Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

Around 1:00 pm on Tuesday, 11/3/2015 I saw I had a floor drain back up in my basement, so I went to Angie's List website to find a reputable firm to clear it and saw a deal: "$49 for Drain or Sewer Line Clearing" and ?$350.00 value?. Happily I took the deal and paid. I called Service Plus, Jennifer was professional and nice to talk to and she said they could get to it today. Toby showed up after 7:00 that evening, was very professional, cleared the blockage and left around 8:00.

The provider was professional and punctual. The technician did arrive on time and performed the electric furnace tune-up and inspection, as requested. However, the technician seemed far more experienced in selling a maintenance membership/plan and far less experienced in actually working with anything HVAC. I'm okay getting a sales pitch, but not when I have to pay for it, and not when I need a professional to inspect and fine-tune our HVAC unit - which is what we paid for in the first place.

Easy to schedule, showed up on time, performed the work.

2x year maintenance plan service. Service plus comes out in spring and fall. Very economic yearly rate for this service.

They replaced the air conditioner with a more efficient operating one than I had. I have used Service Plus before and they are very dependable and efficient. I will use them again.

Service provider showed up as promised. He took the time to walk through the issue as well as advise on other possible services (we ave an 11 yr old water heater). Laid out what our options were with clear description of the pricing alternatives. Service was performed in a timely and professional manner.

Thought it went well... But to this day I have been constantly trying to fix leaks under the sink.... I don't believe the plumbing under the sink was rebuilt correctly....

Plumbing inspection was great. Two seasoned plumbers, one new to the company getting his orientation, provided a very friendly, informative and no-pressure inspection of all plumbing fixtures indoors and out, including the water heater and sump pump. They gave us an estimated remaining life on our water heater and quotes for replacements (both tank and tankless) not as a sales pitch, but simply to inform and advise us. They found a crack nut on the water supply line to a toilet that had been slowly leaking without our knowledge and made that simple fix for a small charge. A week or so later, we had the fall HVAC tuneup, with the tech again arriving on time (with a heads-up call beforehand) and completing the tasks efficiently and without hassle or annoying sales pressure. When the time comes for replacement of our plumbing or HVAC equipment, we feel we'll be well-served by Service Plus.

Theycalled to remind us of the appointment and the day of the appointment called to let me know he was on his way. The technician was prompt and courteous, very nice young man. The technician was very thorough. Explained what he did. I purchased a pm package for the next year at very reasonable price.

Selected a $40 service call promo from an A rated Angie's List company to fix a broken toilet flush handle. The company responded quickly and had the problem corrected to my satisfaction about 3 hours later.

David did a great job, was very helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to have in our home. He first did a furnace inspection and noticed that our air was extremely dry. He recommended a whole house humidifier and installed it a few days later. I thought the price was very good and the installation only took a few hours. We're very pleased!

Have had no problems so I am satisfied with the work. Service tech was courteous & explained everything thoroughly.

The technician was prompt and courteous. He put on booties prior to entering residence. He also captivated my dog who appreciated the treat that the technician provided.

Toby is THE BEST. When an emergency job ran long and bumped us from the schedule, he called me personally to explain. Very friendly and was actually early to our appointment! Having Toby do our work felt like calling an old family friend. We signed up for the Service Plus Club as well. Everyone I've worked with through this company has been pleasant, helpful, and professional.

Everything went perfectly. He arrived, put on his footies that they always wear to protect their customers carpeting (even though mine is beyond help). He checked the thermostat & cleaned the furnace completely. He came out & told me that he had good news, that my furnace looked like a brand new furnace & that he found no problems at all. They are doing things electronically now & he had me sign the invoice on his tablet which he immediately emailed me so I would have a copy, thanked me for allowing him into my home & was on his way. I love this company, every service technician that has come to my home has been friendly and courteous. I always tell them that I am by myself so much that when someone comes to my home that I tend to talk their ear off & they always say that it is okay that they enjoy the conversation with me & not to worry about it. I hope to always use them in the future.

Great. This is our second year with them. They called in advance on their way, were on time. He explained to us something we never knew about our furnace - about how there are two stages. He worked hard to ensure everything worked properly.

Extremely good service, not just from the technician, but from the office staff, which typically gets overlooked. The whole experience was great working with Service Plus, and I actually put them in a tough situation. The coordination and communication was excellent, and the onsite plumber (Blake) was not just good, but fun to be with. These guys are the top dogs for a reason, they've earned it.

The technician was on time, friendly and very thorough. I would use them again.

Overall, this was a great experience. The Big Deal was a great value. I talked to a handful of plumbers before selecting this deal, and all of their quotes were 4 times more than what I paid for the Big Deal.
