Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

They put one of those electronic, wifi thermostat on and 2 years to the day that they put it in, it went nuts and cost me about $400 in electric & gas bills. It was running the air conditioner and the heat at the same time. I had to shut it off at the breaker, because I couldn?t shut it off anywhere else. It was really bad! I called them to have a them come out and fix it and the guy never showed up. The Nest is what they put in, the thermostat that they put in, I thought it was really cool for a while. It was wifi enable and it kept updating itself through my router. It updated itself so much that it couldn?t see my router, because my router was fairly old and the new updates wouldn?t feed the router. They claim they gave the job order to a guy, but he never showed up. So, I ended up putting the old thermostat on that I was using before they came out to put the furnace it and it is still working fine. When they came out to do it, they sent 2 guys out. One guy was knowledgeable, he knew what he was doing and the other guy was a goffer, he didn?t know anything. I was here for 2 ? 14 hour days, they held me captive, because the one guy couldn?t do it all and the other guy was helpless or not helpful at all, so it took 2 days to put it in, so of course I was held hostage here, because I couldn?t leave them. They don?t send knowledgeable people out, which means it took too long to install it, and when I called for service the guy didn?t show up. That by itself is enough to not use them.

The guy never showed up. When I called them back to tell them their guy didn't show up, they said, "oh really!" They did not qoute a price. What stands out, is that they have crappy people working for them. As far as I am concerned I would not ever call or recommend them for anything. As far as I am concerned, they don?t exist.

They assessed that issue and handled it very quick. I would absolutely use them again.

They were fast. The furnace was very affordable. They had installed it in one day. They were completely professional.

It was good. They were very good. I've been using them for 18 months. They are very customer-focused so they are really good about letting you know what technician is coming out to your house and when they're going to arrive. They are very punctual. When they reach the house, they are very professional. I think they are comparable to everybody else. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Excellent. Our technician arrived ahead of schedule. He not only replaced our sump pump but also cleaned the gunk out of the water well that had backed up into our system. He then explained how we can minimize issues in the future. Very helpful, courteous and quick.

Fine except I thought the price was very high. The deal wasn't much of a deal. It only reduced the service call price.

It was fine. They actually ended up condemning the furnace. There was a crack and they were like "We can fix it but you might want to buy new furnace." We bought a new furnace. It was shortly after. I bought it and they came out within a week. I don't think that they were pushy. They were very nice about it. They gave me options. They showed up on time.

They came out and tested everything. John was on time, clean, any easy to work with.

Ryan arrived when expected for the estimate on the shut off valve. He explained that we had a very old valve and that a new type would work better. While he was here, we asked him to give an estimate on moving a shower head and handles because we were installing a new shower kit. His estimate was more than we expected to pay, but this was needing to be done ASAP because the shower was to be installed later in the week and our original plumber backed out short notice. Because of our time constraints, we elected to let Service Plus provide the new shower head/handle fixture as part of the estimate. Ryan arrived the next day in the expected time frame. He was professional and polite and did a great job. He installed the new shut off valve and showed me how it works. He moved the shower head over then installed a valve to make the 2-handle shower a 1-handle, then installed the rest of the fixture in the correct location. When finished he made sure I knew how to disassemble & reassemble the parts so the new wall could be installed. Very, very happy with the job he did.

Good company. Came out the same day I purchased big deal. Tech could not correct problem because the problem was too deep under the basement.

Everything about the search and repair went well. He minimized further damage to the ceiling, found the leak which was in a hard to reach spot- found the best way to fix it with connectors instead of pipe because the leak was too near a PVC pipe to use a torch. On time, personable and friendly, in and out in minimum time with minimum disturbance, at a reasonable price. This is the second leak this plumber has fixed in our house and I will definitely call them again.

I purchased this home in 2015 only to find out the line is faulty and sewage backs into my basement. I've had three different plumbing companies along with Service Plus come to the home and all three of the companies stated there was something wrong with how the line was installed and there are two huge bellies in the line. Despite video proof, Chris Cunningham of Service Plus states that there was nothing wrong with their installation. I have video proof that the line was installed AGAINST CODE, using multiple sized piping along with a section of the clay pipe that was supposed to be removed, still present. Chris bullies people out of Small Claims Court, where he has several claims against him and the company (mycase.gov), and refuses to take responsibility for his companies mistakes despite a so-called lifetime warranty. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Chris Cunningham and his company continue to claim that the faulty line is not their problem, despite video proof and three other plumbers confirming that the line was installed incorrectly and against code. There are also two large bellies in the line from again improper initial installation. Yet Service Plus offered to fix the problem for over $7000 ($2000 more than any other the other companies), despite a so-called lifetime warranty. I am aware of several other homeowners taking Chris to court for similar unethical issues (mycase.gov), yet he bullies these innocent home owners out of small claims and tries to get claims dropped in the superior court knowing full well these families cannot afford to continue to fight. I would BEWARE before using this company for anything.

He was very nice. When he was here he was very pleasant and we chatted a little bit. It was just the price and the ad that was misleading in the coupon.

Jose and Robert were excellent! Very professional and great communication. Also kudos to the ladies in the office for quick responses and good communication. It unfortunately to 3 visits before the A team (Jose and Robert) was sent to do the job. The other crews were late, didn't communicate, and openly disagreed with the method they are told to use to execute repairs (later redone correctly by the A team)

I had an amazing tech come out to my home to look at my A/C unit. The tech (Matt) came out and did a great job assessing the issue with my unit. Although he did not do any type of service for me he was still very helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the price for the service was too high for me and I could not have the service performed. Matt showed me the issue and gave tips on how to keep our house cool during the time of the outage. If I had to use their services I would request to have Matt perform the service. Great guy!

salesman quoted the job and said they had a mold remediation department. Plumbing manager said he scheduled the mold remediation expert. The expert brought Clorox wipes, gave them to another guy doing plumbing work and then left. After a complaint, the same "mold remediation specialist" returned with Shockwave but admitted he had no training in mold remediation, licenses, etc... The plumbing manager said he knew a guy who could do it, but couldn't get him to return a call so after a week of no returned calls they punted and gave my number to another moms remediation company and asked me to deal with them. What if I hadn't done the research on what says acceptable treatment and what wasn't? What if I hadn't asked what chemical was used?

The work was completed in approximately 6 hours. They were professional and kept us apprised of each stage of the process. They presented as genuinely invested in getting our service re-established as quickly and efficiently as possible. When we first discovered the issue the day before, the first plumber couldn't resolve the issue. He contacted another plumber with a camera. This plumber came and was at our home until he was abl to indentify the issue and set up the process to get it fixed. He was very personable and pleasant to deal with. The crew to excavate and repair the pipe were here first thing in the morning and were very diligent in getting the job done quickly and professionally. I have absolutely no issues and would happily use this company again
