I called and left a message. Johnny got back with me in a couple of hours and we set up the appt. It was around Thanksgiving and his earliest appt was in about 5 days. He was scheduled for Friday night at around 7:30. He called when he was almost to our house and arrived at about 7:30 as agreed upon. He and his co-worker looked over where I wanted it stacked. There wasn't super easy access (through a gate to my back yard) but he had no problem with this arrangement. I asked if they'd leave 1/3 of it stacked near our garage. They unloaded and stacked in those two locations in about ten minutes. The stacks are neat, the wood is evenly cut, and we already had a fire and the wood was dry. He takes credit cards which was nice.

1 Prime Cut Firewood was awesome. He called back quickly and delivered on the dot. The wood was cut small enough to fit my "cookie cutter" fireplace and it was good, dry wood. Not many branches. He was less expensive than my previous provider, on time, and better quality wood. See you next year 1 Prime Cut Firewood!

Johnny showed up on time and was able to navigate his trailer down a dark 200 foot gravel driveway. He dumped the firewood right were I wanted for our agreed to price. There was a lot of firewood and it burns very well. Will definitely use again.

Very simple process; I called and a few days later at the scheduled time he came and delivered the wood and neatly stacked it.

Johnny was very responsive and called back the same day to set an appointment for pickup. I picked up my firewood from his wood yard the next day at the agreed upon time and was very happy with the quality.

I called 1Prime around 12:30 on Thursday, Nov. 21st. The gentleman was extremely polite and helpful. Our rick was delivered THAT night!! The guys (there were two) who unloaded were polite and very fast. I was blown away by this service. We will definitely use them again and I've already recommended them to friends and family.

On time and friendly. The wood appears to be quality and well seasoned. Not much more I can ask for when it comes to firewood. The cherry smells really good, worth the extra couple of bucks! I will definitely use them again!

I recommended 1Prime Cut Firewood to a friend who was looking for firewood and and she asked me to post comments from her experience. She left a message inquiring about firewood. Johnny Hensley promptly returned her call and offered to deliver the same day. She scheduled the delivery for the following Friday. Mr. Hensley was prompt, professional and very courteous. He mixed her order as requested (1/4 cherry & 3/4 mixed wood) and he and his assistant neatly stacked the wood in her backyard. He took extra care to place all of the cherry wood together and separate from the mixed wood. Unlike numerous experiences she's had in the past....1Prime Cut Firewood is seasoned and burns beautifully! She would highly recommend his services and product.

It went great. He arrived on time and stacked the wood in my rack for the stated price. I offered to let him back his truck into the yard, but he declined since he didn't want to risk any damage from his big truck. He wheeled several loads to the back (it was a rick) and stacked it pretty much in the dark. The wood was seasoned and all the pieces were high quality with no moldy or odd shapes included. Nice guy all around and I could tell he works really hard at meeting the needs of his customers. When this load runs out, I know who to call. No question about that.

Went great. Johnny was waiting for me when I got off of work and had already dumped the wood like I requested. It's been burning great for the last couple of months. We fully intend to use Johnny's services again mid-Winter when we run out!

I called 1Prime and got Johnny's voice-mail... he called me back within about 10 minutes and apologized for not being available when I called. He delivered my firewood two days later to fit my schedule. He responded immediately to a text message I sent and arrived at our designated time. He put the wood right where I asked and was super quick in doing so (and he was concerned about driving in my yard even though I gave the go ahead... and he asked again just to make sure). Johnny was super personable and professional. I'm not sure what kind of wood we used the first night in our outside fireplace, but it burned forever and it wasn't all 'popping' and sparking like the crap wood I was using before. Of all my recent Angie's List experiences, this guy is totally at the top. You get what you pay for and in this case it it great service and great product!

He was very personable, very friendly. I live in a 2nd floor apartment. He brought it all up, and stacked the wood. Of all the places that I have ordered wood from over the years, he is at the top of my list. I would highly recommend him.

I was very pleased that the company was able to work around my schedule-I had to change my delivery time, and they were very accommodating. Also, it was not necessary for me to wait for them; we worked out a way to leave payment so that they could deliver when I was away from home.

I called Johnny yesterday and he delivered the seasoned wood today. He arrived on time and he and his helper were finished with the job in about 20 minutes. He is very professional and he delivers high quality firewood.

We've dealt with Johnny in the past 2 years. He is always professional and on-time. Firewood is superior, and the Ricks are the largest around.

The product delivered was good and they did exactly what I asked them to do... They arrived at the time they said they said they would. I will use them again in the future. I like using businesses that are close to me and they are right up the road .

Johnny was on time, friendly and honest. I accidently wrote him a check for $20 more than quote and he later that day called me to say I had overpaid by $20 and would it be ok if he sent me a refund check for the overage!

Very pleased with the service. Johnny answered the phone the first time I called and actually arranged to deliver and stack the wood that same evening. He arrived on time (early actually) and finished the job quickly and professionally. He was not the cheapest provider I found, but I believe the quality of the wood and good service is worth any slight price differential.

Called and left message. Johnny returned my call with-in the hour. Firewood was delivered the next day. Two young men neatly stacked the firewood on my back patio using a wheelbarrow to carry from the front drive of my home. Looks great!
