Thiele Heating & Air Conditioning

They did a great job, and I've never seen a guy clean a furnace as good as he did! He went through everything and did a great job. I really appreciated that he didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need.

* furnace stopped working on coldest day of the year (why does this always happen?) * noticed water leaking from humidifier all down the furnace case * called Thiele, and they put me on the (long) list of people needing service * they showed up when they said they would * the technician diagnosed and solved the problem quickly, then showed me how to avoid it in the future.

I was impressed with all the Thiele professionals they were all great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Thiele to anyone. The new furnace and blower are so quiet - I wish we would have replaced the beast years ago! We financed the rather large expense, 12 months same as cash, through GE Money Bank, a program offered by Thiele and payments can be made on the account at Walmart for $1 - $1.50. service charge. We now have quiet 95 % energy efficient furnace and a/c - and we look forward to the savings as our energy bills go down! I would advise other customers to be leery of other companies that offer "too many coupons" - might not be a good thing.

Went great we called them and boone came out and inspected and went over a few options. We chose a 3 1/2 ton unit. The appt was made for monday to install and three men came out and worked the entire day. the work was excellent. the guys were great and prompt and cleaned up afterwards.. The total experience was wonderful and the price was reasonable

Absolutely amazing. Communication was easy, very responsive, confirmed the appointment, arrived on time, and performed the services at a very high level. The worker did not try and upsell services, and even educated us and what to look for in the future. I would easily use again and most likely go with them when the time comes to replacing the furnace, which is in the near future (a year or two).

I am very happy with them. I pay them $20.00 a month for each one. Then twice a year they do like cleaning and tune-up on the system. If there were any repairs they gave us a discount on the repairs. It was like an automatic reduction. I pay $500.00 for the year and I think it was $49.00 a month for all the units. They were experts in what they were doing. I had two other companies come out to diagnosis a problem with my air conditioner and they just could not figure it out. They were not good. I then found out the Thiele Heating & Air Conditioning worked on this kind of system before so I had them come out and they figured it out what was wrong and got it fixed. They got the warranty company to pay for it. Mainly they just seemed to understand the system to figure out the problem, when the other guys could not.

It went well. He used a small camera to see the condition of the heat exchanger and he showed me that it is in good condition. I was impressed. As the furnace is over 30 years old the serviceman suggested he send a sales person out to give an estimate. Later the blower started screaching so I oiled the pulley's and loosened the belt. The serviceman had tightened it. The noise stopped. I did get another furnace estimate from another company but am not going forward because of the present condition of my furnace.

We took multiple bids, and chose Theile because the quote was competitive, and we appreciated the effort that the Service Manager (Jason) made to explain the bid and answer all of our questions and concerns. On the day of installation, the installation crew (Duane and Dee) were prompt, courteous (to us and our dog), and had the new furnace, air conditioner, and tank water heater up and running (as well as all old equipment removed) in approximately 5 1/2 hours. After that a review of the operation of the new thermostat was done, as well as a walk around of the completed work. It has been a month since the installation, and so far the new Rheem equipment is working flawlessly. It is very quiet, is keeping our home comfortable, and if the first gas bill is any indication, noticeably more efficient and economical to operate. (This was expected, of course, but nice to see nonetheless.)

The technician arrived as scheduled. He noticed something that seemed wrong and after exploring the problem, corrected it. I've always had great experiences with Thiele and this was no exception.

excellent. far more thorough than I expected. spent a total of about one and one-half hours. very knowledgeable about furnace. well equipped with most modern tools. verified combustion efficiency.

I am a new member of Angie's List and so much appreciated having an "A" company recommended for the furnance work. I have had so many bad experiences with maintenance/service companies in the past. It was such a pleasant experenice having work performed by a professional, top-notch company and not having to deal with problems caused by poor workmanship.

The technician was fantastic, explained certain aspects of the furnace, addressing my concerns. In addition, his findings showed the other company had not "cleaned" the sensors which should have been part of a normal fall check up.

