Description of Work: Melinda the owner of Taylor and Associates has helped my husband and I update a 20+ year old house. in incraments. She is very attentive to our lifestlye and the durabilaty we need with our furninshings and carpet. She has wonderful taste and puts you at ease when working with her. I trust her ideas completely! She is very friendly and professional. Willing to work at my pace-room by room!!

Description of Work: Melinda helped me finish my master bedroom. This included art work, lamps & accessories. She brought items to me to consider & she was professional & accurate in her choices.

Description of Work: Melinda (owner) came highly recommended by someone who has been her client for many years. She came to our home and we were immediately put at ease by her friendly manner. We selected furniture and drapery for our Living room and Dining room. Melinda really listened to us and understood our needs. Her suggestions were exactly what we were looking for. The furniture arrived ahead of schedue (a very pleasent surprise) and looks fanastic. Melinda was there every step of the way. She was there when the furniture was delivered and handled everything extremely professionally. She did not leave until everything was settled and in it's right place. The same went for the drapery installation. Her attention to detail was impressive and very comforting. We were understandably nervous making such a large investment, but Taylor and Associates were always just a phone call away, and Melinda's attention to detail, follow up and very pleasent manner leaves us excited about the future decorating plans we have. Taylor and Associates will be our first call.

 + -1 moreWow. I also ordered furniture and wallpaper from her and 6 months later had never received it or heard from her. She would not answer/return my calls. Finally reached her when we blocked our number, and she stated that the fabric had just been cut for our furniture so it should be two weeks now. SIX MONTHS LATER??!! I don't believe it. I think she never ordered it. I am non-confrontational (thus the 6 month wait without my complaining, just calling). We canceled our order and went elsewhere. Thank God we hadn't paid. Buyer beware!!! I've heard complaints from others as well. I have since hired a new decorator (Cathy Gray--Anderson, IN) who got me furniture that I liked better and at much better prices. She does BEAUTIFUL work, and also does the most beautiful decorative painting (Italian plaster--WOW!!).
Description of Work: Met with Melinda and picked out furniture and wallpaper.
