I called with a specific bed that I wanted and the owner knew exactly what I was talking about and was able to quote me a price and tell me about when it would come in. We highly recommend this store!

This store and its owerners are amazing.  My wife and I can't say enough good things about Ric Jones.  We wish every store ran and operated like Ric, his wife, and son.  My wife and i are expecting our first child...let the confusion of, what cribs to buy and where, begin!!!!! Fortunately, we found Decor 4 Kids in Noblesville.  I will only shop here for now on.  The process begain with Ric spending several hours with us--asking many questions about quality of cribs and furniture.  Ric was able to answer any question we had and even took the time to educates us on all the standards and requirements for baby furniture.  Our heads were definitely spinning and RIc was so patient with us.  He never once acted annoyed or made us felt like he didn't care.
Once we finally picked out a nursurey set, RIc was willing and able to negotiate price and throw in some extra inscentives to buy.  From extra furniture to free delivery Ric made it impossible not to buy from him.  Once we decided on the set we wanted, and that was a second trip to the store taking even more of his time, RIc assured us that if any problems arrised or we changed our minds he would take care of it.  He never forced us or hurried us into making a decision. 
Just when we thought everything was going great, we had an issue with the baby room not being ready and RIc having our furiture in and ready to deliver.  Thank goodnes RIc was willing to hold our furniture in his warehouse unitl we were ready, or we would have been in trouble.  Ric just said call us when we were ready for delivery and it was no big deal.  I want to say he held on to our furniture for almost a month.  Once we were finally ready, RIc's son, who is in charge of warehouse and delivery, came to our house with one other worker.  They carried the furniture up stairs and put the furniture together.  They even aksed my wife where exactly she wanted the differnent items located. 
We really enjoyed our experience with Ric and Decor 4 Kids through out the whole process.  We can only hope that they will be around for our future kids and family needs.  If only more retailers and mangagers had this type of excellent customer service, this world would be a better place!

After being frustrated with the lack of quality seen at some of the big box stores, we sought out the expertise of a dealer who specializes in helping first-time parents like ourselves.  Rick and his crew were very attentive in walking us through all of the products in their beautiful store, showing the various build quality differences, features, fabrics etc.  We wanted good quality and were willing to pay a big extra for the help that they gave us.
They even had a scratch-n-dent area that we looked through next door; some bargains on top quality products were available.
We read up on things and returned to the store to make our purchase, arranging for delivery and confirming the details.  We knew to expect some lead time, but with the baby on the way, we were a bit nervous on the timeline.  When the appointed day came and went, we had to follow up on the status a few times over the following 2-3 weeks.  They were responsive to our requests, even when in some cases there was no information to be had while the items were in transit.
We got the long-awaited call and the items were delivered as expected, to our garage.  We opted to unbox and carry up ourselves to save some money, but honestly, most people should opt for the in-house delivery/assembly, as this stuff was HEAVY.
We love our set and found zero dings or scratches, which is remarkable for furniture coming from overseas.  Every day we look at our set and enjoy it.  I'd definitely return for future needs!

I purchased a few decor items for my childrens' rooms.  One item I purchased was a rug that was out of stock.  Since I lived ~30 minutes away - they offered to deliver it to my home when it came in the next time they were in the area (I have purchased from them in the past).  Ric actually personally delivered it to my home. 

They have a great selection of furniture, bedding and decor items - pieces you can't find at other stores in the area.  High on my list in terms of customer service and selection.

We worked directly with Ric and he was very knowledgeable and gave us some great insight at some of the furniture that we were looking at which really helped us make the most informed and best decsion.  In addtion he also worked with us on pricing and put together a fantastic package deal on our furniture.  We would definitely use Decor 4kids again.

We purchased our daughters nursery collection from this store. The products they carrier are of a higher quality than those in the major baby super stores with only a slightly higher price tag. The customer service alone is worth the higher price not to mention the higher quality of the products they sell. They were lower than the prices I could even find online for the same product. We also ended up buying a crib skirt on clearance and came back months later to add to our nursery set with a bookcase. I won't even bother looking anywhere else when it comes time to shop for another baby. We truly enjoyed our experiences here and would like to see this kind of place stay open!

