The owner's name is Dave Sigman. They are outstanding. They're one of two companies that I use all the time. They are probably the best and the most reasonable that I've ever used. They do quality work and are very reasonably priced. Trustworthy.

Jeff, the owner of Sigman Pump & Well, is absolutely great. He arrives precisely on time, is friendly and pleasant, and really knows his stuff! He clearly explains the problem and the solution and lets us know our options. He is very upfront about the costs and he delivers quality work. We now have a spiffy new pressure tank, plus new fittings and a new switch, all of which were so old that they were practically disintegrating. The work area was left neat and clean. Sigman is our go-to company for everything connected to our sump pumps and well water. (The one time we hired someone else to flush our well was a big mistake that resulted in all kinds of problems and more costs.) I've learned -- always call Sigman!

We were very pleased with the service and the knowledge of Jeff and the crew at Sigman.

Our deep well pump was failing, and we called on Monday morning, and they were out that afternoon. After looking at the situation they determined we would probably need a new pump, and promptly scheduled the service date to come out. Showed up Wednesday morning, and replaced the casing that was bad, and pulled the pump, replaced, and did what was necessary to get it back in service.

Great service, saved a lot of money by prepping and digging to get ready for the new water line.  Every thing is working great!

as above.   Very professional, and willing to provide excellent service at a minimum of cost.  I can not express my gratitude at their skill, promptness and exemplary courteousness.   Very clean and careful.  Worked in crawlspace.   Very comfortable with information.  Quite personable and "easy to work with"!

I contacted sigman well service immediately afer the plumber indicated that it was not a broken pipe but a problem with the well pressure tank. Jeff called me back and i informed him what the plumber said that the pressure tank was either rusted out or the connection from the well was bad. Jeff stated that what the approximate cost would be and could come the next morning.  Jeff arrived on time, informed me that it was the pressure tank that needed to be replaced. He replaced the tank with a new fiberglass tank which should last longer than the old one.
The work was completed in about an hour and now have great water pressure as well hot water once again.
I would definitly use them again if I have problems with my well.

We came back from vacation to find our well pump had gone out. We started by calling a plumber, who correctly diagnosed the problem but suggested we call a well driller. We then called a  larger well drilling company who came out and tried to get the bad pump out for about 30 minutes before it got stuck. They immediately suggested we just dig a new well. Not satisfied with that answer (and $5,600 price tag) we called Sigmans. They came out that evening, and said that they shouldn't have a problem getting the pump up. They came back first thing the next day, and with patience had the old pump out in 2 hours. They replaced it, and then replaced the faulty pressure tank (which is what originally caused the pump to be overworked and quit). We were impressed with their knowledge and honesty about the situation, and will call them again if we ever have problems with our well.

Dave Pritchard, the current owner who is in the process of semi-retiring, came to our house within an hour of my call because, as the receptionist put it, "you don't have any water."  He went into the crawl space, came back, told me the tank and switch were shot, then said I think your filters are probably clogged also.  He then helped me remove the old filters and replace them with some that he had brought so we had service until the new tank could be installed--which, as it turned out, wasn't long!

The same day, in the afternoon, his nephew, Jeff Rash, who is buying the business from Dave, showed up and installed the new equipment.  Sum total, we were without water for no more than a couple of hours, and within 5 or 6 hours, had the best water service  we have even had since we bought this place in 2006.

Obviously, the tank was bad when we moved in, but we just thought, well, it's a slow well, that's the way it is.  I sure wish I had known about Sigman in 2006!  If there's anybody who reads this that thinks they have a slow well, I urge you to have Dave or Jeff take a look at your tank.

Also, they are genuinely nice people--the kind of people you instantly like and trust.  I wish they did other things--I would hire them in a heartbeat for just about anything!

They were great! The job was completed very quickly and smoothly in about an hour. I would have preferred to have received a call 24 hours prior to mobilization, as there was no scheduled start date after I received a proposal. But otherwise this was top-notch service.

