Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

I was quoted $1,400 for this repair but he urged me that I would be better off to just buy a whole new ac unit that it wouldn't be worth it to fix my ac unit. He quoted me 2 different prices for a new ac unit one was for $4,000 and the other was for $8,000 neither prices were in my budget. I ended up getting more affordable prices from other companies and got the ac unit repaired for $350.

The technicians worked with my schedule, were communicative about the time they would show up, were professional, and the check didn't take a long time. In addition to checking the furnace, they checked the A/C unit too, and answered some questions I had about the system.

The most recent work was the Furnace Tune up on 10/4/17. The work was finished professionally.

It went very well. It took a day to do it. I did have some trouble with it. They put too much cooling fluid in it. They came out and fixed it at no charge an the unit is working fine.

The technician was very courteous and conscientious of our home. A standard wear part of our A/C unit needed replacement and the technician clearly displayed and explained the issue making the decision to replace the component an easy decision.

Dustin was very prompt and professional. He did a thorough check of our heating system and gave recommendations. Explained with details when I ask questions.

We have an annual maintenance plan with them. Dustin was nice and professional. He was outside the time window scheduled but they kept me very informed on his arrival time and that they were running behind.

Service was delayed due to other projects however the plumber (apprentice) arrived later the same day. There was some confusion over the part needed to repair (they said $200.00 - and I sourced from Lowes for $12.00). Ultimately Service Plus performed the repair with my part and I was happy with the work, communication, and timeliness.

Technician, Demyck, was terrific. Punctual, neat and very polite and informative, per my wife. They are very Expensive for a basic new toilet install. We purchased the toilet from Lowes and would have them do the install but they were tied up at the time and we needed the new toilet install completed. That part was great. But the bill seemed high: $250 vs $109 at Lowes is a big difference and Lowes does provide a 1 year labor warranty in addition to the warranty for the Champion Toilet we purchased there. Convenience and Necessity is why we chose Service Plus in addition to the fact we use them exclusively for our HVAC and Water Heater Maintenance Needs. They have never disappointed us in those areas and have been very reasonable. This toilet install, although on time and very professional did seem very over-priced. I still recommend them but maybe next time, I would choose Lowes Installation Services for the overall value.

I called Service Plus to schedule an appointment for an estimate for a new AC unit. I just happened to be working from home the day I call. I asked if per chance, someone would be available for me to speak with that day, since I was home. The very pleasant woman I was speaking with put me on hold for a minute, then told me that Dustin would be there at 3pm for an estimate. I was quite surprised when the appointment was able to be scheduled the same day. That is excellent customer service! Dustin was prompt for the appointment time. He looked over my current AC unit. We then sat and he went over everything with me. Very detailed explanation. He made sure that all my questions were answered. He gave me his phone number and told me that if there were any questions that I had to call him directly. I did get 3 estimates in total. All 3 estimate were similar in pricing and additional benefits. I ultimately when with the company I had used numerous times over previous years. But Service Plus was a very close second! I was so impressed with Service Plus's customer service, and the respectfulness of all Service Plus personnel I dealt with. I certainly would recommend this company.

Service Plus Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing was very responsive and provided same day service to unclog my toilet. A nice perk was the $50 coupon offered on their Angie's List page. I would definitely hire them again!

Gabe of Service Plus, performed an annual maintenance on my furnace and detected a crack in the system that could prove deadly if certain gases were to release into my home. I am planning on replacing my system before this year's heating season starts. Service Plus definitely puts safety first!

We had been told our heat pump and air handler were mismatched and therefore inefficient by another company. Someone was going to come out and talk to us about what options there were. BUT he never set up an appointment. Lucky for us. I finally found started looking on Angie's list for someone else to help us. Service Plus worked with Trane's and had excellent reviews so I called them. Matt came out and assessed everything. He told us we were not mismatched. And on this 90 degree day our unit was working great so at this time we didn't need anything else. I literally jumped up and down when he left! We finally got some good news!!! We completely trust Matt and have definitely found our new heating and cooling company! .

It was a good experience. Their price was good. Yes, I would use this provider again.

I am the first time home owner and signed up the annual membership for plumbing and HVAC. The receptionist was very friendly and explain why the annual membership is worthy. On the AC tune up day, Matt came on time and carefully looked up the AC and exterior unit. He was respectful and meticulous. Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of service and price.

They were prompt and performed diagnostic services. They gave me three options and I chose to replace the unit. They were professional and completed the work when they promised. We have a service contract with the company which provided discount on products and service and also puts us at the top of the list for service

I had purchased a special for Ac tune up. The technician called before he came, was polite and professional. Everything checked out except he found the blower motor pulling high amps at start up. This was still under warranty, and he left a price for replacing it. Before committing to replacement, I told him I wanted to check this out first with the company who installed furnace and AC.

All responses were prompt and courteous from dispatch, technician and individual responding to inquiry. Technician indicated blower motor shaft was out of balance and needed replaced. He estimated over the phone about $1000 to replace blower motor, start capacitor and blower wheel. He then when into pitch for a new furnace(furnace only)...several times. I asked for two quotes; repair and replace. These came back that afternoon at $1500 and $3500 respectively. I asked for a breakdown of parts and labor (and profit). I only got the labor quotes, which on the repair was roughly half the cost. I gave a generous 4 hrs to do the job, so roughly $180 per hour. I looked up the parts which cost me $350 online and so I elected to do it myself (no training and very first time...videos available all over the place online). Upon removing the blower motor assembly I found one of the screws attaching the motor to the outer housing loose. So I tightened and put back together...sure enough that was it. The motor was wobbling because the screw came loose and making the others loose as well. I pulled the assembly back out and replaced any way because I had already invested in it. Total time for for the replace was 1 hour and 10 minutes. I was looking for a trained tech to check those thing first. Out an $80 service call and pretty disappointed in the experience.

Successful fix, but it was slightly more expense than originally thought

They do all of my plumbing services. They also came out and replaced the cold and hot water lines in the basement. It was a major project. When they did the inspection, he said he worked on it as much as he could. He said he would have to come back for a service call. The service call was really expensive, and he was maybe out here 15 minutes. I understand they have minimums and that kind of thing, but I'm a really good customer, so I thought maybe because it was so easy to clean out that they would cut me some slack. I didn't know of he had the authority to do that. Everything else was good. He did cleaned up really well. He explains things well. He is always on time. They will be coming out again for an annual service tuneup.

They do all of my heating and cooling. I have a service agreement with them. I would give them an "A" in everything. I wouldn't call on anyone without an "A" rating.

They were very professional. I didn't know what to expect in terms of price but what they did do is basically was installed a toilet.

For the last 2 years I have signed up for their service contract which is $99 for a heating, cooling and plumbing check.
