Ashpaugh Electric has done our home electrical repairs over the years. This most recent visit underscored our confidence in the company. The electrician, Steve, was professional and efficient in his repair work. I was happy that shimming the fan housing resolved the vibrations and the fan did not need replacement. Additionally we discussed the low air flows of the two bathroom exhaust fans. Steve reduced the lengths of the exhaust venting for two bathroom fans which should improve the exhaust air flow. Steve had the necessary replacement receptacle and dimmer switch with him so that all work was finished with one trip.

Quick to schedule and Steve as punctual and very helpful in explaining the replacement.

He listened to me and was able to find the place where another contractor had performed work which was not to code, he corrected this issue

Greg and Cole worked tirelessly over two days to complete all of the work. We admired their professionalism and the good cheer with which they attacked their many tasks. The results were just as good as we had hoped they would be—excellent.

This is the third time I have used Ashpaugh Electric and have been extremely happy each time. Steve and Micah showed up right on time after several e-mail notified me that they were on their way. They asked a lot of questions to ensure they knew exactly what I need and where everything was to be placed. Their work was clean and correct...can't ask for more than that.

They came out fixed the problem and even caulked some holes that were made previously. Something I was very appreciative of.

After a truly miserable building experience with Estridge, this company was like a breath of fresh air. Seriously. The owner actually showed up in a suit to give us an estimate. We got more good information and attention in the hour he spent with us going over issues than we did in our entire almost 12 months with Estridge. The two electricians who have provided the actual services are *beyond* incredible. Greg and Cole were on time, did an amazing job, and cleaned up after themselves. And with them spending so much time in our house, I really appreciated how personable, genuine and just plain likeable they both were. I would welcome both of them into my house any time, and honestly cannot say enough good things about them or the company as a whole. And just to be clear - this company was the *third* we've had in the house. In the construction and housing industry, unfortunately, finding a contractor of this quality is like finding a unicorn. The owner outlined every single charge before the work started, and every question we had about cost was answered honestly and accurately so there were no surprises. Given the quality of services, we got a bargain.

Employee determined it was the electrical line and Ashpaugh called the electric company and they came out in an hour. Ashpaugh's employees are very knowledgeable and are very courteous.

The good news is that they fixed the issue. I will say that my mother is the one that meet them at my home to preform the work. Her comments is that they were not professionally dressed (no uniform or at least identifying the company. There overall grooming was lacking and I'm sorry to say they did not smell good -- not from having worked, but lack of cleaniness. I only share this because I think it important the the company consider the impressions and what people would want from service people in their home. She said their hands did not look clean -- and I cringed at the thought of their touching my cream colored furniture. They were having trouble finding the issue - and it was only after my mother pointed where the items that tied into the switch did they find it. It would seem obvious to me that when you know it is a two or three way switch that you would check all the the outlets associated with those -- but they were taking about completely separate switches and outlets. Not sure why it was necessary to have two electricians - and be charged for such? So they were here for under an hour -- the part was probably $5.00 or less that you could get at Lowes, and my total charge was $219.00 To me outrageous. Still grateful the work is done and hopefully I won't experience any further issues -- but I personally would not use again.

The under-cabinet fixtures I had purchased were not suitable. They told me what I needed and where I could find them. They went to do another service call while I procured the correct fixtures, then returned and installed them. They easily repaired the bathroom fan & replaced the bulb, and offered advice about a possible re-hanging of a chandelier. Steve and Micah could not have been more helpful! It was a great service to me that they could give me the chance to get the correct fixtures and still have the work done today. They were polite, quiet, fast, efficient, and neat. It could not have been a more positive experience! I nominate them and Ashpaugh Electric for my "Page of Happiness" if you still do that!

The process overall went well. One of their workers came out to draft an estimate for a fee and we received it after a week. Unfortunately, what we were asking to perform was a little bit more complex than what we thought it would be. The owner Brian called me to follow up after the estimate and even offered solutions to all of my concerns which was great! At the end, we decided to hold off on the project due to the complexity of the work. Brian gave us our money back and was very understanding of our decision. From beginning to end, you could tell that Ashpaugh Electric cares about their clients and reputation throughout the Indy area. Although they actually didn't perform any work for us, I would recommend them to anyone and would consider them myself for future projects that I may have.

From start to finish, the provider was professional. Brian, the CEO, came out at NO cost to me to do an on-site estimate. He was very detailed in his explanation of recommended work, as well as what would need to be done to meet codes. Brian and his team pulled all of the required permits and coordinated with the power company and city inspectors. The estimate was extremely detailed, down to the letter and I did not pay a penny more. The workers arrived promptly each day, and were very respectful of my property as well as my time. They finished the work a lot quicker than I expected and the work exceeded my expectations. Day one, the workers installed junction boxes in three rooms for ceiling fans. They connected the junction boxes to new switches, one for the light and one with a speed control for the fan. I provided the fans, which the workers assembled and installed. They also installed the two GFCI protected outlets in the garage. Total time on site: Approximately five hours. Day two, the workers installed a new service panel with a whole house surge protector. IPL arrived about 15 minutes after the workers and disconnected the power. The panel was installed and power restored within three hours. The inspector arrived as the workers finished connected the last circuit breakers. Total time on site: Approximately five hours. I will always call on Ashpaugh Electric for any electric needs. They were the least expensive and provided exemplary service.

Everything went very well. He tested everything to be sure it was all working properly. Then I tested both outlets and the oven/stove, and everything worked perfectly. Thank you, Dudley!
