They were excellent. They were quick to response. They explained what needed to be done and how they would do it. They arrived at the time they said they would. They cleaned up their mess.

It took them two weeks to come. They had amazing reviews on Angie's List. Once they came they were pretty good. They did the work they said they would do and the quality seems good so far. I was expecting to get an estimate and never got one. They came out and looked at it but never knew what they were charging me until I received the bill.

No water coming from the well. They came out and diagnosed the problem but could not fix it that day due to it needed the large equipment to dig up the well. Offered to connect me to neighbors house using a garden house so I wouldn't be without water in the interim. Came on the day they said they would and dug up the well pipe (it was buried but they found it with minimal disturbance to my yard). Pulled the well pump, replaced it, flushed the well, treated the well, installed a riser pipe so well head is now above ground where it should be. They were patient and thorough in explaining all that they were doing and why as I wanted to understand it. Left a clean area when done with a 3 x 3 foot mound of dirt that needed to settle round the well head as the only evidence that they had been there and done extensive work. I was really impressed with that. They were so careful bringing their equipment around to the back of my house that there was no evidence of their passage.

Mr. Pritchard did not hesitate to offer to help remedy the problem that persisted after the initial cleaning. He came out promptly to show me how to chlorinate the system with chlorine tablets. (He explained that bleach, which is still used by many people to chlorinate wells, is extremely corrosive and often damages pumps.) After I made a couple of unsuccessful attempts to eliminate the bacteria, he came out to do it himself. The bacteria was stubborn! Finally, to ensure that the problem was not in the well itself, they pulled the pump to allow sampling directly from the well. It was indeed clean, proving the bacteria was just very difficult to get out of the interior plumbing. He chlorinated once more, even though the well was not the problem. Mr. Pritchard did all of this free of charge as a follow up to his company's original work. He was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, patient, and even cheerful throughout. I was extremely impressed with this company and highly recommend them to anyone needing assistance with wells or pumps.

They didn't return my call for two or three days later.

He didn't overcharge us. They did a very good job. I would recommend them and give them A's all down the board.

We called them to fix the well pump because the plumber said that we needed it. It turned out that we really didn't need it, so we just paid the service fee, but when they did come they were professional.

We had used them in the past and were happy with that work. They were equipped to do the work. They sent two guys and a new tank and hauled the old one away. My grandparents used this company. They have been in business this long because they good.

This is a small company that was very busy at the time due to problems with many wells after recent storms. They took quite a while to get to us, but conversations with Butch (the owner) left me feeling very confident about their ability to remedy our problem honestly and professionally. They were worth the wait. They were forthcoming about minimum and maximum costs. They came back promptly at no charge to replace an old valve that started making noise after the well cleaning. I highly recommend them.

Great company. It's not a first time they did work at my house. From initial phone call to report a problem, they contacted me within an hour, arrived same day in afternoon and by 1pm problem was fixed. They pumped water out of my crawl space and installed new sump pump. Very punctual, very professional and friendly. Great job guys!

They are very professional. I've used them about every time I need to install a new pump. They are fair on price. They come when they say they will and clean up after themselves.

It could not have been easier; no mess, no fuss.

Our house was built in 1959 and used to have a well. When we moved in several years ago, the house was on city water by then, but had never had the well closed or the above-ground ugly pipe removed. We had it previously hidden by flowers, but are now re-landscaping the front yard, so it was an eyesore. The people on the phone were very pleasant. We were told it would probably be a few weeks, because the drought had caused lots of people currently on wells to have problems. That was not a problem for us. My husband met with them at our house and was pleased with the price. We did not have to be here when they did the work. They were also able to tell us that our pump was not worth fixing for lawn watering. The work was good, and the price was better than other places I called.

We suddenly lost water pressure at noon. We called Sigman and by mid-afternoon Butch and Zack were here. Butch quickly determined that our pressure switch had failed, they had a replacement part on their truck, and in less than an hour they were on their way. We have dealt with this company for near 40 years and have always been completed satisfied.

When I first called Butch with my problem he walked me through a basic diagnostic to see it the problem was inside or out. The problem was outside with either the piping or the pump. He gave me a worst case estimate of $1,300 if he had to replace the pump and had trouble getting it out. He was busy with other projects and could not come out for a couple of weeks. He arrived with one helper and quickly determine the problem was a faulty pump. They replaced the pump and put in new flexible pipe in about 90 minutes. Butch also recommended I replace the pressure tank inside my home. I am pretty handy, so he explained how to do it and gave me a quick release coupling to use when I put in the new tank. He was very pleasant and explained all the issues to me in detail. No surprises. In fact, he recommended a 1/2 HP pump because it would actually be more efficient, albeit at a lover cost. I appreciated his honesty and explaining how to replace the inside tank.

They came promptly obtained all the necessary permits without me worrying about it.

We woke up with no water on Saturday morning. We left a message for Sigman Pump & Well Service and got a return call within the hour. He arrived shortly and before noon we had water. We do not have a price as he is returning to install a pressure tank next week

From the initial call for service to the repair the job was preformed very well.

I knew that when I joined Angie's List, I'd write about Sigman Pump and Well. Our house is old and we'd had a water pressure problem for some time. One large and reputable plumbing company told us that we would have to replace the pipes in the house for about $15,000. I called Butch at Sigman and he came out and replaced only the pipe leading from my well to the water softener (it was nearly completely blocked with mineral deposits) for only $700!!! I really appreciated their professionalism, knowledge, and courtesy, not to mention a HUGE savings! I will always use Sigman Pump and Well.
