We have an annual maintenance contract with Airtron. Airtron is very reasonable, professional and doesn't apply any funky pressured sales tactics. When it came to replacing our old heil AC system we discussed low cost repair alternatives. They are as happy repairing the current units as replacing it with a new system, your choice. All in all it was a pleasant experience without any pressure from their end.

Diagnosed the issue and came back a few days later with the part and fixed it.

Matt showed up on time and looked at our furnace and air conditioner. I was looking to replace both. He explained three models with their costs to me and answered all my questions. He emailed me three estimates from the basic model to the most advanced system.

called prior to coming, showed up when they said they would arrive. Work was done in a professional manner.

They recommended that we replace the unit and they gave us pricing to replace the unit by phone and we elected to go with another contractor because the cost was more effective.

Tech told us outside condenser unit was not receiving power and that we needed an electrician to replace bad breaker. We called electrician - nothing wrong with power source. Was promised call back from Airtron in AM, which was never received. Acted like they didn't care about problem. Called different company to resolve problem.

AIRTRON installed a new HVAC system for our home. The technicians were very thorough, and took extra time to detail and explain the installation process, as well as the characteristics of the new HVAC system in general. I would definitely recommend AIRTRON for HVAC related repairs and installation.

We love Airtron. We prefer to work with them. When pricing out new options, their salesman was the most coherent for us non-HVAC savvy customers. There've been a couple of goofs along the way with the new system - whether that's normal occurrences or someone's mistake on installation, i'm not clear, but Airtron has made it right and in a totally hassle-free manner.

They actually called and asked if they could send out a tech earlier due to a cancellation. It worked really well for me. The tech was friendly, great with children, and explained what she was going to do during the visit. She tuned up my air conditioner and furnace. She also cleaned my outside unit. She tested different levels and told me our unit was operating properly. At the end of the visit, she explained everything that she did before I signed the service paperwork.

He checked out what was going on with the unit and found that not enough power was going out to the unit. He said I needed to have a electrician out to figure it out. Then he left. Was very professional and had done everything I ask, but was unfortunately not able to help me. He charged me the cost for the visit.

Our new Bryant forced air heater purchased from Airtron the previous year malfunctioned. It turned itself off shortly after starting. Fortunately, I had purchased the maintenance plan from Airtron and the repair price was reasonable. However, the repair required multiple visits from Airtron to fix, leaving us without heat for a few periods during the winter. The first technician that came out to us misdiagnosed the problem and ordered the wrong part. After that was installed and the problem continued, a second, more experienced technician came out a few days later and identified the problem correctly, ordering a second, different part. I was not charged for the additional work to correct the problem. It was necessary to be more pro-active than I expected to get the work done. I had to regularly call Airtron regarding the status of parts that were on order, and then request service calls when they came in with a reminder that we had no heat, because Airtron would not closely monitor the progress of the job and call me themselves to schedule work as soon as the parts and technicians were available.

On time. Showed us and explained his work. Checked to make sure the system was working correctly.

A date & time was mutually agreed upon to install a new furnace. We were informed when our installer was on his way. Alan Messer was cordial, professional, neat & tidy in his work & had good communication skills.

I purchased a "Big Deal" for $49.99, which included a service call, diagnostic, and $100 towards any additional parts/labor. The tech arrived on time, and was very professional. Quickly figured out that I had crossed a wire when installing my new thermostat. Would definitely use them again in the future.

after being told they could perform the service I bought the big deal. I received several calls trying to upsell me ALL before anyone made it to my house. After having not been willing to purchase the service plan...they then couldn't get me in until even later. With 3 kids in a cold house, I chose to go with another company and requested a refund. I would've been totally okay with upselling me as I understand it's part of the process, but not until they've come to my house and advised on the next steps.

All was good, they cleaned my HVAC and made sure it was performing at it's best.

Service Tech was very professional. Said that everything looked in good order, did say that I probably only had a couple of years left on my unit since it is about 10 years old. I had already figured this, but he said to keep servicing and tuning up to make sure it lasted as long as possible.

Left the furnace on and running in test mode. My son is disabled and didn't understand that there was an issue. I came to visit two days after the work was done and called Airtron. They came out right away and took it off test mode. Not only did I have an outrageous electric bill from that weekend, my furnace is unusable and is using an ungodly amount of electricity.

Repairman found the leak but charged me a lot on top of the coupons to find it. Then he gave me a ridiculous quote to fix it and basically said they can name their own price. It was end of season so he advised me to call back in February for a cheaper price, but I would lose the credit I had for inspection after 30 days. When I say he said he can name your price I mean it. He said he can jack up the price mid summer when in demand and he makes 10% off of the sales. So you can imagine he has no motivation to help someone out or provide a good rate.

Service tech was on time and seemed friendly. He said my pressure was low and that I had a leak in the coil somewhere. Also stated that since I have an R22 system that they could not repair and I would need to replace unit for approximately $4000. Tech never went into crawl space. I had a different service provider come out, their tech went into the crawl space and immediately identified the problem. My entire trunk line which was made of duct board became wet from a water leak I had last year and disintegrated. It literally was no longer connected to the HVAC, thus a large portion of my AC/heat was never making it into the house. This tech suggested I replace all the duct board. I had Airtron as well as four other HVAC companies come out to give me a quote for replacing the duct board. Of the five companies Airtron was the only company that would not provide a quote, the tech stated that there was water in the crawl space and he though maybe a leaky drain pipe as well. Therefore he would not provide a quote until I got all water out and had the leak fixed. I had two other companies in the crawl space before and two others after--including one company just an hour before the Airtron tech. None of them complained about water or any other issues in the crawl space. The last two companies I specifically asked if they saw any water or leaks and they said no. So after first misdiagnosing the issue and wanting to sell me a $4000 unit that would not have corrected the underlying problem of the collapsed duct board and then reusing to even quote for the work that actually needed done--complaining about issues the other four provides did not report--I would certainly not get Airtron a third chance. I was very disappointed by this highly rated Angie's List provider. I had another contractor replace the duct board with galvanized steel and the AC now works great--no other repairs were needed for the AC.

Our air conditioner was not running and the technician looked at the outside unit and said he thought it had to do with our electric company's power manager they was hooked into the air conditioner. He diagnosed the problem, checked to see if that was the problem and then gave me the choice for him to repair it at a pretty significant cost or for me to call our electric company to repair it at no cost. I appreciated his honesty, declined his repair and immediately called the electic company for them to fix it. Honesty and transparency is what will keep me as a customer for life. Thank you!
