No call back & waste of money because they never called to help with problems.

I had AirTron come out to the home to inspect the AC unit as it was freezing up in the center. The tech showed up and completed the inspection. The tech wasn't really sure what the issue was and wasn't sure if it needed a S coil replaced or if it needed Freon. We got a quote of about $450.00 for Freon adding and about $1300 to replace the S coil. We thought both quotes were really high. We sought a second opinion from another company, they came out and said the S coil looked fine. The other company filled the Freon for $200 and the AC unit is working fine.

Our unit died on a Friday. A repairman came out on Sunday and discussed our options and we chose to get a new unit. Installer arrived promptly on Thursday. Everything looks and runs great.

Installed, arrived on time, was appreciative of our prep/weaving work. Very polite and efficient. Communicated products on a regular basis. Taped/covered stairs and floors. Did an excellent job of cleaning of afterwards. Took time to clearly explain. Courteous.

I purchased a Big Deal for service call and in using that they determined I needed a new unit. A week after they installed it I noticed water under my furnace but they came out immediately and fixed the issue at no charge. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly nice.

Airton came out for a service call and we determined we needed a new AC. They scheduled an appt with us at our convenience (evening hours) and thoroughly explained our options. It was installed the next day.

Prior to the install, we met with an engineer who asked us about our concerns with our current system and talked about goals we had for our new system. He presented us with several options ranging in price. He never pressured us to spend the most money which we really appreciated and talked through the pros and cons of each option. Once we made our decision, a detailed estimate was provided and the install date was set up. The day of install, we received a call 30 minutes prior to arrival and the guys showed up on time as promised. They were both very professional, clean, and did a good job of explaining what they would be doing for the day. It took them about 6 hrs to complete the job. One of the things I appreciated most about Airtron was their sensitivity to our full-time work schedules. The engineer came out on a Saturday for our consultation and was available by phone on Sunday afternoon to talk about our choice and schedule the install. The install itself was scheduled just two days later. I completely trusted the crew to be in my home while away at work. We could not be happier with the service!

We had a wonderful experience with Airtron. I called the day our air conditioning quit, and they had someone out that day to give us an estimate. The estimate they gave was lower than estimates I'd received from other vendors two years ago, and they did not oversell me. Priced what I needed and came out the next day to install. Installer was great - on time, explained everything, made sure I was comfortable with new thermostat etc. before leaving. The whole experience could not have gone better than it did!

Mike arrived on time. He explained the process and got to work. He was very polite and professional. The price was reasonable. We are very happy with the unit. All the staff at Airtron are fantastic.

Matt, the sales guy was very informative. I told him I was getting several bids. He told me Airtron would beat any price by $50. He held to his word. Brad, the installer was very precise and knowledgeable. He was pleasant and explained many things to me as I was curious. He went above and beyond cleaning up some old furnace/vent issues and rerouted the gas line to look more clean. These folks were wonderful and I would not hesitate to recommend them highly to anyone.

It went well, but it was so expensive! Just to clean the water line! I will not use these people again! I am giving a D rating due to unreasonable price! I even got an Angie's list discount where you buy $49 and get $100 credit. The service was $246! Completely outrageous. The tech said that without the Angie's list discount I would have gotten another discount by signing up for some maintenance plan and the total would have been the same! What a rip off...on the upside I now know how to fix this issue if it ever comes up again!

We got the worst news possible, we need a whole new system. Dean was very informative and extremely nice.

Ryan Robertson, the installer, was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. The final bill was the same as the estimate.

Technician arrived on time and double checked the quoted price with me. Job was done in one afternoon. I was very pleased with the service! Scheduled a time for the next day.

Turned out it was very simple. A pin had been pulled outside in the main box. I'm glad i didn't have to pay full price for such a simple fix! The service man was very courteous and understanding.

The Airtron crew were prompt and courteous during the removal and installation. Additional work was required and the crew was able to explain the process clearly. Detailed explanation on operation of the equipment was completed and the crew cleaned all areas of work.

The technician showed up on time and ready to work. He provided all the paper work and explained the work he would be doing. He placed covers on his shoes and immediately went downstairs to the basement and started working and shut the system down. He then went outside and disconnected the old AC unit. Then he removed the old heading unit in the basement. Working alone, he was able to replace the furnace and AC unit within 6 hours and have it fully operational. He cleaned up the area he was working in and made sure I understood how the system worked. He was very professional and answered questions.

Before he even looked at the unit, (due to me saying it froze over) he said it was a leak. He said to diagnose the leak it'd be $246, then 2 minutes later he said $303, and finally that it need R22 refrigerant which would be a total of $505.00. He refused to just tune it up because he would have to clear that with his boss. When his boss was on speaker the worker said, I was refusing service and that I needed to pay $89,94 for his visit despite him not being "able to do anything" to which his boss replied, "just tune it up." Which was the service I was wanting in the first place. I did notice that he didn't mention any of these prices or quotes in his report. Eventually I said just do the tune up, and he poorly performed some kind of work. Then when leaving he put in his report that the capasitor was failing and that it would be $159.00 to repair today and $246 to repair any other day. I had a professional come out to the house today and he said, the capacitor was not failing and to top it off it was an $18 fix...not $246. And my provider also said it did not even need refrigerant. The levels were fine, and that I was being misquoted at $246, $303 and finally $505, all for something that didn't even need done. After I had the real professional out today, what did it need?....a simple tune up. I was being taken advantage of my lack of knowledge of air conditioners, and he was falsely claiming problems to get more money. It was apparent while he was talking that he was just adding as he went. He made me aware of all the great coupons available on angie's list, however after the "service" I received if they were the last air conditioning company in the world I would live without air conditioning, rather than paying for items that my air conditioner did not even need. And at the end of the conversation when I paid him, he rudely said is 95 cents to much for you, regarding the $89.94 I had to pay him. You should not have to pay for people doing a poor job, lying to you about services not needed, and then rude on top of it all. Worst service I have ever received from any service company

I purchased an Angie's List deal and the technician came out and looked at it and he did something that he thought would fix it but he didn't replace any parts or anything and that didn't fix the issue. So, another technician came out and he worked on it and he said he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and that was it. The problem wasn't showing while he was here and told me that if it happens again that I will call them and I ended up fixing it myself, replacing a part for the HVAC. I'd probably give them another try. They are one of the highest rated companies in Angie's List.
