Because this was an irritating problem that had gone on for quite awhile, Randy (service manager) authorized all of the work to be done at no cost. Gabe and I stayed in contact, even though the temperatures had warmed enough to temporarily eliminate the problem. Now, during very cold nights, the unit can still be heard as it operates outside, but it no longer sounds like it is right in the house and is not very noticeable. I appreciate the time, effort, and willingness to resolve the problem without charge on behalf of Control Tech.

Control Tec was recommended by Mite-Ducts. Gabe Robbins contacted me and we arranged the time of inspection. Gabe inspected the duct-work in my house and concluded that the best approach was to have the ducts cleaned since the ducts were all of metal and were professionally insulated. He offered to call Mite-Ducts to set up the cleaning. I was particularly impressed because the inspection was actually free, and because there was absolutely no attempt to find ''something wrong'' so that I would feel compelled to fix it.

Tucker Moore serviced our furnace. He was on time, extremely professional, and offered many helpful tips for maintaining our furnace. He took a lot of time to be sure the job was done right. This was the first time we had serviced our furnace since purchasing our home. If Control Tech maintains this level of service, they have earned a new lifelong customer and many referrals. Outstanding service and work at a more than fair price.

The technician (Darrell - hope I spelled it right) was early! He was very polite, friendly, and was thorough in his work. He checked connections, batteries, etc before replacing the thermostat to make sure that it really needed replaced. Will definitely use them again.

We've used several vendors in the past and Control Tech was by far the most professional from the first phone call through completion of service.

He arrived early, performed his work thoroughly, and actually charged less than I had been told it would cost.

Technician, Ben, was prompt, courteous and very businesslike. He was also very considerate and took precautions so as to not track snow into the house. We have used Control Tech before, both for emergency service and routine maintenance. They respond quickly to emergency calls. However, routine maintenance calls are scheduled at least a month out. We let our scheduled maintenance agreement lapse, so the call was more expensive than it would have been otherwise.

We have used them before and have always been very pleased with their prompt and courteous service. They do a good job of thoroughly inspecting the furnace and AC. We tried Control Tech a few years ago after the company that we had been using kept charging us high fees for their work and they told us that we needed a new AC, even though ours was only 5 years old. They said that our AC was beyond repair and that they would give us a good deal on a new AC and furnace. Even though our furnace was ok and also only 5 years old, they said you wouldn't want to replace on without replacing the other. We called Angie's List for a recommendation to get a second opinion. They recommended Control Tech. The serviceman came out and said that the only thing that our AC needed was more coolant and a new seal. It cost around $100.00 at that time and our AC and furnace have been good ever since. I've recommended Control Tech to several friends and they have been very pleased with their work.

AFTER A MONTH I CALLED THE OFFICE AND A NEW REGISTER WAS DELIVERED THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY. I'D RATHER THEY HADN'T FORGOTTEN BUT COULDN'T ASK FOR BETTER REMEDIAL ACTION! OFFERED THE ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT OR SENIOR CITIZEN'S DISCOUNT. SENIOR CITIZEN'S DISCOUNT WAS MORE, SO THEY HAPPILY GAVE US THAT.

COMPANY TECHNICIAN WAS POLITE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND MADE THE REPAIR IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. THE FLOODING PROBLEM HAS DISAPPEARED AND MY BASEMENT IS DRY ONCE AGAIN.

IT SEEMED THAT THE FIRST TECH WAS UNSURE OF HIMSELF, AND THE SECOND ONE JUST WANTED TO SELL US A NEW FURNACE. WE CONTACTED ANOTHER COMPANY WHO EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT WAS WRONG, FIXED IT (WITHOUT REPLACING THE FURNACE) AND THE SYSTEM WORKED JUST FINE.

JOB 1: JEREMY WAS EXTREMELY PROMPT, CORDIAL, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. WHEN ALL OTHERS PUT ME ON A "EMERGENCY" WAITING LIST FOR ALMOST A WEEK, CONTROL TECH WAS AT MY HOUSE IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR! REASONABLY PRICED, INCLUDES PREVENTIVELY MAINTENANCE ANNUAL PLAN FOR MY FURNACE AND A/C UNITS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! JOB 2: THE SERVICE TECH WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND QUICK WITH HIS WORK. WE HAD TO HAVE A PART REPLACED, HE EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS AND SHOWED US THE OLD ONE THAT HAD GONE BAD. IT WAS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. THANK YOU!!

EXCELLENT SERVICE. EXCELLENT RESPONSE. THE SALESMAN CALLED BACK ON A SATURDAY MORNING, WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL IN EXPLAINING THE DIFFERENT PRODUCTS, INCLUDING THE ENERGY RATINGS. THIS GUY WAS VERY TRUSTWORTHY. HE WAS HONEST TO TELL ME THAT ANOTHER COMPANY WAS GIVING ME A GREAT PRICE ON A UNIT AND THAT HE COULDN'T MATCH IT. I REALLY APPRECIATED IT AND HE WAS VERY ETHICAL ABOUT THE SITUATION.

POLITE, FRIENDLY, PROMPT, AND HELPFUL DESCRIBE THE COMBINED HEATING/AC MAINTENANCE MAN WHO CAME TO ENSURE OUR SYSTEMS WERE READY FOR USE. HE ALSO SUGGESTED CUTTING DOWN SHRUBS AROUND THE A/C TO HELP INCREASE AIR FLOW & CLEANED EVERYTHING UP. WE RECEIVED A SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT DISCOUNT WITHOUT ASKING ON THE A/C GAS WHICH NEEDED TO BE ADDED TO OUR SYSTEM FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE. HE ALSO FOUND INSULATION IN THE BLOWER WHEEL OF THE AC & REMOVED IT. VERY THOROUGH.

ALWAYS ON TIME AND PROBLEM SOLVERS WITHOUT CHARGING ME EXTRA. FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS HONEST. WE USE THEM IN THE SPRING TOO. WE PAY TO HAVE THEM COME OUT TWICE A YEAR BUT STILL HAD TO PAY FOR THE FILTER.