On Saturday we awoke to house temperatures in the low 60's and found the furnace was not working. After we turned did a reset, it began to work again so we did not take action. On Sunday morning we again awoke to temperatures in the low 60s, the furnace was not operating and this time it did not respond to a reset. We tried to reach our regular service provider, Bob Birbiglia. He was out of town but returned our call from Florida and recommended we call Thiele. We called Thiele around noon. Their answering service took our message, and about 45 minutes later we received a return call. The owner apologized because his service had not given him our message immediately. We described the problem and he said a technician could be there by late afternoon. The house was not too uncomfortable so we agreed. Pat arrived around 4:45. By then our furnace was operating once again. Pat spent quite a bit of time checking everything. The only thing he found was a loose connection at a gas valve, which he tightened and reconnected. Before he left, Pat instructed us on what to do if we had another problem, i.e., check a signal on the control board, record the pattern and call him immediately BEFORE doing a reset. It has been one week and we are happy to report that the furnace is operating properly. We paid a premium for Sunday but it was well worth it.

The technician, Sal, arrived and introduced himself and proceeded to do a tune-up on the gas furnace. He was very informative about explaining each step of the inspection and service. He pulled the burners and brushed and rinsed them, cleaned the flame sensor, ohmed the ignitor, and inspected the heat exchanger among other things. He also changed the filter. He was very professional and easy to talk to, answering all the questions I had such as whether a more expensive filter would necessarily do a better job, etc. (only if one had pets or allergies). All in all, I was very pleased with the service and with Sal's knowledge and friendliness.

I contacted Thiele Heating and Air Conditioning to give me the third of 3 estimates to replace my old gas furnace. They gave me the best price of the 3 and based on their history they gave me the confidence to select them for the job. On the day of the installation the Technicians arrived on time and they worked non stop until the job was completed. Very professional. Everything about the removal of the old furnace and the installation of the new one was exactly as promised. Also, the cost was what was quoted. No hidden charges

They were fantastic. I had a last minute scheduling issue and they were happy to accommodate by pushing my appointment back a few hours without a problem. Frank, the tech was extremely pleasant and very through in explaining what what he had done and one part that would need to be replace at sometime in the future. He did not give me the hard sell and was very complete in his work. I felt he was much more through in his work than any other company that has serviced my furnace in the past. Definitely would use them in the future and definitely ask for Frank.

Well I signed up for and found them on Angie's list after returning from a trip to Texas and my air conditioner had stopped working while I was away... Lucky for me it was a simple loose wire up inside it, a cat or something had to have gone behind it an hit it just right, he checked my coolant levels and mentioned it was a good thing it wasn't the capacitor and tested it as well, then sprayed it down and cleaned it up for me... Since he didn't actually do any work just plugged in a wire he only charged me for a service call. Good honest company, I'd use them again.

We noticed that though our fan was running, there wasn't any warm air circulating through the house. It was 6:30 p.m., so we were sure we had a cold night ahead. We called Thiele, who sent out a tech in a half hour. The tech found that the gas line to our pilot was obstructed, so he cleared the obstruction and everything worked great.

They were very responsive. On a Saturday one of the guys who normally doesn't do the quoting came out to do that for me. They did a good job of scheduling and went out of their way to accommodate. They were on time and kept their work space clean which I was happy with. They did a good job of making sure the air gaps were sealed correctly and fireproofing was back in place around the flue.

My furnace was making a strange grinding noise. A technician promptly came out and determined that the inducer motor needed to be replaced. He ordered a new inducer and returned to install it once it had arrived. He was efficient and very pleasant. I would highly recommend Thiele.

I did have a few other companies out and did get other estimates. I liked Thiele from the beginning. They knew what they were talking about. Didn't try to sell me what I didn't need, which others did. I have a strange configuration for upstairs sysem in attic area and a normal unit in the garage. They sized and replaced both units and outdoor ac units quickly. All workers were very helpful and worked fast, cleaned up nicely. I was quite impressed with their speedy work. I would highly recommend them.

Overall it was a very good experience, they were punctual and work fast and hard to get the job done so I could have air.

Great to work with. On time, cleaned up after themselves and were easy to work with.

On Saturday, they came out and opened it up. They said that the compressor was broken and it would cost as much to purchase a new system. They were not as thorough as the company that came out afterward to inspect the air conditioner. Apparently all that really was needed was to refurbish a wire! Thiele had not even looked inside of the compressor.
