It was fine, the electrician came when he was supposed to and did what was needed in order to comply with the home inspection results.

They were very professional, but I felt a bit pressured to buy. The prices were dropped if I bought "today". That sales approach is never favorable to me. They also forgot to reinstall my electrical panel that was removed during the inspection. They also never followed up with me after their visit, which I found unusual.

Prompt and professional service

This company is great ! I have had them before and will have them again. The electrician arrived on time and set to work. After looking at our panel, he explained that he thought it was carrying too much and recommended a second panel. We agreed, and he went to work. Worked diligently and completed the task in about 4-5 hours. We are completely satisfied and highly recommend this company.

Good communications with all their staff. Two employees arrived, they were prepared, competent and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again.

The gentlemen were on time and professional. However, it wasn't clear to me that if 2 electricians showed up it would be 1 hour for each or 2 hours for one electrican. They informed me that if there would be an additional charge if they went over the 1 hour limit per man and they would confirm the charge as the time came closer. When the 2 employees started the work they split up to conquer the tasks. It was clear to me that one of the electricians was more experienced. As the hour time frame approached they still needed to check the outside light fixture and they did confirm that there would be a charge and confirmed if they should proceed? I did pay the additional hour but once the light was inspected it as easy as they expected so they stopped the work and put it back on the wall. After all of the work was completed at that point I was happy with their work until a few days later when I realized the outside lights weren't coming on. So, I a friend who is an electrician came over and he looked at the new switch that was installed by White's and it was hooked up wrong which made the lights not work outside. He fixed it for me and it works now. Overall the work was ok but I didn't contact them with my issue. Hind sight I wish I would of let them know luckily I didn't have to pay someone to fix the issue.

If there isn't a box for them to tie into on the inside then it's a completely different price; there was some confusion with the description for the deal. They were very professional and polite about the situation and gave me an estimate for what the job I needed would cost.

The company scheduled the appointment, arrived on time, changed out the electrical box, cleaned up and were professional. That was about 6 months ago and I have not had any trouble with my electricity.

New fan is more powerful and quieter. The price of the fan was included in the deal. Installer cleaned up the mess.

They arrived as scheduled. Two electricians installed electrical box in the entryway. The job was completed in one hour. They recessed the electrical box into the brick to reduce its physical appearance on the wall. We were very pleased with the job.

I purchased their services with the big deal. They repaired the electrical outlets and replaced any damaged parts. One outlet on out patio stopped working again after a few days so they came back and replaced the whole thing and rewired it. Our house has an addition so the electrical is sometimes hard to figure out. I was not charged for this second visit. Everything has been working fine. I would hire them again.

They were perfectly fine but we have an old house and could not do the work due to this. They tried to look for a possible solution to do the work but could not find one.

They came over and did a full assessment of the outlets in the room and neighboring rooms. They then went to the fuse box and identified that the circuit breaker had gone bad. They were able to quickly switch out the bad breaker and then recheck the room to ensure that the power was back on. The cost of the breaker was not included in the prepaid service package but because they were able to do it so quickly he didn't charge me for the breaker (retail price of the replacement was $45. I checked it on-line). I was pretty happy that I got that all done for less than $100.

We saw the Angie's List special for a $39 review of our electrical system. The representative arrived at the designated time, explained what he intended to do, and proceeded to conduct the assessment. Since our home is old (1920), it contains much of its original wiring. So, the representative proceeded to explain what needed to be done in order to bring our home up to grade. He also provided a cost estimate and explained financing options. Overall, a good experience.

The installation involved breaking through the wall and creating a new switch along with all the wiring. Everything was done very professionally. My only surprise in all this concerned the executionn of the "big deal" that I had purchased. It was for 2 hours of an electrician's time. What actually happed was I got 2 "electricians", one who was clearly an apprentice and one who was very experienced, for 1 hour. In the end, it was a minor thing as I was very happy with the result.

I have had two experiences with White's Electrical, specifically Tom McNitt. The first in Janaury 2011 when they cleaned my breaker box and replaced some burned breakers that were causing electrical concerns in my home. They even worked with me on a short-term payment plan to cover the costs that were unexpected and a bit outside of my budget. In December 2011 I was experiencing problems again that I thought were related to the breaker box. As it turned out there was a GFI outlet in the garage that had been tripped (embarrassing!). During the December service call I had mentioned in conversation that I having problems with a recently installed hot tub, Tom said "let me take a look" and he came back minutes later with a report that the wiring had been done incorrectly and he was able to easily correct it. The hot tub was fully functional again. He did this for free. I'm not saying they will always fix side issues for free for you, I believe Tom did this out of concern for what another electrician had told me about their work and then finding that this second electrician did bad work himself (there was nothing at all wrong with the work White's had done) - but it shows what genuinely good people these are. During each interaction with them I felt they were human beings first, a business second. For both service calls they responded promptly, were on time to the appointments, and professional - in both appearance and mannerisms. I would HIGHLY recommend White's Electrical to anyone and everyone I know, and even those I don't know. I will absolutely use no one but them in the future.

We contacted them through Angie's list and they responded immediately. They provided a quick, fair estimate and were able to begin work within a day or two. Their electrician was knowledgeable and provided some good ideas for some of the lighting we did not have completely laid out. When complete, they followed up and even though the patching took several weeks to get done (a subcontractor to them), it did not interfere with anything. They have assured us they have changed subcontractors and for any future work that won't be a problem. They stayed within budget and priced extra work very fairly.

I liked the fact that they were responsive. They came on time. They explained to me what they were going to do and then they checked the circuit. They checked our circuit breaker that we had and they discovered that the problem was not an electrical problem but it was a problem that we were having with the air conditioner. I was happy with their responsiveness and timeliness. Although they weren't able to solve the problem because it was not an electrical problem, I felt that I got a good return for what I paid for the service.

He did an electrical inspection. He gave me some suggestions, however I felt he was trying to sell me on some things that I wasn't comfortable doing.
