+ -1 moreIt went fine - there were no issues with my A/C as our home is only 2 years old but he did the tune up and changed the air filter. The only issue I had was with scheduling the appt., they don't do appointments in the late afternoon so I had to go into work late. The tech sat in front of my house for about 20 min before I went out and told him I needed to be at work as soon as possible. He was very prompt after that.

Description of Work: About 5yrs. ago we purchased a maintenance plan for our air conditioning and furnace. I asked if they would call to schedule we were told that they would call us. The furnace was serviced but when we didn't hear from them by the end of the summer for the air conditioning we called and were told that "it had expired!!" How can something that you've already paid for "expire". We feel that they stole from us a service that that we had already paid for. I would definitely NOT use any service from Williams Comfort Air. BUYER BEWARE...in my opinion this is not an honest company.

Took time to explain what they were going to do, to confirm service I asked for, made sure they didn't let my indoor-only cats out of the house. They were efficient, thorough and cleaned up their mess. I had a non-running vehicle in the way of the attic access they needed and they moved it out of the way, and then they moved it back when they were done. They did a complete walk-through on using the new thermostat, showed me how to keep the condensate line clean and quiet, how to replace the filter and where to buy them, how to handle any problems with the heat pump, and other general information. All in all, I am completely impressed with the quality of the product, the installation job and customer service that they provided. Great job!

Anytime I need service under the maintenance agreement, he is the only guy they will send out so he gets familiar with my equipment which I felt is a great idea. I used to have one hour cleaning from others and every time somebody new comes in; they always start from scratch. He was very knowledgeable which is the reason why I switched to them because the other company cannot find the problem and the solution.
Description of Work: I used the heating and A/C service of Williams Comfort Air. I signed a contract with them for a two years maintenance.

I paid another $1500 over the Big Deal price for the new parts they added. I have used them for years and they originally installed the furnace 14 years ago. They are always professional and on time.
Description of Work: I used Williams Comfort Air for a heating and air conditioning system checkup. After the checkup they recommended that I replace some worn parts so I had them come out a second time to put them in.

They were very professional, wore shoe covers when they needed to be inside my home. They cleaned up after the installation and everything is working well. The installers were very pleasant and courteous at all times. Hope I don't have to repeat this project soon, but I would use Williams Comfort Air again as needed. Thank you!

+ -1 moreProfessionalism: Tune-up went fine, but technician felt the need to insult the quality of our unit, not sure why, maybe he was wanting to sell us new one or current unit is only 4 years old. Price: During the tune-up he offered several other services that were declined when the price was disclosed and then before leaving he asked if we would like our air filter changed but did not disclose the price. When we received the bill there was a $60 charge for the 1 minute it took to replace the air filter. Responsiveness: called to schedule service in May but service date not available until August.

+ -1 moreHe did a fine job. He was here for a long time, very thorough, just did a great job especially for the price. He came in and just did an assessment on the inside of the house. The temperature variation at the registers and then checked out the air conditioning unit inside and then went outside and checked it out and it ended it up the coils were clogged and he ended up removing the outside condenser and cleaned that up thoroughly which was very nice.

+ -1 moreI called William's Comfort Air after our oil furnace wouldn't kick back on. I had a coupon for a free service call ($90 fee otherwise) from them, so I decided I might as well use it. They were quick to set up an appointment day and time and told me they would call to confirm when someone could make it out. The next day they must have called me five different times to try to confirm. I was at work so I had to call them back, and each time I got a very impatient sounding representative who told me they would call me when they were ready. I tried to explain to them I had already been called and wanted to confirm, but they again told me I needed to wait. I was finally able to answer when they called and got the appointment confirmed, again confirming that I could use the service call coupon. I was not at the house when they came, but my SO was. He said their employee was very polite, but did not listen when my SO told him I had already tried bleeding the oil line. The guy did it anyway, of course it did not work, and charged me $105 for it. I have no idea how untwisting and tightening a bolt costs $105, but it did not end there. After he got the furnace running, my SO was told the free service call coupon was not valid for the visit. The guy was very apologetic and took a bit off the bill, but it was still $70 I was told I did not have to pay. I still do not understand how having my furnace serviced was not a service call. If it weren't for how nice the employee who came out was, I would be giving them an all around F. It was nice to have the heat on again, but my family and I will NEVER use this company again.
Description of Work: Oil furnace would not light. They bled the line, and then scraped the filter. Finally got it to light.
