Tony was not only on-time, but called to see if it was OK to come early! My central A/C was not working on a hot, hot day and I said SURE, you are welcome to come early! He diagnosed the problem (loose fittings or nipples on my freon supply line) , fixed the problem, saw 2 other potential trouble areas, quoted and fixed them, too, all before his originally scheduled appointment time! He was great! Polite! Explaioned everything, and why the two other things (lack of a ground wire! and lack of a furnace filter brace!) were bad things and really should be corrected. I never felt like he was trying to get "extra" work, I felt like he was treating me like family and wanted to make sure I was protected.

I thought it was great. Everything seems to be looking good. They come twice a year for service. I also have a heat pump that they service as well.

Two men completed the job in 2 days which was what they predicted. One of the men was actually a college intern who made a few mistakes like try to level the A/C concrete pad with a piece of a log he found on the property instead of using sand which they did not have on the truck. I pointed this out to the man in charge, and he corrected the problem the next day. They did a good job of lifting the A/C unit over the shrubbery to protect the bushes. The furnace was installed with very little mess, and everything was cleaned up. A water line to the humidifier was slightly leaking, but the installer pointed it out to me and said that someone would fix it with another part. He didn't have it on his truck. Overall, they did a great job.

They were great. They were nice, reliable, and on time.

We had very heavy rain and suddenly had a leak from a pipe in our utility room. This has happened once before and we called Control Tech who came and inspected the problem. We had used them in the past and we had a great experience with them. They stated it was something they could not fix and that we needed a roofing company which they recommended. They did not charge for this visit and were very helpful.

C-T was very prompt in replying to our call for help during a very hot time in the summer.They worked us into their schedule quickly since our system was completely down and not functioning. I would rate them very high in responsiveness and service.

Everything went well. They are an excellent company.

Everything is always great after their service, they are promp and efficient and reasonable, I will use them for my haet and ac for as long as they are in business and i'm alive

They did a fantastic job! I have had a friend use them as well and they did great work. They were on-time and were here for a full day. Everything is still working properly with all of my units.

The consultant, Jim, did a thorough inspection of our home and our heating/a.c. needs. He provided 3 levels of equipment to choose from along with complete details of what would be done and the price. On installation day, Adam and George arrived on time and began the tear out of the old equipment. They did the installation of the furnace, air conditioner, repositioned the outside unit to a different location, and ran all necessary piping and wiring. At the end of the first day, the a.c. was running, all debris was hauled away and the location was very clean. On the second day, they installed the venting through the roof for the high efficiency equipment and completed the work remaining in a timely fashion. Our installers were completely professional and courteous and easy to work with. They worked efficiently without much discussion and were very thorough. A week later, Jim returned to follow up with us. He had all the rebate and tax forms ready for us to complete and guided us through that process. Control Tech was highly recommended to us by two different friends and they more than lived up to the high praise.

The maintenance agreement is $160 a year. I have been using them for at least 5 years and I also use them to take care of my clients for me. He was here when he promised and on time to the minute and was very efficient and respectful of my property both inside and out. They do a very thorough job and they are local.

It went fine; they were very, very professional. They came out and measured the house. We actually had a bigger AC than we needed. They let us know we didn't need one that big--so that was less money for me. They fixed somethings under the furnace and re-did my junction box without even charging me.

I shopped and compared several heating / ac firms and selected Control Tech. They were competitive on pricing and on the first visit they diagnosed and repaired my central ac unit.

AWFUL experience from start to finish. The tech who came out rushed through an explanation of manual damper system he installed that day, and didn't complete wrapping runs with insulation, saying he'd return in a couple of days to do so. He never came back. I had to call the "comfort specialist," Brad Odom, who sold us the solution of manual dampers to tell him it didn't work. He proceeded not to come out when he said he would, and when he did finally make it after I called again, he threw his office manager under the bus by blaming her for not scheduling it properly. The second time he came out, he brought Alan Winters, the company's owner with him. Mr. Winters was able to find the real problem that Brad Odom missed. Despite this, Mr. Odom arrogantly maintained that his solution was a good one, even though we were getting no heat upstairs. Mr. Winters appeared to bend over backwards to show that he wanted to make things right, but when we gave him another chance, his office manager didn't know how to help us finance a second system. He then proceeded to blame us for sending our application via mail, even though that is what he gave us. It wasn't until after the fact that he told us he had to collect our info before we could financing. He was clueless about how to handle it, basically, which is not good for the owner of a company to be. We decided to go with Brewer Heating and Cooling, and Isaac Brewer was less expensive, extremely knowledgeable, and we haven't had a problem since. Control Tech wasted about 5 months and cost us $600. I'll never use them again.

