Very professional, took a bit over an hour and very neat and clean change over.

It turned out very well. The big deal price was $49. There were additional charges. My whole system had to be changed. It was very good. They were very professional. They showed up on time. The installation was done promptly. Pricing wise, they were very competitive because I actually shopped it around. They were the best deal.

It was just fine. We like those guys, they have done a few different jobs over the years. They guys that come are nice, professional, knowledgeable and you can trust those guys being in your home.

We had just gotten a furnace from Airtron. Everything was okay. I thought there was something wrong with it, because it made a strange popping noise when the system would turn on. As it turns out, there was a pressure change inside the metal piping that made the sound when it would turn on. So we found that there was nothing wrong with it at all. The work we have had them do has been satisfactory.

Within minutes after submitting my request for an appointment on Angie's List, I had received a call from Airtron to set up an appointment. (Wow!) The Airtron representative had come to my home as scheduled. He looked over the work, and delivered a written quote with expediency. I really appreciate Airton's offer of assistance, though I had eventually chosen the bid of another company.

I had to call somebody else out to redo it. It just didn’t work right. I called them. She said that it if it's something else then we have to pay for it again. I just wanted a second opinion. So we called the guy who usually does it. It seems that they had left something unhooked; a wire or something. He fixed it, and it worked great. It could have just been a mistake; I don’t know. They might be great, but I just didn’t feel like I wanted to pay for a service that we just had done, and it wasn’t working right from the time he did it. It didn’t take very long. They were very prompt and very good. The big deal price was $59. There were no additional charges because I wouldn’t let them come back. I just felt like I paid them and it wasn’t working. It just didn’t heat. It had been heating before he fixed it. It wasn’t anything to be fixed; it's just that we have it done every year to make sure that it runs all year long. It was working before he came. I just felt like I didn’t want to pay them again. It never heated good after that. When I called the lady back, she said that they could send him out again, but that if it's something else, we have to pay for it. I just thought that I will call the guy that usually does the tune-up because he is really good. It was a good deal on Angie's List because we usually pay about $80. I just went ahead, called our guy and had him come back out. It just took him a second. We had to pay him again too. Our furnace was working great before he came and it wasn’t working great after he fixed it. That's why we called our guy back. He said that they had not hooked up a wire when they did the tune-up. Right after he fixed it, it worked just great. I am sure that it could have just been a mistake that he forgot to put it on. I don’t think it was on purpose. I just felt like I would rather have somebody out here to work with who I trusted more like the guy who always does our tune-up. Other than that, he was punctual and very professional. I had to pay to have it redone again. The pricing was great; that’s why I had him. He was right on time. I would not use them again in the future.

Both guys arrived promptly and went to work. They were very pleasant and did a great job. They completed a half hour under the estimated time and thoroughly explained everything to me before leaving. Airtron has always been a very professional company and everyone I have met from there represents the company very well!

It was good. They were quick. One technician came out.

2 Installers arrived within one hour to install new heating unit and restore heat. Both employees polite, friendly and neat and informative.

The salesman that quoted, Blake Lackey, was very responsive. He worked with us as we waited fro Vectren to install the gas lines. the installation crew, Daniel and Mark, were very professional and answered every question we had. We have recommend Airtron to friends after receiving service.

The service went fine. We ended up purchasing a new AC unit from them and they also tuned up the furnace. Several technicians were out over the course of several days. They were all courteous and polite. They were punctual and scheduling the service was easy. They got the AC unit replaced quickly which was nice during the heat wave. I would definitely use them again.

Service person came on time, performed the diagnostic and repaired the problem. Cost seemed a little high for how long he was there. But work was done well.

Everything went well. They arrived on time, completed the work quickly, and did a good job without making a mess.

There were no additional charges on top of the $49 Big Deal. They came out on time. When they said they were going to come out, they were there. They were very quick. They did some quick diagnosis and said that everything was fine and there were no problems. So, they were fine. I did not have any issues at all. They came out within the week after we purchased the Big Deal. It was pretty quick. They are a good company.

New furnace installed Jan 2nd 2015, installation quick and efficient, guests were able to be comfortable for rest of the visit and we've been quite pleased with new furnace's operation.

There were no unexpected issues. Everything is working fine. I didn't meet the person that came out but from what I understand, he was polite and did his job and everything was fine.

I have been satisfied with their service.

I can sum up this job in one word, "negligence!" My furnace was replaced 1 hour before I went to work and when I returned home after 9 hours, my house was filled with natural gas from a gas leak. The installer failed to tighten a pipe. Could have been deadly!

It was fine. They stayed in that price, they didn't have to do anything extra. They were on time and they did the work.

They did a great job. They were very professional and responded well. They came when they said they would. The price is good.

I've been using them for 22 years and have always been pleased with their service.

