Another excellent experience with Service Plus. All staff I have encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. The service professional was punctual and professional. I look forward to future work with this company.

This was done at a property I rent out. I wasn't present to be supervising the job at all. He could've "fixed" the disposal and charged me for it, but he had the issue resolved in 2 minutes. His honesty really made him stand out. I also had great interactions with the office staff. This experience falls right in line with my expectation of them, as they've given me excellent service in the past, as well.

They were very professional and prompt. Didn't try to "upsell" and took care of our problem efficiently. Will use them in the future if we have another need.

Dean was on time, very efficient and explained everything that he was doing in enough layman terms that I could understand.

My cooling system is 17 yrs old and needs to be replaced.

We noticed that our hardwood floor around the toilet looked wet, and it was spreading. In the basement (the floor below), it was damp below where the toilet was. The man came out, determined that it was simply that the wax ring needed to be replaced (and that when I replaced it many years ago, I did it incorrectly). He said, however, that the sub-flooring really needed to be replaced since it was wet and soft, but that he would not be the guy to do it. So I had the sub-floor replaced by a handy-man, then the same Service-Plus fellow came out the next day to re-install the ring and toilet (correctly). In the meantime, I had found Service Plus good-customer coupons. The service man said to call about using them, which I did and they refunded the entire service call charge for the second visit (a tad more than the coupon). Overall, I'm glad I had the Service Plus professional look at and fix my simple problem. It was very easy on me, and is one reason why we've had their annual service contract for some years now.

I have used this provider for several years for applicable service, and have been satisfied to the point of signing an annual maintenance contract for AC and heating checks. The following describe their service and their service team: thorough, competent, punctual, professional, explain any issues and provide available solutions without upselling, Team member David Miller performed my service check on April 28th and exemplified all of the above.

We called the provider on Sunday after we could not unclog our toilet. They answered right away and said they could come out on Monday since we have another bathroom and it was a non-emergency. We purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for half off the service call fee. The technician called 30 minutes prior to let us know he was coming and arrived on time. He was knowledgeable and told us the brand of toilet we have (Mansfield) is notorious for clogging and informed us of a better toilet manufacturer and provided pricing on installing a new toilet. This was really helpful as we are first time home owners and just moved in a week before. I would highly recommend Service Plus.

The Service Plus technicians arrived on time. They were very polite and professional. They explained what they were going to do in a way that was understandable to a lay person such as myself. They had an excellent work ethic and finished the job quickly and quietly. They also did a good job cleaning up afterwards. When they finished they explained the paperwork that needed to be done very well. Overall they did very nice and professional work and I would call them for more work and recommend to others.

We had water in the garage. Technician recognized that it was backup from the condensate drain, He took apart the laundry room tub and ran the drain machine through the line. That didn't correct the problem. He opened the clean out and back water valve area and observed the flow from the four bathrooms. The upstairs wasn't going through the clean out. He used a blow bag in condensate drain. and had us fill kitchen sink ,fill laundry tub, flush toilet several times and all is back to normal again. The technician worked very hard and tried a number of techniques to resolve the problem

Both technicians were prompt and professional. First tech recommended we change the filter in our furnace and made sure was working properly. Our plumbing inspection also went smoothly. We received a quote for a new water heater. Everyone at Service Plus is professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need!

The job went great. Service Plus was on site the same day as my initial call, which was huge as a rainstorm had hit and we were without our sump pump working. They were there within 2-3 hours, better than anyone else could do. They replaced the pump, did a full inspection of our plumbing, and did a great job. We would certainly use again!

