Johnny and his employee did a great job. They were prompt, professional and pleasant to deal with. They delivered the wood to my back patio, which isn't very accessible because we have a walkout basement and sloped yard. The wood is of good quality and value. If I could have fit a full rick in my rack, I would have received a better price point and greater value. I am pleased overall and will do business with them again.

The gentleman who brought me the wood was courteous, respectful and kind. He stacked the wood for me and did it well. If the wood I bought does not last me the entire winter, I will definitely be calling 1prme again.

He called before he came, and was on time. We liked the quality of wood because it was clean and dry. Larger rick then other providers we have used in past. We would use them again.

He was very professional and kind. He stacked our firewood very neatly and insisted on cleaning up even though I told him there was no need. We will definitely be getting our firewood from 1Prime every year from here on out.

I called 1Prime Cut Firewood a few days before Thanksgiving and ordered a full rick of wood. Johnny was able to deliver the wood 2 days later. He showed up on time and he and his partner had it unloaded and stacked exactly where we wanted it in about 15-20 minutes (in the dark). The wood burns great - we will definitely order our firewood from 1 Prime Cut again!

I emailed Johnny directly through his Angie's List listing, and he responded right away. I picked a date for him to deliver 1/4 cord of wood for a new outdoor fireplace. He was able to come out so quickly that we didn't even have our new wood stack holder assembled yet, so I had to postpone his delivery. As soon as it was assembled, I contacted him again, and he came out within a day or so. We weren't in a rush, so I would bet that if someone needed wood right away, he would be able to accommodate them! Johnny and a helper arrived promptly (even a little early) and delivered and stacked the wood in the holder perfectly! Wood was quality and cut lengths were consistent. He was very personable, and even shared while stacking that he designs and manufactures quality wood holders which he began doing some years ago when he found that there aren't a great deal of good ones out there. Therefore, I would recommend any Angie's List members who are looking for a quality wood holder to hold your wood to call Johnny to see what he has available. I'm a New England girl, born and raised, and we couldn't even get mid-quality wood delivered and stacked for this price! Great value! Quality people!

He was very courteous. I message him through Angie's List and he responded almost immediately. He delivered the next day.

I first called on Thursday, 11/20 and left a message. The owner, Johnny Hensley, called me back within half an hour. He thoroughly explained the pricing and the size of the order and set an appointment -- yes! an actual appointment! -- to deliver the firewood the following Tuesday. He, himself (along with an assistant) delivered the order. They showed up on time, were very courteous, and stacked the full order where I wanted it. I've been burned by other firewood providers in the past. They say to leave a check in the door, they don't tell you when they're coming, then they short you on the order and hightail it out of there before you know it. My experience with 1Prime Cut was the complete opposite! I recommend them highly.

Johnnie answered my phone call and set up an appointment to deliver the wood this past Saturday. They arrived at my home at the time that he said he would come. They stacked it nicely and the wood burns really well

iThis job went very well, from start to finish. Johnny did an excellent job at a reasonable price and was prompt and professional, as well as very helpful and nice. I called him on a Friday morning. He returned my call within a couple hours or so, came to my house that same evening to look over the work needed, and did the work the next day. I had various questions and concerns, and he discussed all of those with me. I was also pleased that I was able to buy a well constructed wood rack from him. Johnny is knowledgeable, has the equipment needed to do the job and then does quality work. I highly recommend him.

Johnny was extremely responsive and called me back within an hour of my call on the weekend. He brought the wood out the following week. The wood is great quality, clean, and uniform. We've already had several fires and have been very pleased with the wood. I could not be more impressed with Johnny himself, as he called quickly to schedule and gave a couple updates on his schedule through the week. Additionally, my rack's dimensions were slightly less than 1.5 ricks. He pointed that out (as I never would have known) and gave my the full amount I purchased. I look forward to using him again.

Johnny brought a rick of wood and stacked half of it neatly on the rack in my backyard and the other half against my house, as I asked. He was on time, very polite and friendly. The wood looks great and is already burning nicely in my fireplace. I can see having Johnny deliver firewood to my home as part of getting ready for winter every year.

Johnny was very professional and helpful. We had a date set up for him to delivery my firewood however it was a rainy day. He called to say he could still bring it if I wanted but with the rain he was afraid it would make ruts in my yard and offered to bring another day. I agreed and he brought the wood out the following Saturday. He delivered just what he said he would. 1/2 cord of seasoned firewood. Johnny was able to show me exactly what the moisture level of the wood was via a meter. We will enjoy many evenings of a warm fire due to Johnny's expertise.

I called Johnny Hensley the owner of 1Prime .and left a message. I received a return call the same day I left my message and scheduled delivery for one rick of seasoned hardwood firewood. Johnny shows up on time at 7 pm with a smile on his face ready to deliver and stack the firewood. I ask Johnny where is your help and his reply is I have it covered Sir. What a hard working man. Contacted Johnny on 10/14/14 and left a message about purchasing firewood. He responded quickly to my message. He explained how his firewood is cut and dried for superior performance. Set up delivery date for Saturday the 18th. He called on Saturday and asked if he could deliver at an earlier time. He came and neatly stacked the wood and cleaned up the driveway. It has not been cold enough for our first fire to try the wood but if the wood is as good as the service I am sure it will be fantastic.

We are repeat customers of this company. Called in to order firewood; Johnny returned our call the next day and we setup a date for delivery. On the day of delivery, he was running behind schedule, but called to let us know so we were not left wondering. Very much appreciated. This is our 2nd or 3rd year in using them. The wood they deliver is actually seasoned and ready to burn. We have used others, but 1Prime is extremely consistent with seasoned wood and the size of the cut. They charge more than others in the business, but I appreciate the quality and have not hesitated in being a return customer. Going forward, they will be my go to provider for firewood.

I am very pleased with my experience. They arrived on time and stacked the wood quickly. The owner gave me information on how to store the wood properly, and I was impressed with the size of the rick that was delivered. He made sure I received a full 4 x 8. I would recommend this provider and would use them again in the future.

Great experience! I contacted Johnny and had to leave a message, but he returned my call in just minutes. We scheduled a date the following week. They arrived promptly, as agreed, and backed onto the driveway. I offered to let them pull into the side yard to make the distance they had to transport the wood shorter, but they said they'd rather not mess up our yard. They worked quickly and within just a few minutes, we had 1/2 rick of firewood, stacked and ready to go. They even made certain that was what we wanted as we have a frame to hold a full rick. The wood looks great, the price can't be beat, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Johnny to anyone. We will be calling him again in the future!
