I never felt he was rushed or delayed with all my questions. I'll definitely be calling in the Spring for an AC tune-up.

 + -1 moreI requested a quote for installation of a whole house humidifier that I purchased through Amazon. The provider said they were able to install my product and sent a tech out for a free quote. The technician showed up about 30 minutes after the window which I was told to expect him. After looking at my furnace and learning that I was not interested in purchasing one of their over-priced package deals, he went back out to his truck and kept me waiting for another 20 minutes while he talked on the phone. He returned only to provide outrageously expensive quotes for services I didn't ask for including wi-fi thermostats and maintenance agreements. Long story short, they REALLY don't like to install 3rd party products so don't even bother asking. They tacked on all sorts of fees and requirements (I would have to provide all needed materials and parts) making the quote about $1400 more than that of a competitor.

 + -1 moreI was very disappointed with their system, so I will never use them again. I was not at all impressed with them. That was my first experience with them and my last. I called back a previous company I had used and they installed the fan for $800, so basically having Williams Comfort Air out here cost me $800. I've seen their ads, they mail stuff to the home, and I've seen them on Angie's List. They're located in Carmel where I live and I really thought they would do decent service. I was completely shocked that they would come out, investigate everything, tell me all these good glorified comments and two days later I have a furnace that's not functioning. I called back the first people I had who put in the fan and then I actually had a third person come in that my son knows who told me bad things about the second company, so right now I'm a little burned out on furnace people. I would not have my worst enemy call them out because I do not trust them in anyway and don't want them in my house. The price for them to come out was fantastic, but when they got done with me the price was absolutely ridiculous because they cost me over $800. The quality was not good. They were telling me that the humidity in my basement was fine, but it's still not fine. They did come out as they said and were on time, but they ruined my furnace.
Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for Williams Comfort Air. They came out to do a furnace cleaning, but within two days the big fan in the furnace which I had running all summer stopped after they inspected it and said everything was fine.

 + -1 moreEarlier in the week, I scheduled for Williams Comfort Air service technician to come out and let me know if my furnace needed a repair or replacment. I was told that the appointment would be after 12:00 noon and that they would call 30 minutes before arriving, I called the day of my appointment to check with them twice to make sure I was on the schedule and if they could at least give me a general timeframe of arrival and they could not. Finally after 4 pm, and 5 hours of waiting, i called and they still could not give me a timeframe of when their technician would be out., only that he would call 30 minutes before arrival. I was furious, cancelled the order, and told them to forget it, since there are many other service providers. The best credit I can give "Williams Comfort Air" is my initial scheduling was handled professionally, quickly, and very courteously. But they may have become overwhelmed and got their scheduling mixed up and had to push appointments back. The worst is if they knew they couldn't fulfill their earlier appointment when they made it, this is very bad, indeed. I would not schedule with them, unless you have all day wondering when they will be out to your home!
Description of Work: I scheduled Williams Comfort Air Free 2nd opinion estimate, to have them come out and look at my furnace and let me know if it needed a repair or replacement.

 + -1 moreThe salesman pointed out that I could get a higher efficiency furnace than what I was originally expecting because of the rebates. They only changed it. They're going from an 80% to a 96% furnace. It only costed me $100 more. It was worth it.

They were very nice, my husband was having a very hard time because of the heat, and they tried very hard to get the air conditioner to start working as fast as they could. I really liked them. They were very pleasant and nice anytime we talked to them. Their price was affordable.

I really have not had any problems with them. We set appointments and they come and tune up the unit. I have no reason to complain.

Everything was repeated and verified with the "scheduler," the $44 service, time, address, house number, so on. After waiting all morning for a no-show, about 4:30 PM I received a somewhat cryptic call asking me when I wanted them to come by, and for my address! I was furious, cancelled the order, and told them to forget it, since there are many other service providers. Did thorough inspection of furnace, and installed (at no added charge) a customer-supplied furnace filter. Made recommendations RE: connected dehumidifier; since full dehumidifier service (including new pad) would be a significant additional charge, we declined this extra work. Overall, very satisfied with this service visit. From recent comparisons, however, the company's charges appear a bit high, especially RE: the add-on dehumidifier service charge.