Very professional! No clear answer on the sulfur smell but took it seriously and checked several things including calling manager to see if other ideas

Technician arrived on time and was courteous. Almost immediately after starting the inspection, the technician declared my heat exchanger cracked and stopped work. He showed me, via a inspection camera, the cracks and said he cannot continue. The cracks were there and needed to be fixed, I have no dispute with that. I requested a quote. Here is where my "D" (so tempted to give an "F") rating comes from. Instead of working with me to get the issue resolved, the sales tactics began. The technician knew I was in a pickle, as my house was due to close soon. So, I was quoted $3500 to replace furnace, and $2800 for a heat exchanger replacement. 8 hours labor was quoted to do the replacement, regardless if new furnace or just a heat exchanger, which was under warranty. That's right, parts were free. A quick says that $2800 for 8 hours work is right around $350 an hour. I wondered how many HVAC guys I could put on the job for $350 an hour, or even $700 an hour if the work was to be done in 4 hours, which is what it actually ended up taking. I got a quote for heat exchanger replacement from another provider the next day. He was in and out in about 4 hours, and charged less than $900. Still a pretty good hourly rate for that provider, but I was glad to pay it.

We were about to move into a house we bought, and we noticed a faint smell of gas near the cooktop when we were cleaning cabinets. Vectren came out and verified there was a leak, turned off the supply at the unit, and recommended we have a company come and fix it. We called Service Plus. The employee they sent (Ryan I think his name was) was very courteous, with very good people skills. He ran a bubble test and showed us the results. Good news was changing the hose/pipe was all we needed. he felt this was something our home inspector should have caught, but oh well, the inspectors can't catch everything. This is the 4th time I've had Service Plus perform a service (Furnace Installation, Whole House Humidifier Repair, Plumbing Inspection, and now the gas leak repair). Everytime I have been very pleased with the work performed and the employees performing the work. I will absolutely used them for my future needs and would highly recommend them.

The office staff quoted me a price of $79. They offered me a plan for $99 that provided additional service/benefits. They said the guy would explain it to me. Even though it was a Friday evening I was told there would be no additional charges for after hours work. I would be charged for any repairs in addition to the clean out. The guy arrived in a timely manner. He seemed friendly but kept looking at his tablet computer. Finally he showed me that the clean out would be a minimum of $179. He became argumentative. I told him what the office staff said and he said they don't have a clue. I told him I had not paid that high an amount before from his company and he argued with me about possible coupon usage. I told him I had gone through Angie's List and that was it. I decided I didn't want to deal with someone so argumentative. I will work with someone else to get this simple job done.

It was fine. He was friendly and efficient. The work turned out fine. They were fine. Their punctuality was fine. They were right on time.

I highly recommend Service Plus Heating and Cooling. I have had them maintain my A/C, Heating and Plumbing for several years now. They do an excellent job and all the technicians I have had have been very professional and punctual. On this particular maintenance call I was called before the technician arrived to let me know the technician was on his way. The technician arrived on-time. He performed a complete inspection and maintenance of my A/C and pointed out any discrepancies he found. My system is getting old so he provided me an estimate for a replacement A/C as well as a replacement furnace. The technician wore booties over his shoes while he was in our house as we do not wear shoes in our house. I liked that respect for our property. The technician took the time to explain in detail what he was inspecting so I could understand and so I would know what to look out for.

I bought a deal on Angie's List for $49 drain cleaning. The gentleman that came was very personable. However, he noticed the cleanout was too small to do a drain cleaning and went to the crawl space to place his camera down. He informed me there was a break in the line and quoted me over $2k to replace it. He never did any drain clearing and I was left very disappointed. I had another plumber come out for a second opinion and they replaced the clean out so it was standard size and cleared out the drains without any problems. No broken line to be found.

The Technician was prompt, polite and did quality work. The Service Plus phone staff were the most professional folks I have ever talked to regarding plumbing or ANY service. Service Plus also emails the Technician's bio ahead of the service call.

We purchased a deal to have the furnace inspected more as a final opinion after our warranty company denied our claim. As I explained the situation to the technician, I found out the deal didn't actually cover looking inside the furnace. However, he did inspect as far inside the furnace as he could, free of charge. We had several different HVAC companies come out so I knew it was going to be an expensive fix. However, they provided the lowest quote (even lower than the warranty company's HVAC contractor) to replace the entire unit. The only downside was that they forgot to install the new thermostat but once I called, they came right back out to install and show us how to use it.
