Cooper's Water Conditioning

Everyone that I talked to was very friendly and professional. The installation happened next day with no problems.

I called Cooper's to schedule a service call. I talked to Craig Cooper. Rather than schedule a call, he jumped right into problem solving mode and was able to walk me through the steps necessary to get the water softener working again. I was pleasantly shocked that he knew just what to do, was able to tell me what to do over the phone, and was patient while I ran back and forth between the phone and the water softener. He could have scheduled an appointment and done the work himself, but he told me what to do at no charge.

I contacted three companies from Angie's list. All had grade A's. Cooper's was the only company who asked to come out to give me an estimate. He was also the lowest estimate of all three even before my discounts. I received a new mover (or Angie's list) discount plus a 4% discount for paying by check. He came to our house on a Saturday morning for the estimate and the water softener was installed on Tuesday. It took less than an hour. The installer was professional and explained everything when he was done. I would definitely recommend them.

Job 1: Scott Cooper came out and checked the existing, non-operational unit. He gave an estimate to overhaul it and also to replace it. He also gave an estimate on the reverse osmosis drinking system. We decided to purchase both. The installer was prompt and cleaned up after himself. He briefly explained both systems and left the instructions. I called Scott after two days because the drinking system was not functioning properly. He sent a worker right out. It was determined that the installer either forgot to turn on the tank or the valve got bumped off. He showed me the proper placement of the valve and was very courteous. Also, I liked that they gave a discount on the price for paying by cash or check. Job 2: The reinstall was scheduled at my convenience. Done for free, done well. Scott has been extremely helpful whenever I have a question or concern.

They were excellent, very responsive, on time, and they explained everything to me. They were not high pressure and I was very pleased all around.

The initial phone call was excellent. The salesman explained that most water softeners will fail in 5 or 6 years, and even new ones will need to be repaired perhaps every 8 years or so. The cost if a new unit was clearly explained. On the day of installation, the installer was late, but called me so I would expect him about 90 minutes late. The unit he brought did not have any electronics like my previous unit, which showed salt level, date/time, real-time water flow, and allowed settings for vacation, alerts of low salt, etc. I think the salesperson should have discussed these options with me prior to ordering my new unit. The new unit is all mechanical and does not provide any graphic displays of things like salt level, low-salt alerts, etc. The installer felt that the mechanical unit was likely to last longer; I felt like the installer had ease of repair in mind from his viewpoint where I (the customer) had ease-of-use and unit status display features in mind.

Very easy, low pressure sales. Came within 24 hours to install. Pleasant;came and went for the install without me being home. Knowledgeable about water in my area and my water softener options.

The work itself was performed efficiently. It did take quite a while for them to work this into their schedule (almost two weeks). Based on past experiences, however, if I had requested prompt service, they most likely would have provided it. After the technician left I noticed that he had left the used filters in my sink, two of which are large, heavy cartridges. I would have been happier if he had taken them away, or at least asked me how I wanted to dispose of them.

This company works fast! They were able to come out and give us an estimate and then perform the work within three days from when I placed the call to them. Very knowledgeable and the price was the best.

Mr. Cooper is very knowledgeable about his products. Also, he is very low pressure on sales. Installation was very professional and friendly. The area around the softener was cleaner after he left than it was originally. Also, they removed my old softener as well. Excellent experience.

I (foolishly) tried to disassemble the water conditioner myself to replace the filters. At that time, I had not contacted Cooper's (the original installer and servicer). However, I ended up with a significant leak and called them at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, 10/11/06. They instructed me on how to stop the leak, and had a service rep at our house by 4:00 pm. He was skilled, courteous, helpful and not condescending. He was also done in less than 30 minutes.

They came out when scheduled and installed the softener quickly. They cleaned up when finished and were friendly.

Called for service on a non-functioning water softener. Company representative came out the next business day to repair. Called ahead and showed up at the scheduled time. Completed repair and was very professional and friendly. Used my Angie list discount.

When I called him back to set up an appointment, he was able to have the softener installed later that day. His employee was very professional. I would recommend Cooper's Water Conditioning.

Fast, knowledgeable and affordable. Explained why new system was needed instead of repairing old softener, installed the next day and took away old system.

I placed three phone calls to obtain quotes on a water softener and filter. The first two companies either didn't answer the phone (or even have an answering machine), or recommended I check their filtering systems out on line and visit their show room. The third company I contacted was Cooper's Water Conditioning. The phone was answered by a pleasant well-informed employee who transferred me to Mr. Scott Cooper. Mr. Cooper answered all questions I had concerning the water softener and filter and was able to quickly schedule me for an appointment. The day of the appointment, Mr. Cooper was punctual and well prepared. We decided to purchase both the softener and filter from Cooper's (they were by far the friendliest and best priced! Wow, what a concept! Customer service oriented and reasonably priced!. Mr. Cooper gave us financing options to meet our budget and scheduled the installation to meet our schedule. The installation people were on time and cleaned up after the installation.

This company is incredible. They came at a moment's notice when I had problems with a leaking water softener AND I had no intention of buying a new one right now. That's service, in my book. When I do get ready to buy, I'll call Coopers. They were extremely courteous and helpful.

Job 1: They had the most competitive pricing for an on demand unit (Aqualine brand). The gentleman that performed the work was efficient. He said pellets gunk up the holding tank and showed me the bottom of mine. He recommended using solar salt to prevent this from happening. They also included 100# of salt, which I think will last a long time with the on demand system. Job 2:Cooper's was kind enough to fax a copy of my work order to my home warranty company after they had lost what I sent them. I really appreciate them going the extra mile and I am also very pleased with the water softener.

They'd been out two months ago to service the water softener because I didn't think it was working right. They made minor adjustments and said it was fine. Then I realized it was suffering from a continuous leak/dripping sound. They came back and replaced the dysfunctional part and didn't charge labor because of the previous visit. They're all very courteous and helpful, a pleasure to work with.

I would call him an old timer with old time values of honesty. He takes a lot of pride in his work and his company. His water softener is built to last much longer with practically no repairs thank many more of the newer models.

The man on the phone was very helpful in explaining what I may need. He was one of the owners. I liked the fact that he suggested a basic water softener. They answered my questions, worked quietly. They were polite, cleaned up all their mess. Very pleasant.

Great experience overall: I received a quote from Scott Cooper and shopped around for a month. When I called back, Scott honored the original quote despite price increases. He set up installation around our schedule. He sent a representative who was punctual, courteous, and above all professional. So far, we are pleased with our purchase and would recommend anyone looking for a water conditioning system to talk to Cooper's.
