 + -1 moreThe issue was not resolved. I did not appreciate being given suggestions of what we might try in order to fix this.
Description of Work: We had (and still have) a whistling sound when the fan is running on our furnace. The technician came out to fix it, but he was not able to correct it. Gave me some "ideas" of things we might try to fix the issue. Ultimately, the problem still exists. Since it was still under the builder warranty, we were not charged anything.

 + -1 moreThe problem was fixed within 30 minutes after the service technician arrived. I applaud the leadership and employees of this company as they truly take pride in their work and reputation.
Description of Work: I have a contract with Airtron. This contract has been the best investment. My furnace is only five months old. Yet, in the middle of October 2006, my heat pump began to malfunction in the middle of the night. The result; no heat. The temperature outside was in the 30's. When I called the customer service of Airtron, Steve, the manager of the company, answered my call and had someone at my house in less than an hour. I was extremely impressed with his commitment to his client base. Once the service technician arrived, he began a very thorough diagnostic check. My thermostat was calling for cold air from the heat pump instead of heat. He replaced the thermostat and even did further diagnostic tests on the furnace.

 + -1 moreThis service is very well worth it, we have had no issues with our heating and A/C. The technicians, we have had several, are prompt and always professional. They take care of the space they are working in and always clean up afterward. We especially like the fact that they always put on disposable booties whenever they come in the house.
Description of Work: Recently Airtron serviced our heating and air conditioning system for the fall. It is part of regular service contract with Airtron for spring and fall servicing to make sure we are in working order.

We have a 3 year service contract with them. It is nice to see the same technician show up on a regular basis over the years.

Description of Work: The amount reflects the approximate cost of a service contract which includes two tune-ups per year for my furnace, air conditioner, and humidifier. I paid nothing beyond that for this service call, which including cleaning and inspection of my furnace, humidifier, and air conditioner and replacement of the furnace filter. The repairman also installed a metal cap on the vent from my water heater which Airtron had installed when they installed my furnace in 2001. They had previously taped the opening and the tape had broken. This repair was done free of charge.

 + -1 moreThe man who answered the phone was very kind and understanding - but the group did not meet a previously arranged appointment. I think we paid just over 200 dollars for a 3 time a/c and heating service. The appointment was rescheduled for three weeks from the date of the original time.
Description of Work: Unfortunately the company failed to show up for a scheduled A/C tune up as part of their maintenance program. I suspect it was a simple oversight but this inconveninced my family.