(from service on 1/23/15) I'm not sure how to write this one, because I'd frankly like to write two separate reviews. One for the actual service call and the technician who did it (good), and another for Airtron's "business practices" for lack of a better description (seemingly not so trustworthy after this appt.) The long and short of the good: We called on a Friday morning, a service tech. was there by lunchtime, he seemed perfectly capable and was fine to have around, nice, got the furnace fixed, seemed conscientious and I am confident the furnace is repaired as it should be. So, from that standpoint, I'd give all "A" on the report card. The bad: After thinking it was just a dirty flame sensor, and then realizing it was not once he had cleaned it, the tech. ended up replacing a capacitor that had gone bad. Pretty standard stuff. Easy to replace. Quick. In fact, the one time Airtron had been back to service that furnace a few years ago that exact same thing happened and the same capacitor was replaced then. It is noted to that effect on the service history sticker they put up right next to the furnace. In my past work experience I have been around motors and machinery a lot so I am pretty familiar with capacitors being something that not un-commonly need replacing when they start bulging, etc. The good news is that they are cheap and quick and easy to replace. I knew it wasn't any major repair and that size capacitor wasn't an expensive part. So I was glad he got it figured out, the furnace was working and we went up to settle the bill. I had a sense what the service call was going to cost because we had happened to buy an Angie's List Coupon that morning when we made the appt. that gave us a discount off the call + $100 toward a repair, etc. - but my beef has nothing to do with the coupon and how that was handled .... I about had a heart attack when the tech. mentioned the bill, and what it got down to was Airtran was charging just under $250 for that capacitor part! That capacitor can be bought 20 different places for around $10! (Here's the part number, google it and check for yourself... S1-CAP37075F) I very much stated my shock to the tech. even before I had a chance to actually confirm a price for that particular capacitor because I know darn well that was no more than a $10-15 part ... After he left I researched and I was right? about $8 from most places. I should say right here that I own a business, and I am in TOTAL agreement that most people have no comprehension why you need to mark things up, and charge for service calls, etc. Who pays for the vans, the gas to run them, the liability insurance, the inventory cost of each of those vans carrying a lot of parts, and on and on? So I don't in any way expect to not pay some marked up value for parts and pay for time, etc. I get that - and agree with that. But $243 (or maybe it was $247?) for an $8 capacitor? Holy cow! That's a 3,037% mark-up! That smacks of just taking advantage of people. It gives me the same creepy, untrustworthy feeling I get hearing about mechanics who take advantage of women (or men...) who know nothing about cars. So charge me $30 ... maybe even $40 and I'd swallow hard, but understand and appreciate that I didn't have to go elsewhere to find it, and that the furnace was heating again, etc. But $243? There are markups, and then there are rip-offs, and I can't help but think that this seems to be the latter. To finish the review, I just didn't have the heart to ask the tech. to remove the part because he was very nice and good, and it didn't seem it was his fault as he didn't set the parts prices. So we ended up settling on me spending a lot more to get a 2x per year service contract on all 3 of our systems, in which case he "threw in" the capacitor for free on this call. It was kind of a hollow victory, but they received a lot more revenue from me and simply had to eat an $8 part, and I will be getting some future cleaning/maintenance services and know that I didn't pay almost $250 for a $8 capacitor. So in my dealings with Airtron over the last 10 years, I have had very efficient and seemingly knowledgable service done 3 times. I now though have this sinking feeling that maybe I should have looked at the prices I may have paid for any parts a LOT more closely. I just got lucky happening to know the relative price of a capacitor in this case. Buyer beware. UPDATE 10/20/15 As I was replacing a furnace filter this morning I realized I had never been contacted by Airtron to schedule the tune-up service I paid for from the review above (which should have been the summer A/C service). I was told when I bought it from the tech they called automatically to set those up. I just got off the phone, the operator said I should have received a call (we confirmed the phone numbers they had were correct) and it is now too late to make sense to do the A/C service, yet because it is only good for 12 months I won't be able to have that done next spring. So they don't call me to schedule as promised and I am penalized getting my A/C units cleaned out. leaves removed, coils washed, etc.... Great. Instead I will have the same thing done I had in Jan. which is probably not needed yet. Also, when purchasing the maint. plan I had not planned to buy (see above review) I was told it would cover both my systems, yet when I just called I was told they only have me down for one. Of course (dumb me) I didn't get any paperwork on the maint. contract when I bought it because it was such a convoluted "solution" to the $250 part that costs $8 and he was having to go back and forth with the office to figure out what exactly to charge. You have to wonder how many other maint. service customers don't get their scheduling call ... A really poor customer experience now for the second time. I feel completely taken advantage of at this point.

He was professional and the quote was thorough. I felt it was the best of 4 quotes that I got for this job.

It worked out perfectly fine. I would give them all A's. They told me what was wrong with my heater and ended up being fixed which was covered with the additional services within the deal. It worked out great. I haven't had any problems with it. They came out 2 days after I made the purchase. The guy was very punctual. The deal covered all the charges. I would absolutely use them and I would recommend them.

Called Airtron in the evening when arrived home and furnace was not working. A technician arrived within the hour. Very professional and courteous. Explained everything and answered all of our questions. Fixed the problem and provide a tune up.
