The quote was competitive pricewise, but we decided to use another firm. We had heard some negative comments about the brand they were using from neutral parties.

Very well. Repair man initially added refrigerant to system. Was able to isolate failed part quickly. Put a priority on the part order due to infant in home during very warm weather (that was nice!). Returned a week later to make repair. Was thorough in rechecking entire system for leaks and performance after repair.

We had worked with the Airtron salesman, Blake Lackey, before when we replaced our gas furnace. He was the one who talked us out of a larger furnace, saving us loads of money, so we were happy to work with him again. The installation was performed by a single person, and it took about 4 hours, which is exactly what they said it would take. The old unit was removed, the existing concrete slab was replaced by a platform and the new unit and coils were installed. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. We have no complaints at all.

We took bids from 4 different companies, all Angies List members, and decided to go with Air Tron. We based our decision on the ability of the company to answer and justify all of our questions, their responsiveness, price and time frame for installation. Air Tron came within $50 of the other low bid, which they met an they were able to install 2 days after we accepted their bid. The other company we liked was Control Tech, but in this situation, they were going to take a little longer to install. When we compared apples to apples (same equipment, warranty, service plans, etc., Air Tron and Control Tech were at least $1000 cheaper). The only thing that we are not satisfied with is the compressor was placed on cement blocks instead of the "feet" shown in the brochure and weve not gotten the service manager to call us back. Were concerned that the lawn mower will bump and move them, making it a less secure base.

Extremely professional, save one issue. After initial diagnosis, they recommended that I (not them) clean the inside of the fan unit, which cost me 80 for the trip. After I performed the cleaning, the issue was not resolved, so they came out a second time (50 for the second trip). The unit was frozen so they needed to come out a third time. The repair was done on the third trip. The issue that I have with this company was the $50.00 I was charged on the second trip after following their advice. Although insignificant in relation to the total cost, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope the loss of a customer was worth the $50.00 and the what would have been good rating.

The a/c outside was dirty filthy so they cleaned the a/c it (it was an extra pain). The man that was cleaning the a/c got soaking wet doing so. They do a good job every time they come out.

They are always on time and do excellent work. Very polite as well.

Blake also gave me a paper that said if a heat pump is substituted for the air conditioner on the gas furnace system. The house will qualify for IPL reduced rates of a 20% drop on all usage over 1000 kilowatts hours. I checked with IPL and they said that it wasn't true, they said that I would have a drop, but not 20%. I have called Blake 6 times and there has not been any response when I leave voice mails. I am not impressed with the responses and I talked to Rebecca who is the second in command. After talking to her, she touched base with Blake and Blake finally called me. When I talked to Allen, he said that someone had used my air return and he had to reorder it and that was about a month and a half ago. I left a message in the office, but got in touch with him on his cell phone. He said that he would call me when he was back in the office to set up an appointment, however I still don't know if they have this part.

The technician arrived on time and was very helpful. In addition to doing a tune-up of the heat/AC system (as a part of a maintenance contract), he looked at our fireplace, which was sporadically not working. He identified the problem and fixed it without an extra charge, despite the fact that he was not here for that type of maintenance (the cost listed is for the 1-year maintenance contract, not the fireplace repair). We are very pleased with this service.

The tech arrived promptly. He was clean cut well spoken and appeared to know what he was doing. Work was completed in a timely manor. As far as I can tell my house was not disturbed at all. He was respectful of my home.

Our 20 year old furnace failed early on a Saturday morning during our early Spring cold snap. We called Airtron and a repair technician, Tony, was at our house within a few hours. He readily identified the problem as due to a burnt and broken wire due to flame "blow-back." The heat exchanger was severely corroded as well. We decided to replace the furnace. A Comfort Consultant, Blake, came out Monday to take measurements. I told him of a concern about condensation dripping from the flue pipe in our attic, and he went up to the attic and found evidence of long term leakage. He suggested that for the price of replacing the furnace and redoing the vent pipe, we could put in a higher efficiency furnace that would vent directly outside though PVC pipe. We agreed. Tuesday, Mark came and replaced the furnace. He was polite and did a great job of keeping the mess to a minimum and cleaning up afterwards. All the Airtron people we meet with were very easy to work with. We will use Airtron again.

Called Airtron at 10AM on Saturday and received an appointment from 2-6pm. Tony arrived around 5pm. He was extremely professional and courteous. He performed diagnostics and explained what he found. The furnace is now running properly.

After 24 years of service, my existing heat pump finally gave out. With the help of Angie's List, I contacted two top ranked service providers for replacement estimates. The Airtron salesman (Blake) did not try. to "sell" a new system which was more than we needed for our size house. The honesty is sincerely appreciated. The day after we received the estimate for a new system, our back up furnace stopped working altogether. Airtron responded by sending us portable heaters to use until the following day, when they could installed the new system. With a Competitive price, and outstanding customer service! We certainly think the folks at Airtron are deserving of the good reputation as reported in Angie's List.

They were excellent.I would highly recommend them and the only reason I won't use them again is because I am moving.

Technician was to arrive at my home between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. At 2 p.m. the technician still hadn't arrived so I called Airtron's office to find out where he was. I was advised that before a technician is dispatached they call the homeowner to confirm they will be home. A message was left on my cell phone by Airtron, but they made no attempt to call my home where I waited all day for their technician. Airtron should pay me the $88 diagnostic fee for wasting my valuable time and not having the presence of mind to call MY HOME before they tried calling my cell phone.

Called and spoke with Donna to set appointmen. Rather than immediately try to book an appointment, she gave me a few tips to allow me an opportunity to fix the issue myself. Although the trouble needed further attention by an Airtron technician, I was happy to call back and book the appointment due to the professionalism and courtesy demonstrated earlier. Jerry was the technician that arrived (same day) to resolve the issue. He was also very professional and courteous. Ended up being something simple. Once again, they were fair and honest by telling me the issue was covered under warranty. Will definitely use them again and highly recommed you try them as well.

I called Airtron. I personally had never had them out and skipped last fall's checkup so I was praying that nothing major was wrong. I called on a Friday, and they were here first thing Monday morning. The serviceman wore covers on his shoes, was pleasant and knowledgeable. I had Googled my problem and felt pretty sure I knew what was wrong with my heat pump. He did a good overall check and my problem and the cost to repair was exactly what I had expected from my Google search. He fixed my problem and I will certainly use them again for any future needs.

They were very informative. The price was the best. They were very professional. When they came out to put it in, they cleaned up any mess they made.

They are very punctual. They installed our units and we have a 10 year contract with them.

It went great. Jeff put on "shoe guards" before he entered our home so that he wouldn't make a mess and was very respectful and pleasant. Jeff told me about Airtron's service agreement, which is a good deal, without being pushy about it. He pointed out that I could use a coupon for it. Our furnace is very old, and I wouldn't have been surprised to have been told it needed to be replaced. Jeff explained, again in a factual and non-pushy way, that the furnace was still working but replacing the thermostat would save us money because it causes the furnace to switch on and off too much. I asked if the furnace just needed to be replaced and he explained there are no cracks and its working, so it doesn't need replaced now. He was very trustworthy. We've had Airtron do a previous winter inspection for our furnace and had the same trustworthy, non-pushy, and respectful service. They tell you what you can do to make your furnace more efficient w/o replacing it, and aren't pushy about.

They did a great job. Repaired the igniter switch and cleaned our system.

The representative, Ryan, was very friendly and professional. He explained the test performed on my furnace and how to keep it running in the most efficient manner. Overall, I would recommend Airtron to anyone.

They let you ask for the same tech everytime which is nice. I have had the same one for 3 or 4 years.
