When our furnace stopped working, we asked three companies to come out, take a look and give us an estimate for replacing our 25 year old furnace and air conditioning system. Dave Russell with Earl Russell Heating and Cooling put together a very professional detailed estimate, with 4 alternatives presented. While he was here, he also patched together our old furnace to keep us warm until we did the replacement (a couple of days). Once we selected them, they began the work promptly. They showed up when they said they would, with everything they needed. They were as unobtrusive as possible, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Dave made sure all the caulking and wrapping was done properly. He even filled out the utility company and state paperwork for our rebates. I would definitely recommend Earl Russell Heating and Cooling!

He told us a few times that the air in the basement is not beeing recirculated throughout the house, but in fact it has!!! HE GAVE US THE WRONG INFORMATION and because of him we exposed our little children to radon. We recently found out that he GAVE US THE WRONG INFORMATION when somebody else pointed out the return air vent in the basement. WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

I like that they offer money saving coupons. We have used this company for the past seven years. They did such a good job the first time that we kept them. We have had them install a heat pump that has worked very efficiently and new furnace.

We have been using their services for about five years. They are prompt, thorough and are very responsive when we call them. If their are repairs that need to be done they explain the problem in detail.

Dave presented competitive quotes and a positive image. Of 3 bids we chose him. He recommended upper mid range units stating that in our case we would not realize the benefit from the top units. Both times, they showed up on time, were very neat (for instance, all of the men wore disposable booties whenever they came in our home), pleasant and cleaned up everything at the end of each day. The installations were done very neatly and have a very professional appearance. For frosting on the cake, they filed an application on our behalf for a government sponsored energy savings rebate. All we had to do was deposit the rebate check.

AFTER GETTING 3 'SECOND OPINIONS,' WE FOUND OUT ALL OF HIS DIAGNOSES AND SUGGESTIONS WERE UNFOUNDED. UNFRIENDLY AND LACKS PROFESSIONALISM AND PERSONALITY.

EARL RUSSELL DOES GOOD WORK AND IS MUCH CHEAPER THAN SOME OF THEIR COMPETITORS ON REPAIRS. THEY ARE NOT CHEAPER ON THE ANNUAL SERVICE CALLS, BUT THEY ARE CHEAPER ON REPAIRS. FOR EXAMPLE, ANOTHER COMPANY QUOTED ME A PRICE THAT WAS ABOUT $150 HIGHER FOR THE SAME MOTOR REPLACEMENT. I HAVE SWITCHED TO EARL RUSSELL AND PLAN TO STAY WITH THEM.

THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND EASY TO WORK WITH. I HAD SEVERAL ESTIMATES FROM OTHER COMPANIES AND HE QUOTED ME AN EXCELLENT PRICE IN COMPARISON. I FOUND HIM TO BE VERY TRUSTWORTHY AND HONEST. HE MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT IN MY DECISION AND HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN HIS TRADE. I FELT VERY SAFE AND COMFORTABLE IN WORKING WITH HIM AND THAT WAS IMPORTANT TO ME.

SERVICE MAN SERVICED THE WRONG UNIT, FOUND NOTHING WRONG, AND THEN BLAMED US FOR HIS MISTAKE.

I WAS SHOCKED BECAUSE THEY WERE SO TERRIFIC. HIGH QUALITY. SO CLEAN. THEY TOOK THEIR SHOES OFF AS SOON AS THEY CAME IN. THE WAY THEY INSTALLED EVERYTHING WAS SO NEAT. VERY THOROUGH. THEY EVEN WAXED THE A/C TO KEEP IT FROM RUSTING. WARRANTY AND PRICE WERE BETTER THAN ANY OTHERS.

DID NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR SERVICING ON A HOLIDAY

REPLACED HEATER CONTROL. MEMBER HAS USED THEM FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 YEARS.