Ric is the owner of Decor 4 kids and has been in the child care furniture business for his entire career. If you have a passion for supporting locally owned business and want a knowledgeable person to assist you with the process of buying stuff for your child, you should without a doubt head to Noblesville and meet Ric. He did not steer us one way or another with any of our decisions and was so helpful with use, functionality, color options, etc. My wife absolutely loved him. Could you get cheaper stuff at Babies R Us or Buy Buy Baby, absolutely, but the quality is very high, their selection of feeding chairs is unmatched, and Ric is a resource for first time parents.

We purchased the bedroom furniture from Decor 4 Kids in 2005. The bedframe is in our guest bedroom and has had very little use. In the summer of 2007, we noticed that the stain on the headboard was peeling. We contacted the store many times beginning in August 2007 seeking resolution. At their request, we sent digital pictures showing the peeling areas. After calling several times, they finally forwarded the pictures to the manufacturer 2 months later. The manufacturer responded and claimed that based on the pictures, we caused the damage. Decor 4 Kids and the manufacturer refuse to send anyone out to actually inspect the headboard and replace it. I am extremely disappointed that Decor 4 Kids and the manufacturer will not stand by their product, one they were all too eager to sell. I have never asked for a refund, I simply want them to replace the headboard. I will never purchase anything from Decor 4 Kids or the manufacturer again.

2ND TIME WE HAVE USED THEIR SERVICES (ORDERED ADDITIONAL PIECES OF FURNITURE FOR A SET). THEY HAVE A GREAT SELECTION OF FURNITURE AND EXCELLENT QUALITY THAT I DIDN'T FIND ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE AREA. WE HAD SOME PROBLEMS WITH DELIVERY AND WITH DAMAGE TO THE DESK BUT RICK (OWNER) WORKED WITH US TO MAKE SURE WE WERE SATISFIED.

WE SUBMITTED AN UNFAVORABLE REPORT ON 11/23/04 BECAUSE OF ISSUES WITH OUR ORDER FROM CHILD CRAFT. MR JONES WORKED W/ CHILD CRAFT TO GET US THE GUARD RAIL NEEDED TO TURN OUR CRIB INTO A TODDLER BED FREE OF CHARGE. HE EVEN DELIVERED IT HIMSELF. IT WAS A NICE GESTURE IN LIGHT OF A VERY UNFORTUNATE SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES. WE APPRECIATED THE EXTRA EFFORT AND ATTEMPT TO KEEP THE CUSTOMER HAPPY.

OUR EXPERIENCE WAS VERY UNSATISFACTORY. SHELLI PROVED TO BE VERY UNORGANIZED. SHE CALLED AND CANCELLED OR DELAYED VISITS TO OUR HOUSE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE WINDOW TREATMENT HAD SEVERAL ISSUES REGARDING THE OVERALL LOOK AND FIT WITH THE WINDOW, MOST OF THESE WERE THE RESULT OF A POOR DESIGN. THE WORKMANSHIP WAS DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE. THIS WAS FOR A NURSERY AND IT WAS NOT COMPLETED UNTIL THE BABY WAS 2 MONTHS OLD, EVEN THOUGH WE STARTED THE PROCESS VERY EARLY IN THE PREGNANCY.

WE ORDERED THE FURNITURE A MONTH AFTER I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT AND DIDN'T GET IT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. THEY TOLD US THAT THEY NO LONGER HAD THE FURNITURE THAT WE ORDERED, BUT THEY DID UPGRADE US TO A HIGHER PRICED PRODUCT. I HAD PROBLEMS GETTING RETURN CALLS. THEY WERE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. THE WINDOW TREATMENTS WERE DELIVERED WITH SPOTS ON THEM AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD DRY CLEAN THEM, BUT WE NEVER HEARD BACK. THEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD MAKE NEW CURTAINS, WE HEARD BACK THREE MONTHS LATER. SHE SAYS THAT SHE LEFT MESSAGES, BUT WE HAVE GOTTEN NONE. WE HAVE CALLER ID AND AN ANSWERING MACHINE.

