I have great faith in this company & if they had come in with slightly better pricing on the items I did decide to have installed, I would've hired them. I absolutely would call this company again.
Description of Work: This company gave me estimates on an annual service plan for my home's climate control system, a programmable thermostat, a whole house air purifier, & a whole house dehumidifier.

 + -1 moreI called 3 companies to get quotes, and Airtron seemed to have the most knowledge and were the most professional. I called them a week ago, and they offered me a 20% Angie's List discount, plus financing. They were able to come early due to a cancellation. I told him I wanted to cut back some shrubbery that was in the way of the pump, and the service man did it for me! They came at 10 a.m. and were done by 2 p.m. They swept where they put the furnace in. I have a beautiful new heat pump that I am very proud of, and my new furnace takes up less space! It was a very pleasant experience.
Description of Work: I just got a new heating pump and furnace, which included a digital monitor with a 10 year warranty.

 + -1 moreWe called and set up a date for them to come out, and they gave us a date and time and mornings. They came out on the date we asked for by 10 AM and they called us prior to coming out as well. When they got here they made sure that the house was left as good as when they got here. They put on their boots so that nothing got tracked in and put a covering on the floor, and hauled out all their mess.
Description of Work: Completely unhooked all the plumbing and electricity for our kitchen sink. Also installed a food disposal. They hooked everything back up and we had them install all new pipes and faces.

 + -1 moreWe are having them back for our usual spring service very shortly. The furnace replacement cost less than $3,000.00, but more than $1,000.00.
Description of Work: They came and inspected our old furnace as part of our yearly service package. They noticed rust beginning to appear on our heat exchanger. While it wasn't absolutely necessary to replace the furnace at that time, it was definitely evident that it was going to be needed. Our energy company was also offering a $250 rebate to upgrade our furnace. Airtron removed our old furnace and installed a new one.

 + -1 moreI just want to say how impressed I have been with the responsiveness and professionalism of Airtron service. My furnace suddenly went on the blink and they were at my house within 4 hours. When the system went down again 4 days later, they were at my house by 9am (I called at 8am). The service tech confirmed that it was a bad control board and valve solenoid (not just a dirty flame sensor). We ultimately decided to replace the unit because of the cost to repair an 18 year old system ($1,000). I appreciate Airtron getting out to our house promptly.
Description of Work: Furnace would not come on. Serviceman evaluated the problem as a dirty flame sensor, but later turned out to be a bad control board/valve solenoid.

 + -1 moreI was extremely disappointed with this company. The service techs were very nice and friendly. The problems existed with the main office and parts department. There was no communication as to when the part was going to arrive, although the service tech said he would put a rush order as our furnace was working very intermittently and it was 15 degrees outside. Neither the parts dept or office staff called to give us the status on the order. My husband slept on the basement floor next to the furnace trying to hit it to get it to come on. No one at the office seemed to know what was going on, nor did they ever communicate with us - we had to initiate every conversation. I have submitted a complaint on the company website, but no one has yet to contact me. Their website also states free service charge with repair, but I was told by the service tech to take it up with the main office. They did refund the service fee.
Description of Work: The 1st visit was the service call, which cost $64 (I had a $25 Angie's coupon). I called that night to confirm the order, and the office guy told me parts were gone and I'd have to call back tomorrow. I called the next day at 7am and the office lady then told me to call back after 8am when parts arrived, as she didn't see any order. Called back at 8am and was told the part was never ordered. My husband and I both took a day off work for this repair; once for the initial consult and second to resolve the missing part fiasco. We demanded they order the part or find it at a supplier and overnight it due to the cold weather. They offered to give us a space heater in the meantime - our house is two stories. The part magically showed up later that day and was installed around 4pm. We found the part of a website for $225, their charge including installation was $628. Hired them based on their list rating and will never use again or recommend.

They had another company come out to paint the ceilings, because they left black marks during the installation, but that company did a poor job.

He showed up on time (they also called about 30 minutes before he showed up to let me know he was on his way) and performed the service. We have a contract (essential service) with them to come out twice a year for general maintenance and service of our heating and AC unit. They call and remind you when to schedule an appointment which is really nice, but I usually have to wait a while (months) before an appointment is available to schedule. However, this is just for a maintenance service, not for an emergency situation.
