Tremain Corp. is a one-stop shop specializing in bathroom remodeling. Their initial evaluation and proposal was professional and proved they had listened to all of my wants and requests. They had the guarantees and warrantees that I was looking for. When we started to seriously determine the final details of the exact bathtub, commode, faucets, tile, etc., Dawn Williams was a star. She helped enormously with fulfilling my fairing demanding list of requirements. We probably sent each other over a hundred emails even before they actually started the demolition. The remodel itself went smoothly and quickly with José in the lead. He is an impressive tile specialist. We have a second bathroom that needs work and we have already requested that José be in charge when that happens.

We were amazed at their willingness to fit us in. We have used this company before and have always been very pleased with their work and with how easy they are to do business with, but this was really going above and beyond. Needless to say, they really solidified our loyalty. We do want to point out that Tremaine Corp. is the company that we use. There is another company with Tremaine in the name, but it is different from Tremaine Corp.

This is the third time I have worked with Tremain. They redid my bathrooms and this time my laundry room. I have nothing but outstanding comments regarding their work. They are professional in every way. Dawn, Jim Emry and Jose (who is a master craftsmen at tile installation as is Steve) are the reason that Tremain is so outstanding . The organization does everything they can to make sure your project is done in an outstanding fashion. They are worth the price because they are so talented individually and as an organization.

We were having someone else do the work on our bathroom, the only thing Tremaine did was provide the cabinet. The cabinet was not what I had asked Pam to find for me. Initially I decided to keep it because the contractors had specifically made a hole in my bathroom tiled wall to fit this cabinet. Once installed I noticed the VERY poor workmanship and parts in the cabinet. I called Pam to return and although she did take it back, there was a $100 restocking fee. I questioned the restocking fee because I had told Pam what I wanted and I assumed that she was familiar with the lines she carries. Her quote to me when I questioned her about the fee as it is not what I wanted and she should have known as she is the expert not me was "I sent you a picture of it, it's not my fault and that's the way we do business"

Customer service and workmanship was excellent. They had the new shelf made within a week.

They did an excellent and beautiful job. They did a very nice job of not damaging the new items and the tile floor. They were able to get this done in a couple of days. I went to them to look at the tiling and items I wanted to purchase at their showroom. They have multiple samples of tiles and bathroom models made up to show the product. They were very upfront with scheduling. Everyone from the salesman to the installers were good. The salesman emailed and mailed estimates and information. He had great follow up. Overall, I am still pleased to this day with their work.

Estimate was provided with no pressure. I was contacted for a time frame to complete the work. Craftsmen were very professional and competent. All I had to do was keep out of the way. They replaced the floor, repaired some outdated plumbing, laid the linoleum, set the commode, installed a vanity and sink I provided, trimmed, calked and hauled away the waste. It looks great!

I had never used a contractor before so I was nervous about getting someone that would do a good job and be considerate of what I wanted as well as advise me. Tremain was great, they met with me, we discussed each detail and I selected everything I wanted they made helpful suggestions but did not push. They sent me the estimate which was the price range I was expecting and we scheduled the work. They were always on time, very professional and considerate. I met with them for about 15 minutes each morning to ask questions or answer any questions they might have. Each day they explained what work was to take place. Each evening the area was left very well organized, clean and all equipment out of the way. I was given a cell number so if I had any questions I could call the contractor. The job was finished on schedule and I could not be happier with the experience or the result.

Great design and great execution.

We would definitely hire Tremain again. We had been frustrated for about 10 years with a recurring leak in this bathroom, trying quicker, less expensive repairs. Finally, upon recommendation from a plumber, we contacted Tremain and asked about overhauling the entire bath/shower. The designer worked with us on every detail to our satisfaction. The tile person was very expert; the tiles look amazing. The door originally ordered did not quite fit; the home is older and nothing is straight/level, so I do not fault them for this. They ordered a new door and it was a perfect fit. They did not stop until we were satisfied completely. This included changing caulk color after we decided the original was too dark. Very professional from start to finish. We would hire them again.

Tremain is a very difficult company to work with. They make it difficult to speak to anyone but the receptionist. The process for getting work scheduled after the estimate was very vague and seemed like it would take several weeks before we would get attention. Workmen have been sent to the house twice. On both occasions they explained that they ran into an unexpected conditions in the shower, upon which their instinct is to pack up and leave without describing a course of action and without attempting to schedule any followup with the customer. The workmen seem to be technically capable but they lack desire and instinct to deliver a solution and ensure customer satisfaction. Working with Tremain requires aggressive and persistent followup by the customer unless you are prepared to wait a long time for service and you are satisfied with minimal communication from the service provider.

