifully in less time than expected. There were no extra costs, and although we expected the walls and ceiling to look like swiss cheese after installing the wiring in a ceiling with no attic access, there was only a tiny, easily repaired, square section of drywall removed. The worker was polite and left the room clean with a perfectly installed fixture in place. I'd like to have the same done in many rooms of the house!

It was HOT outside. Jason was very efficient and polite. I had an electric meter box detach from the house. The job involved working with KCPL to turn off the electric. He did a great job. Even KCPL said he really knew what he was doing. I chose Fusion because of their experience in this area. I originally talked to the owner Jeff. He knew exactly what needed to be done and explained how long it would take and what the cost would be. I'm very impressed and will highly recommend them.

He was very good and professional. Provided good consult on solving our problem. Fixed items in a timely manner (probably could have had him do more). The Big Deal was a great deal. My only complaint was that the cost of materials was quite high compared to what I could have purchased at the hardware store - probably a 500% mark up on a basic outlet.

The experience was fine. There was one technician here doing the work. The work he did took more than the 2 hours, which was expected, so I had to pay additional for more hours. I would hire them again.

It could not have gone better. Jason Russell was on time, courteous, professional, and knew what he was doing. Did a great job, and did it quickly. There were some GFCI issues that were resolved, and the cost was such that I could ask him to replace a few other outlets while he was here. All in all I would say this is certainly a company that I will do business with again. Thank you!

I am extremely satisfied with the work that was done. I bought the deal because a bank of lights in my basement wasn't working. I assumed it was the switch but didn't know. The electrician quickly diagnosed the problem changed out the light switch I had purchased. He then updated an old ceiling fan with an updated one. And, last but not least, he installed a ceiling fan where I only had a canned light.

Everything went well, from the initial prompt contact to the end of the project. Extremely happy with every aspect of the job. In fact, while the tech was at my house I had him look at another area of concern and he was able to give a quote right on the spot. I am now in the process of trying to schedule another appointment for that work.

It was good. I had him add some outlets for me in the basement.

We were experiencing an issue with our dryer throwing a breaker and not working. They came out and quickly identified the problem. I'm not an electrical guy so I'm not really sure what he did to fix it. I do know that it is now working perfectly and am very happy with the results. We would most definitely use them again.

Purchased list deal for 2 hrs. labor for 99$. Job was small and only took an hour but that is okay. Communication and ease of scheduling was good. All was fine with service. Only thing I did not like is that the company/technician does not use a printed list of supplies listing their price. This is always a turn off to me. He worded it like, "how about $25?". I knew that part was about $13 at Lowes. There is a 100% mark up and I realize that everyone marks things up. However, I would have been much happier if he would have looked at an established list. I recommend one for future calls for this company.

They did an excellent job, very reasonably priced and timely. They do great work!
