I CANCELLED THE PROJECT, BECAUSE I FOUND OUT THEY HAVE NO INSURANCE, THEY MAY BE FILING FOR BANKRUPTCY, AND NOW THEY WON'T GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. IT HAS BEEN A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THEY HAVE VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, TAKING 30 DAYS TO RETURN MY CALL.
Description of Work: I HIRED THEM TO BUILD MY HOME.

Response from TAYLOR BUILDING CORPORATION
We have enclosed a copy of a letter from our insurance carrier, Nelson Insurance Company in Louisville, KY, that clearly states we have had and continue to have full insurance coverage. Additionally, this member alleges that we "may be filing for bankruptcy and won't give me my money back." Please be advised that our organization is not filing for bankruptcy and our family of businesses has been profitable for more than forty consecutive years. Our organization currently has an excess of 210 single family homes under construction and is currently closing more than 25 new homes a month. This member's deposit was clearly marked non-refundable. These deposit monies are collected as consideration for our written contract and are used to pay for sales commissions earned by this member's sales consultant and for document preparation as well as blueprint redraws as required. We hope this correspondence has resolved any outstanding issues, but if not, please feel free to contact us.
