I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal and the day after purchasing received a call setting up the appointment. I was called beforehand, and the two gentlemen came out promptly within their allotted time. We have a stone house and they were very aware of where to drill and the best spot to put the outlet. After the first one in the back of the house was completed they asked me to check it out to make sure I was happy wtih that before they moved onto the one in the fron of the house. We live in an older home and are ecstatic to have outlets outside of the house and were very happy with the service performed.

They did a nice job. They were prompt and nice and did a good job.

Most of the work was done in 1 day. There were a few small problems, such as outside outlet needed caulk, which they came back and fixed in a very timely manner. They worked around my work schedule (which is hard to do). After the original estimate, they worked with me on taking some things off and putting others on so that I got what I needed at an optimal price for me.

I purchased an Angie's Big Deal from Whites Electric for $849 for Complete Electrical Panel Swap-out with FREE Whole House Surge Protector Installed! I got a call the same day I made the purchse and scheduled the inspection within a day or 2. The representative arrived on time and after checking my panel and explaining that I needed a couple of upgrades he scheduled the work for early the following week. The electrician arrived on time and completed the job the same day. He was very professional and kept me informed of his progress throughout the day. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work and feel I got a great bargain! I was quoted over $2000 by another company. My only complaint is that the holes for the panels were cut bigger than the panels so there is about a half inch opening between the panels and the wall board. As they are out in the garage this is not a major concern. Overall I am very pleased and would use them for future electrical work.

They arrived promptly and fixed an electrical outlet problem that a previous electrician said couldn't be fixed. They also diagnosed and fixed some other electrical issues. I was most impressed with their courtesy.

Had trouble arranging the service. Took repeated calls and messages over several months. No complaints about the actual work--just took too much effort to get it scheduled and done.

The service was fine. They were working on multiple jobs and different people were in and out. They did not bring everything needed but the work was done and they were still professional with the service.

The technician was on time, was very courteous and professional.

There were 2 workers that arrived on schedule and they were both very professional. One worker handled the garage and the other handled the light fixtures in the house. When updating the light fixture in the bathroom, the worker noticed that the wiring was corroded and melted due to older fixture and wiring issues. Called in the other worker from the garage so that they could resolve the issue correctly. They had to go into the attic to update a bit of the bad wiring. Could have caused a fire if I had updated the fixture myself instead of callling in a professional. Paid a bit more than the $99 Deal price, but glad that they handled it for safety purposes!

He worked me into his schedule as he was in the area. I didn't want to wait a couple of weeks to have all the work done at once because I was hoping to have it done before Christmas. He was able to come back a couple of times as he had available time and I appreciated that. I think he did a fine job overall.

The inspector and I agreed on a time. He let me know when he was 10 minutes out, and arrived as we had discussed. We spoke about my reason for getting the inspection - no overt problems, but a system that was built in 1957 and had had no major work. He offered and I chose to walk around with him. We talked about the advantages of bringing the wiring up to code;, and changing out the box even though I was experiencing no problems. We discussed some planned renovations and he suggested how an upgrade might fit into those plans. No work was proposed or scheduled.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call the very next day of purchasing the Angie's special. We scheduled a date and he arrived on time. He checked an electrical outlet in each room for function, grounding etc. Checked the main electric panel in the garage. But did not check the smoke alarms, as stated in the deal. I was informed that there was discoloration of the base (?) plate and replacement of it will cost me $1050, which was a special going on. Normally, I was told, that kind of work is for $1500. I was informed that the discoloration means that there was some overheating at some point and possibly could be a fire hazard. I am looking into that.

The service was outstanding. Not only was it performed quickly, but they took a look at other parts of my system to make sure everything was as safe as possible. I highly recommend White's Electrical!

Didn't have any problems with the work performed. Done professionally in a reasonable timeframe. Electrician was courteous.

Whites Electrical emailed me in a timely manner to schedule, they showed up on time, the work was done in slightly less than the two hours scheduled, and I was able to ask some questions about other future projects. The ceiling fan is now the right height and doesn't wobble when it's on. Simple tasks, maybe, but I have no electrical expertise, so this Big Deal was just right for what I needed. When I have the money available to do more work, I'll call Whites Electrical.

It went really well. He was on time and did his work quickly. He was very neat and respectful of my house. I now have access to electricity on the outside of my older home.

I bought an Angie's List Big Deal - $99 for 2 hours of electrical service. The company called me to schedule the appointment before I even had a chance to contact them. I really liked that. The two men that came to my home were very nice and very polite. They even put booties on over their shoes to make sure they did not track in any dirt. I showed them each light that needed replaced and they went right to work. I wanted to make sure that they would be able to complete the task within the 2 hour time limit, so I unpacked the lights and laid out all of the parts they would need. This is a tip for anyone who purchases a time sensitive Big Deal coupon. Anything you can do ahead of time will help in keeping within the time limit and hopefully prevent additional charges for time required above coupon limit. I am very, very pleased with Whites Electrical and I will definitely be using them for any future electrical needs I might have.

They did a great job. I don't remember the exact date job was performed. Very professional, and nice.

Instead of doing an inspection, they only priced repairs that the other company found. The "Inspector" never left the living room despite the tenant trying to point out different electrical issues. There was no inspection and the first company that actually crawled around the crawl space and attic got the $2,500 job.
