Hi [Member Name Removed] Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. The Cinder Box takes great pride in our grade A satisfaction rating with Angie’s List. I regret that your rating displayed a less than Grade A satisfactory experience. I have researched the date-of-service invoice for your inspection/sweep services provided by The Cinder Box. Our Chimney Sweep Institute of America (CSIA) Certified inspector completed a (National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Level I inspection, sweep, and repaired a crack. Additionally, you were provided with a written copy of all findings and recommendations of additional services to ensure your fireplace is within code and ready for continued use. I am particularly concerned about the delay in response time of your feedback. As noted in your response, an inspection from the roofline up was not completed. A Level I inspection does not include a check of the chimney from the roofline up. We provide that service as a courtesy. This courtesy service is weather dependent for the safety of our technicians. We have a firm commitment to client satisfaction. I will be contacting you personally to discuss scheduling a time to come back to your home to again inspect your fireplace.
