Bruinner Quality Decks is exactly what their name represent, Lawerence came to my home, the exact time he schedule for a estimate. I felt comfortable to ask questions, and was given an estimate within a day or two. The building crew was very nice and did an excellent job building and cleaning up behind the old boards. My deck was built fast & the quality was wood was used. Brunner Quality Decks are very professional and provide excellent service. I would recommend this company to anyone who want a deck built

Brunner's returned our first inquiry within hours, and Lawrence was at the house within days to prepare a bid for the services we wanted. We had a bid within a couple of days, and we accepted their bid. Work started within a month of accepting the bid. We had a couple of weather issues, but the entire job took one week. The finished projects were so much more than I imagined they would be. We had Brunner's enlarge the deck considerably, and the finished deck is stunning! Nice, wide staircase with a wide landing, handrails as well as the stair railing, decorative post tops, black railing spindles, so sturdy! I am amazed at the attention to detail! The crew ran into some old termite damage, but repaired the damage before continuing on with the project. they moved the dirt from digging the posts out into spots in the yard that could use it, as well as building up the dirt along the foundation under the deck. The jobsite was cleared of all old lumber, concrete bags, and left in great condition. The front porch looks so great with the cedar posts, railings and the black spindles, it's like a different house! I can't wait to replace the front door and the shutters on the house to tie it all together! They did a GREAT job! Lawrence was on the job site every day, and Frank led the crew like a well oiled machine. We are so happy with the outcome and we will (and already have) recommend Brunner's to our friends and family!

I worked on getting a proposal to replace our deck with Brunner's. I called to set a time for someone to take a look at the deck. They were immediately on top of it and came out the next day. Mr. Banks came on time as scheduled. He took a look at our existing conditions and discussed what we would like for the new deck. We also had a conversation about how to best design the deck with good input from Mr. Banks. He left us a packet of information for us to review and we received a quote within the next day. The quote they provided was right in line with all the rest. The only reason that we didn't go with Brunner's was a timing issue on our part. I would definitely get a quote from them and would definitely look to them for future work.

I got the quote from Kerry Brunner in July and hired his company to do the work in mid-July. The only problem with Brunner's Quality Decks is they are so good that they are very, very busy. We had to wait until 11/10 for them to finally start our project. I called them periodically to check where we were in the schedule. I probably should have called more. They told me they would come at 7:30 AM on 11/10 and at 7:27 AM they were at my door. They worked all day and then they were back the next morning by 8 AM. We have just had extensive remodeling done inside our home so we've had people in and out for months and none of them worked as hard or steadily as Brunner's crew did. I was also impressed with how early Brunner's start. With our remodeling work, we felt lucky if someone was at our house by 10 AM and if they put in a 4 hour day. Brunner's crew was just great and we have a beautiful deck. I was impressed, too, with Kerry Brunner's knowledge. He's kind of rough around the edges but he knows what he's talking about and his crew of guys know their stuff. They cleaned up after themselves, too, and left no messes for us to deal with. I would hire Brunner's again in a heart beat and highly recommend them.

It went great the best experience we have ever had with contractors. Great people on time and great work.

Crew came out several days and had to work around a rainy week. They got the job done as quickly as possible. The yard was kept clean, which was appreciated as we have dogs. The deck looks fantastic. It is high quality with excellent craftsmanship.

Estimate was for a fair price--in line with other providers. However, "contracted" with a relative to do the ob for cost of material.

Kerry and his crew did an excellent job. They were always here on time and worked from the minute they arrived. The attention to detail sets them apart and it shows in the quality of their work. Another detail I appreciated is that once they start on your deck they only work on your deck and your deck alone until its finished. Happy staining!

Kerry was always responsive and helpful. He is a nice guy that cares about his work and his customers. He knew and followed all the city codes for the new deck. He even incorporated in some upgraded features that i requested. The crew was on time everyday and they are hard working. They kept the worksite clean and were professional. We are very happy with our deck and would highly recommend Brunners Quality Decks to anyone! Advice: Call in January to get your deck done in the spring or summer. Kerry has one crew and his job list fills up fast. I appreciate him using one crew and maintaining high quality control on his decks. Call early, be patient, then enjoy your new quality deck!

