It went great. They were very efficient, got everything done in the time they allotted and even returned when we asked them to check a drain that they had used for clean-up. We are very happy with our furnace and water heater. We had gotten three quotes and they were the most competitive and responsive.
Description of Work: John's crew installed a high efficiency Rheem furnace, tankless water heater and ran a gas line to our kitchen.

Called others for quote on new furnace/2 found the OE part&would install&guarantee for 2 yrs for same price as risk with Theile.11/30 Mgr called to make appt like other appt&the fan going out never happened &no knowledge of latest letter to owner.Finally admitted he didn't keep appt on 11/23.Told Mgr I wanted to talk to owner.Called me 12/4, explained problems&asked if this was quality work&service and he said yes!Told him about part&he promised to mail to me-it has not come.Problems:No part/disabled parts of thermostat/fan won't run alone from therm/Pad on old blocks-unit not level/Drain sticks out too far/tried to dispose of cover/wasn't going to reinstall drain/rock outside to make it drain/debris left/hugh savings on electric not realized/may have damaged new ductwork/followup letter-handwritten note-Bob Lux-who knew not happy/referral promise on business card not kept.Want 2635.59 for fan repair, other problems repair, bogus service call on fan, and amt cheated on unit.
Description of Work: Call for service to AC-frozen due to low freon.Used scare tactics&rushed to have unit before noon so I couldn't ask anyone.Was to get $1000 off, but didn't.Later realized overchged almost twice.Techs couldn't understand schematics on furnace, damaged fan trying to get AC to work&24 hours late finishing.Used 20 year old part&was not going to replace.Fan sounded wrong-called Bob Lux told him overchg, many problems&wanted to speak with owner-no help.Disputed VISA didn't get owner attn-wrote letter.Owner never got-sent again and he finally called. Promised to send Fld Mgr&call back.Mgr came-promised new part&fix install problems-refused to hear fan problem.Owner never called back.Mgr got part in&called to make appt.Agreed on 11/23 if he didn't call to chg-never came&no call.Wrote letter to owner, last straw now I want compensation.11/16 fan went out-called Mgr-sent tech to tell me what I knew-fan out&offer generic part at MY risk-no guarantee for 400.74 plus hardware &charged me for that!

The service I received was excellent. Their prices also seemed excellent when compared to the estimates I got from other companies. They were there before the scheduled time. I would use them again.
Description of Work: They came out and replaced the circulator, replaced parts and put in a new thermostat in my radiant heating system.

We have been doing business with Thiele since they replaced our huge, cast iron boiler more than ten years ago. They have replaced the pump, upgraded our thermostat and changed the thermocouple as needed. Because of their consistently friendly,knowledgeable and efficient service, we have never considered calling anyone else. This year we called for our annual maintenance and start up and were able to get an appointment within a week. Their serviceman Jason was extraordinary, friendly and knowledgeable, even providing tips for better service that we had not heard before. There is no reason for us to call anyone else for our boiler and radiators.
Description of Work: Thiele performed our annual check up and startup of our gas-powered hot water residential boiler.

Our air conditioner went out and we contacted 3 area HVAC companies. We researched the Dept of Energy website, great info to help make informed decisions on HVAC. We got 2 excellent proposals for different but competitive systems. The energy rating both companies did came within a small margin of variance so we felt their estimations of BTUs needed were accurate. We then came across a coupon for Thiele and called to see what they offered. John met with us, devised a Rheem system and it's perfect. Didn't think we could afford Rheem, but we were wrong. Heat pump is new technology to this area but absolutely the way to go, variable heat furnace is fantastic. Together they operate seamlessly. Very quiet, clean, efficient. Rheem is a state-of-the-art product and Thiele an exceptional provider. Can't say enough about John and his team. If I had 10 houses I'd have 10 Rheems through Thiele!
Description of Work: This past summer we replaced 19 yr old air conditioner, which had died, with heat pump. Replaced 22 yr old furnace which worked but was an energy nightmare, having to run almost non-stop but could not heat to a desired level. Added air filter. Connected our existing humidifier into new programmable thermostat. Installers were excellent, efficient and very clean. After installation, we had a service call so we could get a full explanation of how the programmable thermostat worked, its many functions, and how to take full advantage of its energy savings options by setting temperatures according to when we are home, asleep, etc. We're very excited about the technology of the heat pump and have waited until now to post this report so we could accurately comment on function of heat pump and furnace. Energy efficiency was a big factor for us. The president, John Traub, was fantastic to work with as was every member of his team. We highly recommend them

Clean technician arrived within a few hours of the call and provided a professional assessment and estimate. A new unit was installed professionally the following day. The installer arrived on time.

We received three estimates from companies that were recommended by friends. Thiele was the least expensive and did the best job of explaining the work. From the time we called until everything was done was less than 72 hours.

The owner, John Traub, came out to give me the estimate. Completely dedicated to customer satisfaction and doing things right. Scheduling of work was prompt, crew was professional and they explained the operation of the new unit prior to leaving. New unit made a 100% improvement to reducing operating costs and efficiently heating and cooling the home.
Description of Work: Complete installation of new high efficient A/C and furnace. Included moving outside A/C unit from back of home to the side of the house.

The price includes installation and the subsequent repair. They did whatever they could do to avoid any future problems, as far as the recommendations that they made. I was able to save some money by getting in before changes in requirements for air conditioning were made. They did a great job overall.

I CALLED THEM BECAUSE THEY HAD INSTALLED THE SYSTEM ORIGINALLY. AT THE TIME I CALLED, THEY WOULDN'T GIVE AN APPROXIMATE DATE OR TIME WHEN THEY COULD COME.
