So far there are no problems. They were very professional and polite. They were efficient and they were also on time.
Description of Work: We had a circuit board go out for our furnace. They replaced the circuit board and repaired the furnace. They were able to get the furnace working properly.

I was distressed because they tried to upsell me. I ended up calling another provider to have the work completed. Williams completed the inspection and tune up. The tech was pleasant however. I would not recommend or plan on using this provider again.

They had a ton of reviews, so I think a lot of people have used them and seemed to be all pretty good. I also purchased a mini split from them and they had been good service. They’re just easy to deal with.

The technician that came out was fantastic. Their pricing was very good. All the techs that have come out over the last year have been absolutely fantastic to work with.

It was easy to get an appointment. They were on-time. We were a little upset with the deceptiveness of a coupon we'd received in the mail. I told the lady on the phone when I called that I'd be using the coupon. We were not informed they would not let us use the coupon. He said he couldn't accept that. I asked why she didn't tell me on the phone when I told her what the service was. He said "I guess they just lied to you." That's not a thing to tell the customer. He was very pleasant, the service was very good, but I was unhappy with the company because of the coupon issue.

It was fine. They tried to upcharge me by suggesting additional services that I didn't really need. They suggested several other items that would have cost several hundreds of dollars. I didn't feel like I could trust them. It was one just employee so I don't like to judge a company based on one interaction. It was a good deal. They did what they were supposed to do.

It was okay. The experience was not bad. I only had them out once. They attempted to get additional charge. There a million of other things that they would like to do, The tech was not too pushy about it. He just said, I'm obligated to let you know that this, this and this. I understand that and they all do that. I felt like it was an opportunity to not just look at my furnace but try to sell on this different plan. Today, I actually have some problems with my furnace that I kind of feel like maybe it should have been caught during the actual inspection which is what I had them do. I'm finding that the esstntial part of it which is it humidifier isn't working. I'm kind of disappointed that I'm finding that out in the middle of January when it was checked out on October. They were pretty quick to get out here. They were there when they said they were going to be. He was very professional and very polite. I guess I would use them again. I just would monitor a little bit more closely what the inspection package entails. I don't think it just entails looking at the furnace. I thought they would look at the sub systems and they did not which is why it's not working now. I came to after the fact that it would have extra money.

Helped us determine the need for a replacement part. Never pushed us to replace the full furnace, but presented the options clearly. They were prompt, friendly, and helped us come to conclusions quickly. By end of day, I had a third representative in our home helping us plan to replace our furnace. The next morning the crew arrived on time and had the job done in one day. An unfortunate event in our home turned into an investment for the future, thanks to Williams Comfort Air.

We were comfortable with the associated price. They know how to handle geothermal units and any repairs and/or maintenance that they make lasts. They're great with scheduling but sometimes there can be a slight delay while waiting for the technician who specializes in geothermal units.
Description of Work: We have a geothermal heating and cooling unit and they performed annual maintenance on it. We have been using them for a couple years. We switched from a provider we were unhappy with.

The work was on schedule and completed on time as promised. Very neat, clean, and informed me of all needed maintenance and warranty. Fully answered all my questions. Installers had all tools and equipment to complete job without any "trips to town for lunch and supplies". Prepared existing duck work for new unit. The quoted price included everything also installing a new breaker into my panel. Installers made an extra effort to come to my house as driving conditions/traffic was terrible and added at least 2-3X the drive time to the job.

The 3 installers, Brandon, John and Dusty. called before arriving for the job and you couldn't ask for nicer, friendlier men. They worked almost all day, and when they left, you wouldn't have known they were there, except for the new equipment. They completely cleaned up after installation and carried off everything. They took their time and explained everything to me after it was done. They showed when and how to change the filter, how to adjust the thermostat, and answered the questions I did have. The furnace has been running great since they left yesterday and is quieter than it ever has been. I had a question this morning and had a return call from Brandon immediately. There was no problem with anything they had done, just my misunderstanding about a certain product. He was friendly and concerned that I understood everything before we hung up I would recommend Williams Comfort Air to anyone needing heating or a/c work - and these installers in particular..

We have an annual maintenance contract, which provides bi-annual checkups/tune-ups for our heating/air conditioning system. The tune-up last week went great. The technician was helpful and professional. I wanted to make a comment about what happened last time, however... because we just realized the issue. We have a UV purification system on our new furnace. The special bulb only lasts about a year and we have had it replaced once. This past spring, the technician informed us that it again needed to be replaced. I hesitated to do so, since it would again cost about $200.00. We decided to wait until now (Fall) to have it replaced. In the meantime, I researched the actual cost of this bulb and found out I could get the very same bulb myself for about $10.00. When the technician came out last week, I asked him to remove the bulb and we would be replacing it ourselves. I can understand a price markup and perhaps a small labor charge, but not to the tune of $190.00! The "labor" consisted of pulling out the bulb and the technician was here anyway for the tune-up, so there would be no additional trip charge involved. So, my question is... why would William's Comfort Air charge us so much to replace this bulb. This makes me wonder about any other charges from this company, should we require service in the future. I plan to call them this week to find out what gives!

They almost killed my family. The technician performed the service but neglected to replace the cap on the gas valve. The unit serviced the upstairs area of the home where the children sleep. When the kids went to bed, there did not appear to be any indication that anything was wrong. The time had been changed on the thermostat by the technicians and so when the unit kicked on per the programmed schedule, the unit powered up and began heating the home. Due to the fact that the technician was grossly negligent and left the cap off of the unit's gas valve, the upstairs of the home began to fill with gas. Early this morning, fortunately i was awake, I went upstairs and could easily determine that gas had filled the air. We immediately evacuated the kids. When we called Williams Comfort Air, they first told us to call the gas company and then said they would send someone out today, but with no indication as to when (no sense of urgency). When the technician arrived today, he immediately noticed the smell of gas, opened the unit and discovered the missing cap. This technician fixed the problem and replaced the cap. He took pictures too, which I now have. In my opinion, this is inexcusable and could have caused death. I have left a message for a supervisor, but have not yet heard back, though i just recently left that message. At the very least, the technician needs to be fired. Licensed technicians should never make this type of error.

We are long standing customers of Williams Comfort Air. We have used their sister company, Shelby Air as well as Mr. Plumber too. We pay the annual service fee and have had them perform a lot of work. When I called today to ask about our furnace not working the woman who answered the phone said they would come out and waive the service fee because we pay into their service plan annually and had a checkup five days ago. I double checked with her to make sure of the charges and still was told that the fee was waived. So when David fixed the thermostat in less than ten minutes he said he either needed to charge me $75 or $125. (They charge $125 for 15 minutes of work.) I was shocked and upset that a problem so simple would be that much. They said they were doing me a favor of only charging me $75 instead of more. I asked if they could meet me in the middle because it was such a short and easy trip and they said no. He wasn't here more than 15 minutes and it cost $75. I did not feel like a valued customer seeing as we have spent thousands with them on new sump pumps, air conditioners and furnace repairs and call them for all of our needs. As a long term and loyal customer I was hoping that they would work with me. No such luck. I'm disappointed that we have invested in this company and they are not willing to do anything.
Description of Work: My furnace wouldn't turn on so he checked my thermostat. It had been bumped and was not connected all the way to the wall. He took it off and put it back on.

They sold me a higher end unit, but it's quiet and one of their most high energy efficient units. I got a reduction on the pricing, and it came with a 15 year warranty. The installation and everything was excellent. I've had work done by them before. They've always been good around the needs I've had. The installers were young and knew what they were doing. They were attentive to the details.