Arrived on time to give an estimate. Described exactly what needed to be done to bring deck into code compliance. We had just purchased the house and the home inspection found problems with deck. He kept us in the loop and always returned calls. We had at one time a scheduling problem and he worked with us to keep is in the rotation of his jobs. Workers were professional and worked at a steady pace all day long. Work area was cleaned up every night. They were doing such a good job on the deck we asked for a bid for railings on front steps. I thought I would just get an estimate and be put on the work schedule for sometime later but he said they were already here and they could do the job in a few hours. Mr. Brunner is very professional and his crew was professional as well. Excellent price that matched estimate exactly. Excellent work. I would hire him again and can feel comfortable recommending them to anyone.

Great experience. The design and the deck are awesome and better than we had imagined. You can tell that they've been at this for years. Showed up on time every day, kept us informed about the process along the way, and cleaned up nicely. We asked for a couple of additional items along the way and Kerry was very flexible and accommodating. I must add that the guys were great and stayed professional and cool in spite of being yelled at daily by arguably the least reasonable neighbor on the planet who thinks nobody should be legally parked anywhere near his house. Great job, guys!

Our old deck needed to be replaced and we wanted to add a large gazebo. After first contact with Kerry I was treated with the professional treatment you would want from any contractor. Mr. Brunner came to my home and listen to what I wanted done, and within a day or two contacted me with the estimate and the plans for deck and gazebo and approximate start date. When the day came to start, he and his crew were there as I was told, they tore out my old deck and hauled away with in a day and then they started their construction. Everyday like clock work they were there and with a fine meshed crew they did the job from start to finish in the time that was stated at the very beginning. I also may add they Kerry was there everyday to answer any questions I might have had. The completion of the whole project deck and gazebo was exactly what I wanted / invisioned. On a side note; over the week's course of the work, I came to know Kerry and his crew well and that even made the experience even more pleasant. Without hesitation I would recomment Mr. Brunner to anyone who was looking for a professional company to design, build your deck .

another project pushed their time until January. Kerry called to keep us in the loop about the projected start time. The crew arrived early in the morning on the projected day, materials were delivered and placed where we requested them to be left. The crew cleaned up after each day's work, and the job was completed as promised. The quality of their work was exceptional, we would hire them again in a heartbeat to complete another project!

Kerry and his crew did a wonderful job. The decks they tore out had been here 20 years and there were constant challenges to be met because of the unexpected issues they uncovered. They showed us each of them and explained various options each time for us to choose among. They were methodical and deliberate, obviously very experienced. They cleaned up every day of the two weeks the large project required. I was impressed from the beginning when Kerry took such detailed information and measurements before giving us his initial quote. We choose a PVC material for long maintenance-free life which the crew handled expertly.

Kerry Brunner arrived at my home to look at my old deck and provide an estimate for a new deck. He gave suggestions and answered a lot of questions that I had. It was obvious he really knows decks. He called the next day with a quote that I thought was very good. I didn't get any other quotes just because 1) I was impressed with his reviews on Angieslist, 2) he's a down-to-earth guy that gives you the information you need to make a decision and even throws out alternatives (one of which I used, a storage area under our deck), 3) his quote was good, especially after searching the reviews from other companies on angieslist. Kerry set up the preparation of permits, utility line crews, etc. prior to his arrival. Kerry and his crew arrived on Monday morning and began work promptly. They were finished by Wednesday afternoon. Kerry was there the entire time and his crew was great. They work hard and get the job done. I had absolutely no worries at all, which is the way it should be. I usually feel like I have to monitor contractors when they are working, but his crew is top notch and very professional. I can't compliment them enough on how well the deck turned out. It looks fantastic, the enclosed storage area underneath is impressive and I'm so glad that Kerry recommended it. My wife is extremely pleased with the deck as well and very happy with Kerry and crew. Definitely get a quote from Brunner's Quality Decks. I highly recommend them.

Kerry contacted me very quickly and was at my home the next day to look at the project. He was very professional providing me with a packet of work he has done as well as an insurance certificate. Kerry did all the measurements and advised me he would get back with an estimate. I must say Kerry and his crew work together like a fine tuned machine! I was VERY impressed will how professional everyone was as well as considerate to their surroundings. I LOVE the finished product and look forward to having them out to do more in the future. My brother saw the porch and is going to contact Kerry to do his. I must say something that I appreciated very much was at the end...the cost was exactly what I was given as an estimate. Kerry stated to me, if it's not good enough for his home he isn't going to use it or do it on someone else's home and trust me, his work shows that! Communication with Kerry was difficult at best. It would typically take a few days for him to return calls, and ultimately he never returned my last call to work out a final bid for our project, which was a major reason why we went with another contractor. When I did actually get to speak with him, he was great. Very detailed, passionate about what he does, etc. Just reaching him, and getting him to respond was the issue. One of his workers, David I believe his name was, did a thorough job during the bid visit, asking questions of us, making suggestions, etc. I have no doubt they do quality work; it's evident by the number of other positive reviews by others here on Angie's List. But I want quality work done along with top notch communication, and I didn't feel that would be the case If I had hired them to do the project, based upon my experience with Kerry during the bidding process.

