They were prompt and very helpful throughout the process. We purchased a home that had been vacant for over a year, and had them come in for an inspection. They discovered a major leak in the AC system, and problems with the furnace. I was a little disappointed that the technician wanted to replace parts in the furnace with no assurance that they would fix it, but I do understand that it is difficult to properly diagnose things until you have everything working. When it was determined that both the furnace and AC needed repair, they sent an estimator over the same day. He was very helpful and informative, and took plenty of time to address my questions and concerns. I was told I would get an estimate e-mailed to me on Monday for the replacement equipment (this was on a Friday) but I did not receive the estimate until Wednesday.

We called around and got several estimates. The salesman seemed very knowledgeable. They had a guy come out for pre-installation inspection. The next day 2 guys came out to install the units. They put down cloth runners in the entryway and down the stairs. They even wore booties over there shoes. They are very friendly and respectful. We have had a problem with the heating unit. They have been very responsive and are trying to resolve the problem.
Description of Work: They came out to the house and replaces the heating and cooling unit.

They were very nice. Their estimate was in the ball park of the other two that we got (about $6,000). We decided to go with another company based on which brand of equipment we wanted (each company used a different brand) and the extras that were thrown in by one of the other companies.

11-6-07 I called told them furnace leaked gas, I was ill. They sent repair man 5 hours later, leak was stopped. I called again the duck work leaked, some repair not all.

They are very good. Every thing has gone well with them. We were supposed to get three different rebates on the A/C and furnace and we have gotten two back and we are still waiting on one, but Williams said that we help us with getting that one taken care of. We will continue to use them in the future.

They responded in a timely manner and resolved the problem, but noted that one of the 2 pumps was not working (although the system was cooling the house). They suggested we contact Water Furnace to see if a warranty was still in place on the part since it was just over one year old. They also said we needed to completely purge the system of the old fluid that had been corrosive and replace it. We agreed and had them come back to replace the pump (under warranty). and completely purge the system. We also signed up for their service plan, so they will be coming out every 6 months to check the system. They were professional and helpful. We liked working with them.
Description of Work: We have a Water Furnace that was leaking at the flow center (in our basement). We called for someone to come find the leak, make the repair and flush and refill the system.

It went perfectly. Our air conditioning had stopped working relatively late in the day, so we had to call for emergency service around 6 p.m. (It was 90 degrees outside.) A repair technician was there about an hour later. The air conditioning problem was diagnosed and repaired within a half an hour. We were very, very happy.

I called to schedule a service check on our air conditioner at the beginning of the warmer season. We were already using the air conditioner and it was working fine. It took a couple weeks or so to schedule it because they were attending first to the people whose air conditioners were not working, which was fine with me. A service guy came out who was polite and quiet and did the maintenance check and said everything was okay. Our air conditioner has been working fine. We always get it checked at the beginning of the spring/summer because an air conditioner is a relatively large expense to replace, so we try to keep it maintained well with the service checks. This was the first time we used Williams Comfort Air, and I thought they did a good job. I will use them again.

They were very professional and polite. The salesman was great. The worker was very kind. He showed us how to operate everything.
Description of Work: They installed a new furnace and air compressor outside. They cleaned out all of the air ducts. They hauled everything away and cleaned up. They put down drop cloths on the floor throughout the house so they wouldn't make a mess. They installed a thermostat and they put in a new air vent downstairs.

Williams Comfort Air came out to clean the Air Conditioning coil and the drain from that coil. They ended up having to come back out, as the drain was not handled correctly the first time. When they returned, though, they were able to resolve all the issues that were left over.

I am sorry to hear that there were problems with the service work. I noticed that you canceled your maintenance agreement with us. Unfortunately we should have sent the same technician back to the home. I specifically noted that he cleaned the drain line on the first visit. Depending on the overall condition of the coil, it is not uncommon that a drain line clogs again after 30 days of continuous usage. Josh Huck 317-844-3944.

Williams Comfort Air got to my house quickly to evaluate the problem, get me a quote and install a new unit. I knew that the company was under new ownership and was concerned before I called about whether the service would meet previous high levels. I was very pleased with their efforts to get a repairman, salesman and installers out so promptly. All I dealt with on the phone and at the house were polite and helpful (and I knew they were really busy due to the weather problems). We may have gotten a slightly better price with more shopping around, but everyplace was busy and we couldn't even get anyone else to come out and give quotes for days and days. I do think Williams moved us up the list and/or squeezed us in because we had a maintenance agreement but I appreciated that. We pay the annual fee 1)to avoid emergency situations and 2)if there is a problem anyway to get the advantage of the first response. We had air again before it got really hot and truly appreciated both cool air and the company's response and helpfulness.
Description of Work: Our AC unit stopped working after a strong thunderstorm this spring. We have an annual maintenance agreement for spring AC and fall furnace tuneups. We had just had the spring AC tuneup a few weeks earlier. I called late on a Monday afternoon and although they were very busy due to the string of bad weather and an impending heat wave...they had a service man at my house on Tuesday AM. (It does help to be a regular maintenance customer). Unfortunately, the compressor was grounded out (probably by the lightening strikes that had hit so nearby) and the repair cost was almost as much as a new unit. Again, they worked with my schedule and had someone out to give me an estimate on a new unit by 7:00 that evening. The new unit was installed Thursday morning by prompt and polite installers and was cooling our house that afternoon. Just in time for the 90 degree weather.

They are on time and professional. They are safe to have in the home. The owner came out and looked everything over. They worked hard to keep things cleaned up.

Great! Received a return call from a Tech within 30 minutes. When I explained that I checked the "coils" and they were iced up, he instructed me to turn off the system so the ice would melt and setup an early appointment on Sunday morning. Tech arrived on time, discovered the problem, recharged the system and did an inspection. Unit has been working better than ever.
Description of Work: AC stopped cooling at 4:00 pm on a Saturday.

They where very friendly when they where there working. They where very professional about the job. They did a good job at cleaning up when they where done.
Description of Work: They had come over and cleaned and inspected the air conditioner.

I called Williams Comfort Air and explained the problem with my air conditioner. They scheduled an appointment for me two days later, with a 3-hour window. They called me on the day of the appointment as promised and said they could come earlier if it was convenient for me. The technician, Doug, arrived and was very polite. He diagnosed that the blower motor was the problem. He gave me three options on the repair. He could get it the motor going as is, but couldn't guarantee how long it would work; he could replace the blower motor with one he had on the truck; or he could order the original equipment motor and return to install it in a few days. I had him replace the motor with one he had on the truck and it turned out to be the same as the original blower motor. Doug then fully explained the benefits of a service plan for my heating/AC units, which I purchased. I was very happy with Williams Comfort Air and especially with Doug's work.
Description of Work: Diagnosed a problem with my air conditioner, replaced the blower motor, and sold me a service plan for both of my heating / ac systems.

They are highly professional and diligent. If there is a problem they'll send out another technician to double check the item to make sure it's right. We will continue to use them for future service and would recommend them to others.
Description of Work: They service our heating and air conditioning units. We have a maintenance agreement with them to do this work, as they were the ones that installed our geothermal new furnace. We've used them before that, as well, for a number of years.