The salesperson came out at the agreed upon time, was pleasant and knowledgeable. He took the measurements and we discussed general items: type of bathtub, tile, flooring, etc. He then indicated that we would get an estimate within a week. To date we've heard nothing. I really do not understand why Tremain would not even provide an estimate. The only thing I can think of is that the job is too small for them, even though total cost would be between $15 - $20,000. The salesperson did mention during our discussion that they've done bathrooms larger than our whole house and probably cost more, which made us feel uncomfortable. This leads me to believe that our remodel was not "upscale" enough for them. Tremain was recommended by a neighbor who had her bathroom remodeled and our houses are very similar. I've contacted her and requested that if she recommends Tremain to anyone, she should include what happened to us.

Tremain arrived on time and without delay started the repairs. In a very shot time the repairs were completed and the shower sealed. The repairman informed me not to use the shower until the next day, giving the sealent enough time to dry properly. Ive had no porblems with the shower and i am very satisfied with the quality of work performed.

We were very pleased with the work of Craig and his "team." They did a very professional job, and the bathrooms turned out just as we hoped. There were three suggestions made by Tremain during the estimate that influenced our decision to use them. They recommended a cast iron tub, they suggested the addition of drawers in one bathroom, and they recommended repositioning the shower head in one of the bathrooms. We also appreciated the help of their designer and the fact that they provided us with a list of past customers with addresses and phone numbers (we called three people we knew to see how they felt about the work by Tremain - all gave excellent reviews). Of the four estimates we got, Tremain's estimate was in the middle.

All appointments were on time. They delivered what they said they would do, on time and on budget. They know what they're doing for sure!

This was the second time that we had used them and they are excellent.

Process went very smoothy. They arrived on time and cleaned up the work area very nice. Nice guys to talk with!

I had to wait awhile to get the project started, but once started there was someone at my house everyday working on the project until completion. Mark always arrived when promised and kept me well informed. During demolition a water line was cut and caused some damage to my living room ceiling. I didn't have any problem getting the ceiling repaired. They were very apologetic. I also loved working with Dawn on designing the new bath. She was very easy to work with. Mark and Dawn are great. A very positive experience and I love my new bath.

Excellent customer service and quality work!

The linoleum in our kitchen had to be replaced due to severe water damage. We replaced it with porcelain tile. Tremain was sub-contracted by the restoration company that did the rest of the work on our house. During installation, I showed up unannounced one day to see how things were going. Of the 2 people there, only one could speak english which, in itself, is no problem. The problem came when I tried, not knowing he couldn't speak english, to have a conversation with him. For about 1-2 minutes, I would ask a question or make a statement and instead of getting a, "no habla inlges", I got an idiot grin and a bunch of affirmative head bobbing. The other installer couldn't hear us because his radio was playing so loud that I could barely hear myself. When I finally did get his attention, he acted like it was a quite a bit of trouble to turn down the music and actually talk to me. The result was that he really didn't know much about the job or what we had discussed with the original contractor. In the end, the tile has a multitude of differnt spacings that has caused very inconsistant grout lines. The depth of the grout various tremendously all over the kitchen. And the worst is that the tiles are not pressed into the thinset uniformly. When you walk across our floor, you are constantly stepping on the corners of tiles that are sticking up higher than the surrounding tiles. Also, because of water damage, we had some kitchen cabinets that had to be repaired and reinstalled. On one set, there was a brand new oak board that had been installed as a "toe board", or "kick board". This board had just been installed before Tremain showed up to install the tile so it was not yet stained and sealed. The installers from Tremain managed to completely cover the bottom 1/3 of this raw oak board with thinset, which stained it so badly that it had to be pulled out and replaced. This had to have been done on purpose because absolutely no other wall or cabinet had thinset on it. Overall, we are definitely NOT impressed with Tremain, nor would we ever recomned them or use them again.

The workers were very professional. They were really good and responsible. They cleaned up my house really well and meticulously.

Sheree in showroom was quite knowledgeable and helped in selection process of countertop materials/sinks to be used. She was definitely patient showing us samples/slabs and answering questions. Installers were 2 hours late arriving to install countertops, but were very professional, courteous and did a great job. The countertops look wonderful, sinks, holes cut for electrical and plumbing went off without a hitch............. I would definitely use them again.

The workman was pleasant enough, but talked too much. He ran short of time and just got out.

They were efficient, prompt, neat and did good work.
