The serviceman arrived on time, explained what he was going to do, was polite, and shared in detail what he found during his inspection of our air conditioner .

I ended up not using the coupon, but they were fine to deal with.

Came out within a couple of hours of my call, knew right away what the issues were and gave me a quote that was almost half what someone else wanted. I was concerned this was going to be an expensive job and they might have to go through the finished basement ceiling (which they didn't). Everything was done in a timely manner. He cleaned up after himself (some really aren't too good at this). Everything works as expected. Will definitely use again.

Thorough check, and helped the flow issue

Each visit they spent plenty of time explaining things, were nice and professional. The only hitch was with the second visit. The HVAC ducting guy gave us a quote via email for work. I responded that we would like to have it done, and we never heard back from him. So... someone else will get our business. On the work they actually performed, they did a good job though!

I hope that everyone that reads this review will avoid the experience I had with Big Deals that offer x amount of services for x amount of $. The reason I selected yes for "Would you use this provider in the future" is the quality of their work, but only I get an estimate first. I want to start this review by stating that I should have done more homework as to how this company charges for their services. I found out too late that they charge a fixed amount for each service which includes parts and labor, not by the overall project. I assumed that $265.00 would cover what I wanted done, as I was supplying the 3 faucets required, and only needed labor, and some supplies. I purchased the Big Deal to have our main water shut off valve replaced, and 2 faucets added in our basement to shut off the outside faucets. I described what I wanted done in their on-line appointment system. I feel they should have notified me that they charge a fixed amount for each service which includes parts and labor after reading my notes. When the technician Mike Bedrick arrived at our house, that is when I learned that they charge a fixed amount for each service which includes parts and labor. He then stated he would provide an estimate for what I wanted done. (Not sure why he didn't have my notes from their on-line appointment system). The estimate was $211.00 to replace the main shut off valve, and $188.00 each to add the hose faucets, for a total of $587.00. After the "sticker shock", I told him to only do the main water valve replacement, and to provide the valve since it was included in his price. I want to express that the technician, Mike Bedrick was very professional and courteous. His work was excellent. His solder joints were clean, and he cleaned up good after finishing. I want add that they e-mail a picture of, and the name of the technician that will come to your house, which is really nice. The following is what I thought would be a fair price for what I wanted done using $95.00 per hour (I don't know what they their hourly rate is). Our basement is unfinished and access to the 3 faucet locations is very easy. Service Call/Trip Charge: $95.00 Labor to replace/add faucets: 1.5 hours = $142.50. The main valve only took less than a half an hour including shutting off the street valve. The other 2 faucets should have only taken 20 minutes due to the easy access. Parts and supplies (Service Plus providing faucets): $100.00 TOTAL: $337.50 Considering what they charge, I did get a bargain at $59.00.

Service tech was prompt and did a good job.

Arrived on time. Coupon for two hours of labor. Repair took about an hour and then charged for parts. When i went to use it the threads on the bib are messed up and it is a struggle to screw a hose onto it everytime.

First job was with the clogged drain. Seems simple enough, I know. This was for an investment property, and the SP team is very respectful to the idea that I/we are dealing with the needs of tenants. The drain was cleared in a very timely manner and meet every expectation I had for the situation. The second job was for a pressure release valve on a hot water heater, again at an investment property. My original call went in shortly after business hours, roughly 6:15 pm. The call was handled by an answering service. Two hours later, the answering serviced had not yet turned the file over to a technician. Unacceptable. Finally, the owner contacted me personally, and made certain it would be addressed immediately. It was. And, to my complete satisfaction. This was a hiccup I had never encountered before, but did not shake my confidence in this team. The work in both of these situations was quite simple... but the SP team continues to provide professional work done timely, fair in price and they continue to hold my complete confidence.

They did a great job. I was a "little" disappointed in the cost.

Furnace and AC tune ups went fine. Plumbing visit caused problems where there hadn't been any before and it seemed company response was lacking. See above for specifics. Overall eval. score above for heating and air service. Technicians were all pleasant and professional, clean, and on-time.

Water leaked from the HVAC unit above my condo down into my HVAC room, wall and flooring in the living room, and wall and carpet in my bedroom. I called Service Plus to inspect my HVAC system to make sure it was in no way related. Kurtis was able to come out on the same day and verify that my system is working. He completed a full inspection and gave me some information on how the unit above may be sending the water my way. He also provided me with the contact information for Doug Snell of 1800 Water Damage. I ended up using Doug's team for water remediation and was very pleased with the work. I would definitely use Service Plus again; and I may have to soon, as my HVAC system is 19 years old.

The crew that did my work was amazing. It started with the technician who came in to my home and identified the problem, a blown out and old AC system. I asked for some assistance on replacing the unit, exploring efficiency and pricing options. Knowing my furnace was equally dated, I asked the same types of questions about its replacement. I had an inadequate system for both heating and cooling my upstairs (in a very old house). I received the information on choices I was looking for, negotiated the proper units to meet my needs, received a fair quote, and had the work completed. The entire experience was friendly, but more importantly professional. This is a top-notch crew and they deliver what they say they will deliver. Reliable, dependable and responsible.

We had already paid for the service, so I thought this was a bit high for the price.

They came out and did a through job of checking for a leak in my A/C. They found the leak in the evaporator coil.

They showed up on time and did the work as stated within the deal. They did a great job with the work.

James was very professional. We have three toilets in our home. James was very quick and efficient, and very polite. Many times I have had had to clean up after work has been completed. James left the floors spotless, I didn't have to clean anything! His work was excellent. I would refer friends and family to him. We were very pleased with his work.

They were very prompt and very professional. The deal was for them to flush the water heater and then go around and check all of the plumbing in the house to make sure there were no leaks issues or concerns. Then there was $100 credit for any other service provided. They were not able to flush my water heater because of its age but I wasn't told that when I bought the deal. Not a huge issue but wish I knew that upfront. They did tell me when I scheduled the appointment that they may not be able to flush the water heater. After they walked around the house and found no major issues with my plumbing I had asked what it would cost to install a faucet in my bathroom. And the price seemed quite excessive so I opted to have another service provider perform the service. So for $49 it was a good service to have all the plumbing checked and he was very thorough when he did it and very professional. I would use them again if I ever had a major issue they seem to be a quality company.

Appointment went very well. I was nervous about looking for a company for installation but the positive reviews from Angie's list made it easy....The service was excellent and they took the time to educate me during the process. I enjoy their warranty and customer service and look forward to keeping my business with them in the future.

The technician arrived on time, was very friendly, and took care to wear covers over his shoes to protect the floors. He performed and inspection and cleaning of my heater, which was making a high pitched whine at the time. Everything went well and the tune-up solved my whining problem. Good Experience all around.

Went pretty well. Not much was found that needed to be fixed, definitely nothing major. Technician sent was knowledgable and professional. Adjusted linkages and connections to prevent malfunctions.
