This was a great experience! From the owner of the company coming to my house to make sure I understood the scope of the work to be performed to two wonderful technicians that did the work. Of course, I called them when it was 90 degrees outside to come repair my A/C system and they were back-logged for 2 weeks with work. But instead of them making me sweat it out, they send someone over FREE OF CHARGE to get my old system running until they could come out and do the replacement work. That is called going above and beyond, so as far as I am concerned, they have a customer for life.

They did what they said they were going to do.

Called for estimate on furnace and a/c replacement. Came promptly and furnished estimate timely. Did not use because we found a better deal elsewhere.

I am very pleased with their service.

Brian did the air duct cleaning. He was professional, did a good job, and was friendly.

Brent and Jeff did an excellent job with the installation. Brent the technician figured how to work the pipes a better way to work in the space provided. The unit is very quiet and I am very satisfied with their work and they were also very professional.

Found the company on Angie's List servicing the "entire area" , I live in Mooresville which is listed in their service area on their web site as is Martinsville. I called to schedule service gave my address to two separate people, discussed what I needed to have done. discussed a price, was on hold twice. It was not till we were scheduling a time that I was told that I was not in their service area. He didn't care that their web site said that I was.

Jim called and asked if he could come a little earlier for his appointment since he was running ahead of schedule. I said that would be great. Jim was very knowledgeable and we discussed my needs for a new system. Jim also had his lap top computer with him and he was able to give me a printed contract with the exact prices to be charged. A big advantage over the other guys. No suspense on the cost. The only reason we did not give Control Tech our business was because we were more familier with another brand of heat pumps.

They are very professional, always on time. They are very responsive, I would highly recommend them. I have been using them for about 2 years. I'm very pleased with their service.

I received very high gas bills for December 2008 and January 2009. Randy at Control Tech told me where to find heating degree data on the internert. I used that data to calculate expected gas useage based on how cold it was. I complained to Citizen's Gas that useage was much higher than expected. The found an outside leak at the meter. Their original offer was a $25.00 adjustment. After filing a formal complaint using the heating degree data, I finally received a bill that suggests a$590.00 adjustment.

The most important thing is they'll give you a time that they'll be there, not a time frame AND they come out exactly at that time. The workers that come out are always very nice and helpful. They are also very knowledgeable and seem to know a lot about their work. I will absolutely continue to use them.

Provided a thorough inspection, and quoted multiple options. Very informative, no pressure sales process. Installed and walked us through the new system. Very clean and professional crew.

The installation was very professional and all in all was very professional. My furnace was out and it was a very cold period. They even provided efficient space heaters until the installation was completed. They also informed me of a $200 rebate with the gas company because of the furnace model I chose. I wouldn't have known about that had they not shared it with me.

Their technician, David, that comes out is just great. He is very professional and friendly. I babysit for my grandson and while he was sleeping, David worked very quietly around him which I appriciated. I will continue to use them.

My furnace went out on a Tuesday night. Wednesday morning, I called around for estimates. On Wednesday afternoon, Jim from ControlTech was able to make it over, despite much of the city being snowed in. I'd say he's passionate about HVAC and Lennox, as he REALLY likes talking about all of it. He took his time sizing up the situation and made some suggestions, which he explained through. And all this was fine with me because I like knowing details before getting involved in something of this size. Finally, Jim put together several options with a pretty thorough breakdown, then wrapped them up into a proposal form with 6 final options, 6 final prices, and instructions to "circle the one you want". Easy. After weighing the proposals I'd collected, I made my decision to go with ControlTech because they seemed to have a good reputation, they serviced my old furnace for years, and their price was easily the best for similar equipment. Also, they were able to start the next day instead of the next week. The guys that came out to install the furnace were pretty fellows. The one that I talked with the most said he'd installed thousands of furnaces. I thought that seemed unlikely but later he said he'd been doing this since he was 12, and started by cutting and threading black pipe for his dad. He did seem to know what he was doing. The two of them were pretty quick, pretty clean about things, and pretty respectful of me and my house. The heat was back on that day and scheduled to finish the AC the following week. The only issues that come up turned out to be non-events, thanks to both of us being flexible. Overall, it was kind of interesting working from home while these guys were here. Sure, I learned a little bit about HVAC and my house. But what I remember the most was being at the computer and hearing one of them say to the other "I see bubbles coming out of your manifold". Hey, at least it wasn't spinach in his teeth.

No complaints, they have been exceptional. They are very high quality service.

I feel that they were creative with the installation because I don't have a drain. They did good work and I recommended them to a neighbor.

We called Control Tech first thing in the morning the day after our heat pump began to fail. Allen scheduled Jim Bridges to come to the house at 10A and he came right on time. Jim was extremely professional, thorough, and provided a very detailed explanation and written estimate for what we needed after discussing options / preferences with me and my wife. The quote was competitive ($6950) and Jim thoroughly pointed out the advantages of Control Tech and the equipment they would use without being the least bit pushy. Although we decided to go with another company, due to my friendship with the owners and a somewhat better price, I would highly recommend Control Tech and will consider them for future needs based on this experience. It was a tough decision to not use Control Tech after the impression Jim left with us.

They have come to my house twice. In both instances they were here in less than 45 minutes. Amazing response time. They were friendly, accurate, honest and informative. I asked many questions, and they were patient answering all of them. I signed up for the maintenance plan and saved a lot of money that way, plus they'll do routine cleaning and keep my system in top order. I will stick with them as my HVAC people as long as I am in this area!

It went great! With our air conditioner, they gave us a years free maintenance.