1ST PURCHASE: THEY HELD THE CRIB FOR ME FOR SEVERAL MONTHS WHILE I WAS MOVING. THEY DID A GREAT JOB WITH THE DELIVERY, AND AS WELL WHEN THEY ASSEMBLED IT. WE USED THEM AGAIN TO MOVE THE CRIB WHEN WE MOVED, DOING A GREAT JOB THEN TOO. 2ND PURCHASE: WE MADE SEVERAL VISITS TO VIEW DIFFERENT COLORS, STYLES, ETC. THE SALESPEOPLE WERE HELPFUL AND VERY PATIENT AS WE CONSIDERED DIFFERENT PIECES AND MADE A DECISION AFTER 4 VISITS TO THE STORE. IN FACT, WE WERE EVEN ABLE TO CHOOSE FUTURE BED FOR THE NURSERY FOR WHEN OUR CHILD OUTGROWS HIS CRIB, BECAUSE OF THE WELL COORDINATED DISPLAYS AT THE STORE. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE BUYING BABY FURNITURE AT DECOR 4 KIDS. I DIDN'T GET ANY HARD SELL THAT I HAD EXPERIENCED ELSEWHERE BEFORE I FOUND THIS STORE. THE FOLKS ARE INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT MY NEEDS FOR THE NURSERY AND MEETING THEM. DELIVERY WAS ON TIME, AND THE DELIVERY FOLKS WERE COURTEOUS.

MOST OF THE PROBLEM WAS NOT THE FAULT OF DECOR 4 KIDS, MOST OF THE PROBLEM WAS A RESULT OF BUYING FURNITURE FROM CHILDCRAFT. WE RECEIVED THE CRIB 2 MONTHS LATE AND NEVER RECEIVED THE DRESSING TABLE. WE HAD TO CONTACT CHILDCRAFT DIRECTLY, JUST TO FIND OUT THEY HAD NO INTENTION OF FILLING THE ORDER AND THAT THE ITEM HAD BEEN DISCONTINUED. DECOR 4 KIDS ATTEMPTED TO FIX THE PROBLEM BY REPLACING THE ITEMS, BUT BY THAT TIME WE HAD PURCHASED OTHER ITEMS TO MATCH AND STARTED TO DECORATE. STARTING OVER WAS NOT AN OPTION, IT WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE THE BABY. THEY WERE ONLY SEMI-PROACTIVE IN CONTACTING US ABOUT THE PROBLEM. WE HAD TO CONTACT THEM. WE WERE THE ONES THAT FOUND OUT THAT CHILDCRAFT WAS NEVER GOING TO FILL THE ORDER. I'D BE WARY OF USING DECOR 4 KIDS AND WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM CHILDCRAFT.

VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL.

WE FOUND TWO PARTS MISSING. THEY WERE RESPONSIVE IN GETTING US THE PARTS. WHEN WE TRIED TO REASSEMBLE AGAIN, THE SCREWS WERE STRIPPED AND WE COULDN'T ASSEMBLED THE BED. I CALLED THE NEXT DAY, AND THEY CAME OUT THAT DAY AND BROUGHT NEW PARTS, ASSEMBLED IT THEMSELVES, AND DID SEVERAL SMALL EXTRAS THAT REALLY IMPRESSED US. REALLY WENT OVER AN ABOVE OUR EXPECTATIONS. VERY IMPRESSED! PLEASANT, PROFESSIONAL.

VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF. UNIQUE ITEMS AT COMPETITIVE PRICE POINTS. WONDERFUL ALTERNATIVE TO ALL THE CHAIN STORES FOR DECORATING CHILDREN'S ROOMS.
