Service tech was GREAT! Super friendly, punctual, and really helpful in explaining the problems and how they could be resolved.

Pat the technician was great. He was very personable and answered all of my questions. He noticed that the intake vent was very dirty and cleaned it for us. Unfortunately, Brad the sales rep that came out with Pat (I presume because of the age of our unit noted on the previous services) was not as professional or personable. He talked down to me as if I would be unable to understand the answers to my own questions. I called and spoke with Terry who transferred me to Ellen the sales manager to ensure that my concerns were heard. Ellen was very gracious and apologetic which I did appreciate. Unfortunately, upon more research their quotes were also considerably higher than most of the other providers that I had out.

Service Plus Heating, Cooling & Plumbing installed my furnace for me December of 2015. I had a new air conditioner too. It cost $3000. They were very professional. The technician gave me three different quotes. They were knowledgeable.

We have used Service Plus Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. The last time they were here was in the last six months in June of 2016. It went very well. I think it cost $300 a toilet and I had 3 toilets. They were very knowledgeable. They were very professional.

Bought the deal for a main line sewer cleaning. I verified it covered an actual cleaning vs just an opening of the drain (2" vs 4" cutting head). The tech arrived on time, performed the cleaning, left no mess. Very professional.

Needed to replace a garbage disposal. Price quoted included installation so could not readily do a comparison. Subsequently found disposal was only $120 but cost of unit and labor was $510 (less a coupon I had). Almost $400 for a two hour (max) installation appears excessive. Technician involved was great. No problems at all except price appears excessive.

These guys are great! They came to service my furnace and I found out it had to be replaced. They were really great working with my budget and understood I was moving and didn't want to put in an expensive furnace. They were extremely fast and nice. I will use them again!

This time when I ordered they said my price went up $17 each for a filter. I questioned and they confirmed this was correct. After checking online I ordered a pack of 6 delivered for the price of 2 at Service Plus. My first issue is why put this size of a filter on my furnace to begin with, second was to rip me off on the price. I have two H/C systems in my house and I will not be dealing with them when the time comes. The owner did call me after the fact with a resolution but my mind is already made up, I don't trust Service Plus. I had given them a perfect score on the original install but now I find they are like the others I have dealt with.

I have always liked them, I have used them ever since i got their name from Angie's list. I would definitely recommend them to everybody know!

Very well. We had the furnace maintenance done for the winter

I called the plumber to replace the malfunctioning rings on the inside of toilet. After speaking with the plumber, it was determined that the entire inside of the toilet needed to be replaced, which was agreed upon. Plumber did the repairs and left without checking to see if the repairs were done correctly. Once the toilet was flushed, it made this weird "hissing" noise for multiple minutes while the tank refilled with water. Tried to fix the hissing issue but couldn't. Called a second plumber to advise why this hissing issue was happening. Their findings were "faulty plumbing" and everything that the original plumber came out and did needed to be replaced. Chalked this one up to a lesson learned to never use this service provider ever again. Fast forward to January 2017, spoke with a representative of the company at the home show. Told them what happened in hopes of letting someone know my experience with their services. This turned out to be a complete disaster not to his own fault. The company will not stand up for their work! Please beware of this company and working with them.

They showed up on time, were polite, kept my house clean, and they WORKED. They did an efficient and thorough job, explained everything to me, and answered my questions. I very much appreciate that the Service Plus employees did NOT smell like cigarette smoke, they weren't spending the day having personal conversations on their phones either, they were working!!!

We were about 4 hours past the mid-point of the time estimate range. No bother for me--I work in a service profession and I understand that some jobs can take longer than best estimates or intentions. No foul there. The service tech was polite, friendly, respectful of the house, and we spent an hour or so walking through options. All of that was good. I have used SP for inspection and some work on my A/C unit a year ago. They are really good on the service side and I was pleased. Despite all of that, I cannot use them for the water heater work at the prices quoted. Installing a hot water heater is not brain surgery. The prices quoted were completely disproportionate to the work effort. SP quoted almost $4,400 to install a Rheem Marathon 75 gallon unit (MR75245). The street price on the Marathon unit is a little over $1,200 ($1,500 for the 85 gallon version at Home Depot). Add for taxes and shipping and one can calculate that SP is basically looking to charge me around $2,700-$3,000 to install a hot water heater. To put this into context, the original installer of my water heaters did a warranty replacement for me in 2013 (i.e., I had to pay the install labor) on a unit and the contractor charged me $550 for the swap ($350 for the swap and $200 to re-plumb some stuff for me) and they were there 2 hours. I have another Angie's List A-rated vendor offering to do the same job for me for more than $2,000 (!) less. I'm not soured on SP and I would use them for other stuff, but their prices need to be in line with the market. As an aside, this event reminds me about the joke of the plumber who is working in the basement of a lawyer's house (disclaimer--I am not a lawyer). The plumber gives the lawyer a bill after 2 hours work and the lawyer looks at the bill and gasps to the plumber "You make more than I do per hour." The plumber replies "I know--I used to be a lawyer."

