Description of Work: We got new gutters, downspouts, and gutter covers. They were very responsive and answered all my questions and very quick and professional. We are extremely happy with the results! It looks great and since putting in new gutters we have had no water in our basement now that it is draining correctly! The gutter covers have been great since we have several large trees around our home! I would absolutely recommend them!

Description of Work: As agreed in advance, Steve and Joe arrived about 10:30 AM. By 3:30 PM they had: + Removed all existing guttering and downspouts on my home. + Inspected the fascia boards for wood rot, deterioration, and damage. + Caulked spike holes in the fascia boards and prepared the fascia boards for painting. + Applied two coats of prime paint to the fascia boards and to the wood siding that had been covered by the downspouts. + Fabricated and installed new gutters, downspouts, downspout extensions, diverters, and a splash guard. + Cleaned up all debris, even using a leaf blower to remove shingle grit from our driveway, sidewalk and patio. In addition, Steve and Joe answered my questions using words that I understood, looked at me when we spoke, and worked continuously while they were here. Also, Steve graciously took the time to show and explain to my neighbor in this attached side-by-side duplex how a diverter and splash guard would appear when installed at a place where our two roofs meet. Because Steve did this, the neighbor agreed to have the diverter placed on her roof to stop a water run-off problem that has existed since this duplex was built 15 years ago. The estimator, Brandon, after listing to my description of the work to be done, identified and explained the negative consequences of several of the services I requested and proposed alternatives. I'm glad I accepted his suggestions. Without reservation I recommend Johnson County Guttering to anyone whose primary objectives are service and product quality and satisfaction with the way they are treated by a supplier's personnel.

+ -1 moreService provider was on my short list of companies to bid my project, based on information found on Angie's List. I contacted their office to schedule an estimate and was told that their estimator would be by the house within a certain range of dates and that the estimate would be mailed to me a few days after that. They did exactly that. Unfortunately, I wanted to be present for the estimate, both to meet the company representative and to specify what I wanted to be estimated. They could not accomodate this request. The bid they prepared was very professional and contained a wide array of options, with specific pricing, that I could choose from. They offered some options, such as replacing the gutters only and retaining the existing downspouts (for a considerably lower price), that the other candidate firms did not. Overall, I decided to go with a different firm, because Johnson County Guttering's quote was the highest of the group for the work I wanted done. I was also concerned about not being able to set a specific appointment for the estimate, so that I could be present to meet the estimator. This is a matter of personal preference on my part and not necessarily a failure on the company's part. I would say that this company would be a good choice, if you are comfortable with hiring them without first having an opportunity to meet them face to face.
