White's Electrical LLC

I was not happy with Whites Electrical. I think I was supposed to get so many hours worth of work with the electrician and two persons showed up. So that split the amount of time they were spending with me in half and I just did not feel satisfied. The things what I asked them for - they just said that it would take more time than you have paid for. It seemed like they were two young kids. I do not think they knew what they were doing electrically. I will not use them again.

I purchased 2 hours (1 man) or 1 hour (2 men) of electrical work for $99 special, called to make the appointment and scheduled for the following week. Don and Phil were on time, on task, and pleasant to have.

Their services were professional and on time. Overall a good experience.

Several companies came out and first couple of them was not able to solve the problem but they did. They thought it was completely resolved but it did not so they came back out promptly and kept tracking on it till they did find it a day later. If they just leave and I had the same problem I call them back and they come right back. They were pretty honest.

I called White's Electrical at the beginning of June. We set an appointment for June 14 in the afternoon. The first appointment did not occur becuase the electrician had a previous booking for that day, but everything was set up again with plenty of time. The appointment was set for today anywhere from 2-4, but they were able to come early and called to ask if they could come around noon or shortly after. They arrived around 12:30 and promptly got to work. They quickly fixed the humming dimmer switch by simply removing the bulbs and letting us know that these energy saving bulbs are not compatible with the type of fixture and switch. They were also able to fix the dead socket by flipping a switch, which we thought was a dead switch because it is in a random spot. They took down a light fixture in the foyer because even after they had done a few little tweaks to it it continued to flicker. The breezeway lights and the outside flood lights were a complete loss. They were unable to find the correct wire box for the lights. They went through and tried all of the breakers and looked at the old wiring systems to see if they could find anything there. They felt that is was a big mess and did not want to get into that. It has been suggested to have a complete rewiring of the house to put everything on the same system. I agree that this is definately the next step, but we are trying to make the house relatively safe until we can take that leap of debt. My concern comes from the type of comments that I heard while they worked. One gentleman continually m\uttered under his breath, "unfreakin' believable", "what a joke", "this is ridiculous". When I asked them about a total rehaul in the house they were upfront about the cost saying it would cost in the range of $10,000 or more, but then went on to say that they do not like to work on older houses because the work is much more difficult than working on new houses. I was satisfied with what they were able to do today, but I feel like in the future I will need to find someone who is willing to work on historic homes. I have no problem saying that I will use them again for small jobs, but I think in my case that will be all.

The ceiling fan replacement was was performed as a Big Deal. Travis and John were technicans. They were very knowledgable performed outstanding work.

They came out on Monday the 11th and dianoised a bad breaker and not enough space to put anotherfor all the items we had on that circuit. Schedule for Monday 21st ( 1 day, but took 1.5 due to excessive heat and figuring our best way to getdedicated plug out on patio, was not easy), but they made it work and consulted us on everything.Very pleased with the communication about what they needed to do and why.Will definately recommend and use again.

I had used White's previously to replace the main breaker and box in my home. Everything had worked well since that time. I had two wall plugs that had quit working. They found a lose connection and fixed it in no time. They are always punctual and professional. I will call them the next time I need electrical work.

Original visit had to be rescheduled a week because of a vendor emergency. I was ok with that. Was then given a 2 hr window on a new day which they missed due to a scheduling snafu. I called White's and they reacted quickly; they rerouted a service person to my location, arriving about an hour and a quarter late. That was ok, it wasn't a major problem to me. Installation of the fan and light fixture went quicjkly and smoothly. Service techs, Don and Nate, couldn't have been nicer, more courteous or more accomodating. Very professional job; they were through in a little more than an hour.

Very well! The electrician they sent was wonderful and allowed my husband to work with him side-by-side to assist and learn about the electrical system in the house. His personality was great and we would ask for him again. We bought an Angie's List coupon deal but paid about $150 more to have additional work completed beyond the coupon.

My list wasn't long enough and they were looking for more to do. They were professional and polite when they came over.

They were awesome! I was so pleased! I could not have been more impressed with Don! I absoultely plan on using them again.

I have used them twice. They did a good job, as far as I can tell. The lights are still working. No body is perfect, I don't know what it takes to give As.

They were great. They were friendly, and courteous. They were conscientious about keeping the house look nice. I would use them again.

I purchased the Angie's List 2 hours of labor coupon for $99 so all the labor was prepaid. The first time the representatives came out, they did not have the supplies to complete the job and we agreed to reschedule. The second time a solo representative came out and he performed the work very well and the result is exactly what was expected. In addition, the hole he had to make to fish the line was much, much smaller than the original representatives said they would have to cut--thus I was very pleased with the electrician and the quality of his work.My only disappointment was the cost of the supplies. I expected a 30% mark up, but the cost was $150 for 15-20 feet of electrical wire and a new circuit breaker. They made their money on that one.

We reached out to them twice via e-mail, and we have not heard back from them. It's taken way too long, and I'm dissapointed they haven't responded.

Don Tidd arrived at the scheduled time. He was very professional and did an excellent job with the installation of our landscape lights. I would recommend White's Electrical to others.

When I initially called to set up the work for the Big Deal, I didn't get a call back even though I was told a call was going to be returned in 20 minutes. I called back the next day and got scheduled in a timely manner. Don was the electrician that came out to do the work, and he was was very nice and did fine work. I was told they couldn't do the new outlet because my circuit breaker box was full, which was a worry of mine. So that was fine. But then I wanted to have them switch out all of my 2 prongs to 3 prongs. They didn't tell me that I had to have them on hand. I figured I would have to pay a small fee, but they had no supplies. Thankfully, I had 4 of them, so I got some of them completed. But, then I didn't have any more so Don left. So, I paid about $99 for an hour of my 2 hours of Big Deal work. Disappointed that I wasn't told the electrician wouldn't have any supplies.

It was a very, very competent gentleman that came out here; I was really pleased with him. It was excellent, there was no problem whatsoever. This guy just went out of his way to make it within the two-hour time limit. It was apparent that he knew what he was doing. I didn't even know if he will be able to do it when he came out here, because it was outside electrical work. I didn't know if it would fit within the two hours, but he was excellent, knowledgeable and a gentleman. I was totally satisfied. I was glad he came all the way from Mooresville, I appreciated that.

They did a good job on the services provided, I would use them again if the need arises.

He came out and sent me to get parts with a list he created. I got back and he said all the parts were wrong. He seemed to be in a big hurry. He sent me back to Lowe's to return the parts and while I was gone, he just left. He didn't do any of the work. Part of the problem was that Lowe's gave me the wrong parts. I will not be working with the company any further and got a refund on my Big Deal purchase.

We bought one of the Angie's Deals - 2 hours of electrical work for $99. Don came out when scheduled. He was very pleasant and very efficient. He completed the work in one hour and since we bought two hours of work, he went around to the outside plugs and made adjustments, where needed. We will use this company again.

They came out promptly and took care of the problem. They even did a breaker box tune up. I would definitely use this company again.

Don showed up on time and was very personable and professional. He went right to work and was able to accomplish both the light install and the new outlet within the designated time frame. He was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions, working with me to get the angle of the new light exactly where I wanted it. He was really great! I would definitely recommend them and would use them again!!
