Overall I think they were very professional and did a good job.

The work was well done, reasonably priced, and installers were polite and cleaned up on completion of work.

On August 8, 2006 the sales manager of the Indiana (a division of Kansas Basement & Foundation Repair) came to look at our water leak; he was here for about 2 hours and gave us quite a sales speech. He indicated that we had a crack in our basement wall and that it would cost $885 to patch it. He said the patch would only be temporary because it will soon crack again; in intervals of 6 feet. In order to prevent it they would have to install underground anchors to give our basement walls additional support. This would make the cost $2,300. Keep in mind that this wall is in the finished area of the basement, it was covered with drywall and the concrete basement wall was not visible. He also recommend that we install anchors in the opposite basement wall (exposed concrete wall without any signs of cracking) which would bring the price up to $4,660.

We called Keith at Indiana Foundation at the recommendation of our landscaper. The appointment was scheduled promptly. Keith arrived 15 minutes early and called from his cell phone to let us know he was at our home. He was a pleasure to work with and incredibly knowledgeable. Very customer focused. The leak we called him out to look at had been fixed by rerouting an external downspout away from the house. Keith surveyed our entire basement and discovered 2 cracks in the concrete walls with water pouring in. Work was scheduled and completed on time. Our floors were covered and they cleaned up beautifully. Extremely pleased with the entire experience from start to finish and will definitely call them again and recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Keith is a very personable salesman. I very briefly described our concern about moisture in the crawl space and our desire to improve that situation. He immediately wanted to examine the exterior of the house. He found a crack on a wall and said that we have a foundation settling problem. But he couldn't find any evidence that indicated that to be the case. On the other side of the house, he found another crack and immediately said that also was foundation settling, even though no other evidence was found. I have since contacted the builder and two masons who agree that they doubt that the foundation has settled. Then we went into the crawl space. His recommendations there made sense to me. But his solution is VERY expensive, a commercial dehumidifier which I found on the internet for about 1/2 of his price. I felt Keith was too aggressive to sell and didn't validate his conclusions.

Dave Bergquist was very professional to work with and explained their approach and system to me thoroughly. I did not go with their bid as they were significantly more expensive and required me to perform more preparation work which the other company included such as moving bushes.

They came and gave us an honest estimate that all we needed was a better dehumidifier, as opposed to $7000 work of drain work. Nice to know their is honest folks in the industry!

They gave me a $100 AL discount. They were very professional and easy to schedule. I had no problems.

This isn't a sophisticated industry and the sales presentation reflected it. Cost was in line with 2 other quotes, but not lowest. They are unique in offering services to treat the "disease" and not just the symptoms represented by a wet basement, but we were selling the house and didn't need that scope of work.

The work was completed in a timely manner and within the price quote as promised. The basement has remained dry since they have done the work. With all of the rain we have experienced recently, the system that was installed has had a true test. The house was constructed in the early 1930s. The basement is a concrete block structure and the drainage around the house allowed water to seep through the cement joints. The seepage has been controlled and the walls no longer retaining moisture.

After contacting 4 companies on crawl spaces and 2 on heating and air, one heating co. found some ductwork that needed to be sealed. Another one said nothing was wrong. One said we needed $11.000.00 to fix the problem. One never came out. Another came out but never received an estimate. The last one, Indiana Foundation Service, did find the answer which we are very thankful. Mick Keller, the specialist they sent out, found that the problem was due to the gutters that drained into tiles running through part of our crawl space. Over a period of years, these tiles had developed cracks in them. I am happy to say after three years the problem is solved. We are very appreciative of Indiana Foundation Service and their honesty. They also did not charge us anything. The first company wanted to charge us $11.000.00 and the problem still would not have been solved.

They were punctual and polite. They explain things really well. They do what they say they are going to do. My only problem with them is that they had several workers who did not speak english, and therefore, it was hard to communicate with them.

Salesman was very knowledgeable and was not "high pressure". He wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the suggestions he made, and the work to be performed. The installation crew was polite and got the job done in 2 days. They cleaned up thoroughly. Overall, I am very pleased, and would hire this company again. I got estimates for the work from 3 companies, and this was far and away the best quote for almost identical services. The other two companies wanted to install new pump at a pretty high price. IN Foundation Service said a new pump was not necessary since the one I had was only 2 years old and working properly. One company was not willing to remove the old plastic liner before putting a new one down.

They were very professional and they did the work in bad weather. They did an excellent job. There was a little bit of a mix up on the bid. We contacted them and they fixed it.

Indiana Foundation came out and said that they do not do this work. They were very friendly.

Very pleased with the result. The basement is dry, even after all the rain this weekend. The entire crew worked for two solid days and did a nice job cleaning up once the job was finished.

Estimate was prompt and work was done on schedule. Overall performance was very good.

On time as planned. Efficient hard workers. With good attitudes. completed the job as expected. Price was the lower estimate. Overall I was very satisfied with the work completed

The person providing estimates should spend more time listening to the needs of his potential client, instead of trying to sell unnecessary services. We would have used this company if he had not attempted to sell us what three others said was "completely unnecessary".

Although, we had a very rocky start, the general manager, John Clark, came out addressed all of the problems and worked with us to solve them. We are now happy with the work performed by Indiana Foundation Service. Thank you to John Clark for working with us on this problem.

Mr. Clark was extremely helpful in answering questions about the foundation of my house. He suggested several methods to impeded water entering the crawl space. Very honest, helpful and professional!!

From the office staff to the salesman to the workmen who completed the job - all were knowledgeable, courteous and professional. The workmen did an excellent clean job which is reflective of the whole company experience I had. Every contact I had with them was at the date and time agreed upon. My experience is that this is a very well run honest company with excellent employees and reasonable prices.

I did not grade this company in terms of price or quality because I do not feel qualified to make a judgment in these areas. As for my experience with them, I can say that they were very friendly, helpful, and understanding. And all in all, it was a good experience.