Kerry spent a lot of time explaining things when he first came to give me the estimate. His crew were hard workers, completed the job in 12 hours, and cleaned up well. They even replaced an old wooden door off my screened- in porch with a storm door. I am very pleased with their work,and I love my new deck that is maintenance free except for an occasional cleaning.

Kerry was great. First, the process of getting a quote from him went very well. He took the time to explain how he would build the deck, even with a couple of unique design features due to the shape of our house. The other folks who gave us quotes did not do this, so I appreciate the time that he took in making sure that I understood how the process would go down. We scheduled the build date and it was even moved forward by a couple of weeks (which was great for us). I watched these guys work for two days in stifling heat without a break. They really put a great effort into it and the end product is just what we wanted. After talking to three builders recommended by Angie's List, Kerry was certainly the best.

I called Kerry using Angie's List recommendations. He went to the site, called me with the bid, since I was out of town. We discussed it. Several weeks later, he called to tell me he had a few days in between jobs waiting on other job permits, were we still interested? I arranged it so that the old deck was removed on a Friday so that we could prep the site over the weekend. He returned on Monday and we discussed the plans again. He took his time calculating every piece of the deck before he started, where the electric lines would run below the deck, where the steps would finish. My daughter and I would "highly" recommend the entire crew. They were careful, detail oriented, kept the area clean during and after the project, and did their best to earn our money and respect. We would recommend them to anyone in the KC Area if you are needing a good quality deck at a reasonable price. It looks GREAT! Thanks Kerry.

We found Brunner's Quality Deck on angie's list and called him because we were impressed with his prior reviews. We were impressed with Kerry's knowledge and professionalism from start to finish. He and his crew were always on time, were organized and worked hard. The finished product was exactly what we had hoped it would be.

From the time I contacted Kerry he was on the ball. He called back and we set up an appointment within days to discuss a custom deck. We were technically outside of his normal service area but since we were Angie's List members, he made an exception. Once we discussed what we wanted, he told us what would work and what would not. After agreeing on details and price, we waited for the weather to cooperate. Kerry was with the crew each day and they stayed on the job until it was complete. They completed it two days earlier then expected. All materials were cleaned up when finished and he kept me informed of any delays and progress. We plan on expanding next year and will again call on Kerry and his crew. We called him because of the reviews we read on Angie's List and they are "spot on"! Thank you Kerry. Due to necessary work on our home, we had to have our deck removed to allow access to the foundation from the outside. I was looking for someone to remove and haul away the old deck and later replace with another one once work on our house was complete. The foundation work was a very extensive and very stressful process so it was essential that I find a professional that was trustworthy and that I could rely on to do quality work (hopefully taking some stress off our shoulders!) Luckily, I found Kerry on Angie's List and was impressed with his ratings, so I called for an estimate. He was very friendly, professional and I did not feel rushed to explain what we needed. He also gave suggestions on cost savings and design. The removal/haul away of the old deck was scheduled quickly and the crew did a great job leaving the area clean and organized when finished. The foundation work on our home took took much longer than expected and Kerry was very patient and flexible when it came to scheduling the building of the new deck. The crew was on time both days, were hard working, friendly and respectful. They were patient with my questions and requests. I was also very impressed that not only did Kerry arrive at my house on day 1 along with his crew (introducing me to them individually), I noticed that he dropped in a few times during the build. Additionally, one of my requests was to re-attach the hand made dog ramp from the old deck for our senior dog. They did a great job at re-attaching and even elevated the bottom of the ramp so the wood would not rot in the soil. Kerry also took the time to answer questions I had on how to protect the deck with stain and waterproofing. The build took 2 days and I couldn't be more pleased with the work. I love the peace of mind that comes with knowing I made the right choice hiring Brunner's Quality Decks!