Sigman Pump is excellent. They're experienced, professional and friendly. I had a tough job for them (replacing pipe in an old well) -- one that many well companies may have walked away from. However, they stuck with it until successful. They also did a very good job replacing the pressure tank on our main well. I am very pleased with their work and their prices are very fair. They will always be my first call for any future well problems I may have.

They were great.! Butch returned my call the same day, and was very straight forward and helpful with information about the job.  Quoted us the lowest price, and then came in lower than the quote.  They arrived the next morning when they said they would after calling first with their ETA.  Did the job quickly, left the area in our garage cleaner than when they started, answered all my husband's questions, and did I mention did the job for less than I was quoted on the phone? One of the best experiences we've had, and we've never had a bad experience with any providers we've found on Angie's List.  Thanks Sigman!

We thought our sump pump had stopped working, but Sigman correctly diagnosed our problem as a frozen blockage somewhere.  They told us the sump pump did not need to be replaced and gave us several options for fixing the problem, though the one they recommended was to wait until the ground thawed and all would be well again.  It took a few warm days to happen, but they were completely right and they made sure that our second sump pump reservoir would suffice during the thaw (and the rains) and our basement would not flood.
Although I offered to pay for their visit and their excellent advice, Sigman did not charge us, which I thought was absolutely extraordinary. I highly recommend Sigman for their professionalism, their expertise, and their great service.  I will be using them when it is time to replace our sump pumps and for any well services that we'll need in the future.

The problems with my well began in July 2013 when the well water began to have a strange odor.  I decided to have the well water tested. The lab returned the bacteria test results and reported that the well was contaminated with E-coli.  I called Sigman Well and Pump and they responded immediately.

The first thing Sigman had to do was to locate the well.  (I had purchased the house about a year previously, and the previous owners did not know the exact location of the well.  All they knew was that it was near a corner of the house?s foundation and beneath the gravel driveway.)  Sigman brought in a small backhoe and the operator (Jeff) scooped out the gravel, then piled it in a mound.  He next carefully dug out the dirt until he located the wellhead.  He placed the dirt in a mound separate from the gravel.  He located the wellhead.  They opened the well and pulled the interior pipe out of the well.  They replaced the pipe and raised the wellhead above ground level so that it would not be as likely to be contaminated from ground contact.  At this time, I had them replace the existing well pump, which was located in an exterior well house with a new pump which was submerged inside the well casing.  Jeff, the backhoe driver, replaced the dirt around the well then replace the gravel on top of the dirt so I didn?t have a mudhole in the driveway.  Sigman then chlorinated the well to kill the E-coli.  I was very, very pleased with their work.

I recommend Sigman without reservation.  They know what they are doing.  They communicated and explained what needed to be done so I understood and knew what to expect.  I most definitely will use them again.

We went from having no water pressure to having no water.  At first thought it was the pump because it was 20 years old, but that proved to not be the case.  So, a new 85 foot well was drilled, and the 65 foot well sealed.
This company was very professional, prompt, and did a great job.  I was suprised how quickly everything was finished after they started.
I would absolutely call them again if I experience more well problems.

,There were thunderstorm warnings out and the crew worked hard to finish before the rain came in. They did just that.
The men on the crew were hard working and professional.
The front yard was not torn up as I thought it might be. as that was where the well was located.
As the rain drops began to fall and the thunder to roll they were finished and had cleaned up any and all mess,
This is a business like one used to be able to call on. Someone who knew what they were doing, Someone who was a man of his word.
This is a company that is one in a million to deal with.
I recommend it to anyone with a well or pump problem. I will call them again if needed.

They came quickly to give the estimate for a friend's non-functioning well.  The charge was credited to the work done.
They couldn't come out immediately because they needed to finish another job.
My husband liked them so well, that he decided to wait until this company could come out to do the work.
When they came, they were prompt, professional and knowledgeable.  They tried to save the customer money, which was greatly appreciated.
We give them the highest rating and see why they have earned such stellar reviews and Super Ratings for years.

As it always seems to happen, we lost water with clothes in the washer and overnight guests on the way. Sigmas pump saved us once again with their quick and efficient service and were able to get the new pump under warranty. We have used their services several times in the past and they always take good care of us.