Our furnace was out Sunday morning and a tech came right over. He was unable to repair it and a part needed to be ordered because it was an obscure, old furnance and the part was not readily available. In the meantime we met with a salesman to discuss options for a new furnace. Control Tech got the old furnace working so that we wait until after February 1st to install the new one, thus qualifying for the federal energy assistance rebate. The salesman was in touch throughout the process and even came back after installation to be sure everything was fine.

We have used them before there was an Angie's List. They are incredibly responsive. They are always on time and always on budget. They have done work for my mother-in-law as well. There was an inadvertent problem with a repair job they did and they even wiped out the cost of the original repair. We would not use anybody else. We don't price around; we just use them and their price has always been fair. They are very professional.

Installation was scheduled promptly. Technicians arrived on time and completed entire job 1/2 day ahead of schedule. Very professionally done.

Everything was done right starting with Mindy taking my initial call; Tim Holmes checking what system would be best for my home, giving me estimates, answering my many questions, and following up after installation; the installation itself, including cleanup; and the follow up to make sure I have documents for rebates, tax credits, and warranties. Every step was done on time, thoroughly, professionally, and with attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

Their price was pretty good. I liked the quality of the work as well. I was satisfied with their service.

Two solid days of work for a 2 man crew. All went well..

The entire installation process was good. Jeremy and Adam were professional, friendly, easy to talk to, and explained any questions I had during the install. Two thermostats were also put in and even though Jeremy programmed them for me, they are easy to use. These furnaces are so efficient we've kept the temperature on 67-68 degrees during the day. They also replaced PVC piping. They cleaned up after themselves every day (they were here 3 days). Al and Brad came out for the final inspection and for us to sign rebate forms that are currently being offered from the utility companies and answer any questions we had. The inspection passed and we are very comfortable and happy. We highly recommend them. Their service is impecable.

The installation went very well. The team they had installing the unit did a very professional job in routing the PVC pipe and getting everything hooked up properly. I am a (picky) engineer when it comes to things like this, and Control Tech exceeded my expectations. After the installation I had trouble with the new programmable thermostat, so I called Control Tech. Gabe came out later that same day and fixed the programming issue, then he called me at my office to explain what he had done. He even gave me his cell phone number to call back if I had any more issues. I liked that; very professional. A week after the installation, Brad came back out to meet with me to see if I had any questions and to have me sign all of the energy rebate paperwork, which he had completed for me. Again, another nice touch. I have since recommended this company to several friends. I would use them again for any equipment, and plan on using them for my maintenance. This is one of the best companies I've gotten from Angie's List, and I've been a member for many, many years.

They never showed up. I called 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time and they said the technician was running late and would be there in 20 minutes. Over an hour after he was supposed to be there I just called them back and canceled because I had something I needed to do. I had already taken a 1/2 day off work to be there for the appointment. They were nice when I talked to them, but they never showed up.

We knew the furnace had some issues when we bought our new house. Control Tech came out quickly and assessed the problem areas. There was some lag time as they waited on parts to come in, but overall we were impressed. I felt a little pressured to sign a maintenance agreement, but when we looked it over we decided it was probably the way to go.

When the service technician came out to perform routine maintenance, he said I needed a new regulator because his instruments showed I was getting too much gas pressure into the house. After he installed the new part, he reported that there still was too much gas pressure. He told me to call the gas company. I did. When they came out and tested the heating system, I was told everything was normal. I called Control Tech to report the discrepancy and asked for a reason between the two reports. The installation mgr came out and told me that the pipe leading from the regulator to the furnace was too small. Even though the furnace is 10 years old and had caused no previous problem, I let Control Tech install a new pipe. After that service tech left, I smelled gas. I called the gas company who came out and confirmed that there was a gas leak in the work done by the technician earlier in the day. The owner of the company was very nice as he listened to my report of the terrible work ethic and workmanship.. He said he would talk to his managers, acknowledging there was no excuse for such poor quality. I am submitting this report because of the poor quality of the service regardless of the owner's follow up..