It was timely. They came out right away, and took care of it right away.

We purchased two furnaces and two air conditioners from this company in 2012 and had them installed. We have now been without heat since Monday and they are refusing to work with us despite the warranty we have and told us to find another Bryant dealer to work with. Of course, there is more to the story but a company refusing to work with it's customer amidst freezing temperatures is distasteful to say the least.

Angie's List had a coupon for $79 for drain cleaning in the magazine. I first called Roto-Rooter and they came out and they wanted $319 to do what this company did for $79.

They showed up early and the tech diagnosed the issues within 30 mins. He gave me 3 different options for my furnace. The first was to fix the immediate issues. That consisted of changing out 3 parts. The price was $750. The other 2 options were more expensive with the last option being a complete new system priced at $2000. I told them I would discuss the options with my wife and he left. I looked online for the 3 parts I needed replaced and was able to buy them for a total of $64 which includes shipping. I looked on youtube on how to replace the parts and I was able to do the job myself in 15 minutes. I saved almost $700 by doing a little investigating and minimal elbow grease. I would not recommend this company to anyone as I felt the technician was trying to rip me off.

Very dishonest. My house had been vacant for a while but when the AC was turned on it was not blowing cold air so I called them. Instead of doing basic tuning, they just wanted to install a new AC for $7,000. I declined on the spot obviously. The owner called again giving me a new price. I called someone else to do basic tuning and the AC was back to work throwing cold air. Never calling them again.

We had a annual furnace service for 12/15.Once Matt the tech started to inspect the 2004 Trane furnace and found a leaking inducer assembly and receptacle.repl.Cost $1355.After cleaning the opening he found th plastic broken and crumbling.cost $2200.We had him call Brad the Sales Rep.who came over right away.After all options were discussed a new Rheem Modulating furnace was our best option.Being late Friday night and cold weather approaching he said a crew would install the furnace Saturday morning.Jose and Josh arrived at 8:30 and installed our furnace and it runs perfectly.We were surprised they showed up since the city had over 300 weather related accidents.Thank you Service Plus Job well done.

Technician very courteous and performed work that was needed. Took care to always cover shoes when coming in from the outside. We were very satisfied with the job that was done although we thought the price was a little high.

Terrible. Not only was the work not performed, but I will not work with this company again. I have since verified from other technicians that other work they have performed was sub par at best. The story: - 2 years ago we have a HVAC humidifier replaced. Service Plus ran the lines installed a new one and everything seemed great. - 8 months later the humidifier started leaking. Service Plus came out and 'fixed' it saying that humidifiers really needed yearly maintenance (it would have prevented the leak) and prevented the leak. They sold us a yearly inspection/maintenance package. - 6 months later, another leak, and the inspection/maintenance package covered the fix. The leak happened the same week the maintenance was scheduled. Odd but it worked out. -October, another leak. The technician looks at this and complains about the original installer, finds a broken water line to our water main (another piece installed by Service plus) and is unable to fix that day. Cannot find the paperwork on the original service. Finds some paperwork, but says we are 2 months out of warranty. Finds that the parts were covered, but their labor would not be. The cost for the fix, with the new unit under warranty was what we paid for the install originally. They go on to say that their inspection/maintenance package never covers humidifiers and that any work that was ever done on the humidifiers would have been outside of the scope of the project. Since leaving their service I have found another plumber who has come in and rectified many things that were said to be large replacement level issues. I used to be a blind supporter of service plus, but they seem to only be interested in upsetting new product as opposed to maintenance and cost saving work. I have worked with Service Plus for 3+ years since moving on a number of projects. They seemed good. My biggest frustration is not the cost, but the lack of integrity to their own work. For plumbing and HVAC, I have only used them. They are the ones who stated that the humidifier was never installed correctly. In their words, the 'wiring plumbing and system was done wrong'. They had looked at this leaking humidifier on multiple occasions for 2 years. Take some credit for your mistake. Not make the cost the same as an original install and suggest that it's a discount. I have since removed the humidifier and will not be adding it back. It's caused too much frustration and costs.

The price was fair. They replaced a frozen kitchen sink faucet. It took the plumber about three hours to get the faucet off, it was a real pain in the butt. But he was really nice and friendly. He was very polite, professional and clean.
