Our water heater had reached the end of its life. The plumber came out the morning after I had called ordered a new water heater to be delivered that morning and had installed the new one before noon.

Joe was very helpful and sincere. Did work, cleaned up asked if cleaned up enough-everything was great. Would have them again.

THE LEAK WASN'T A PLUMBING ISSUE. THEY DIDN'T CHARGE US ANYTHING. I THOUGHT IT WAS AN HONEST THING, WHICH DOESN'T HAPPEN MUCH THESE DAYS.

EVERYTHING WAS FINE. POLITE, CLEAN, THOROUGH, FRIENDLY, RESPONSIVE. I WOULD RECOMMEND ROBY'S, EXPECT GOOD SERVICE. UNSURE OF THE COMPETITIVE PRICES, ALTHOUGH MY FATHER PAID $1000.

Dave is friendly and professional and did an excellent job. It was a rainy day when he did this, but he didn't leave any trace of dirt, water, or mud in any part of the house. We like the warranty that includes both parts and labor. We recommend him highly.

Roby's responded very quickly to our request and the repairman was polite and prompt.

Job 1: I called the office after they had closed. They called me promptly the following morning & arranged a time for them to come out & look at the issue. The person doing the repair called to tell me when he was leaving the office & when he would arrive on the day of the repair. He arrived at the scheduled time. I showed him the problem & he showed me what he needed to do to fix it, & showed me in his pricing book what it would cost. The work was done timely & to my satisfaction. They arrived on time, the work was completed & he was on his way .Very professional & organized business. I would recommend them to friends & family. Job 2: The plumber was on time, polite & explained exactly what he would be doing. I say the job is reasonably priced because plumbing in general is expensive. The new faucet installation seems pricey but after checking other Angie's List reports on three other large plumbing companies in the area, they all charge at least $200 to install a new faucet.

Worked with me on diagnosis, and were very professional and courteous. Appreciated their documentation of the problem from the previous installer and their encouragement for me to first call the other installer to see if the 20 month old pump was still under warranty before having me sign the estimate. They even waited while I had a call with the previous installer. I trust Roby's and have been very pleased with their service and performance.

CALLED AND DID WORK ALL IN THE SAME DAY. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, DID VERY WELL.

The work was performed well, and was explained to me as it was done. I thought the plumber worked quickly and was very professional. I have used Roby in the past for other matters and will call it again.

The plumber was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what he was doing. He had to turn off the water, and when work was completed, he restarted our water softener.

Showed up 40 minutes late after the 10am-1pm window. Outdoor faucet was leaking and they replaced a washer on the faucet. Were here for approximately 15 minutes and charged $130. Was not happy waiting all day for the guy to show up and the price seemed too expensive. Problem was fixed, so that is a plus.

I felt this representative was driving up the price of his service call for some reason. He was very difficult to reach that day and clearly lied to us. He has done work at the house before and I thought the price of prior jobs seemed high, but I am not a plumbing expert. I trust Angie's List and was shocked that this happened. Needless to say, I will never use Roby's again.

RESPONSIVE, WILLING TO TAKE TIME TO EXPLAIN WHY. PROTECTED CARPETS WITH DROP CLOTHS.

THE ROBY'S TECHNICIAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM TO ME BY DRAWING A PICTURE AS HE EXPLAINED. THE PROBLEM IS LOCATED IN LINE IN THE WELL WHICH COULD EXTEND UNDER MY HOME. HE RECOMMEND I CONTACT A WATER WELL SERVICE TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.

HE WAS GOOD AND HAD REASONABLE PRICING.

PLUMBER WAS ON TIME, POLITE. VERY INFORMATIVE - WOULD RECOMMEND ROBY'S.

BEWARE, THEY WILL TELL YOU WHAT THE RIDICULOUSLY HIGH COST OF SERVICE IS ONLY AFTER THEY'VE CHARGED YOU TO IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM! THE ONLY GOOD THING I CAN SAY ABOUT ROBY'S IS THEY CAME OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED. THE PLUMBER BASHED HOLES INTO MY CEILING WITH A HAMMER, RATHER THAN CUTTING A PIECE OUT WHICH COULD THEN EASILY BE REPLACED AND PATCHED. THE TEXTURE WILL NEVER MATCH AGAIN. UNLESS I HIRE A SPECIALIST. ONLY AFTER CHARGING ME $150 FOR THIS DIAGNOSTIC WORK DID HE TELL ME THE COST TO REPLACE THE SHOWER DRAIN WOULD BE $520. THE PRICE SEEMED AWFULLY HIGH, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW HOW MUCH WORK WOULD BE INVOLVED, AND THE MAN WAS SO RUDE AND DISMISSIVE HE WOULDN'T REALLY ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. IT TURNS OUT HE WAS HERE FOR LESS THAN THREE HOURS, CHARGING ABOUT $200 AN HOUR. DOCTORS MAKE LESS MONEY THAN THIS! THEY SENT ME A COMMENT CARD AFTERWARDS, AND I SENT THEM A COMPLAINT LETTER TO WHICH THEY NEVER RESPONDED. THEY'RE NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR REPEAT BUSINESS OR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, PLEASANT AND EXCEPTIONALLY NEAT. COMPLETED MOST OF THE WORK, BUT STILL TRYING TO LOCATE A PART FOR AN OLDER FAUCET TO AVOID HAVING TO BREAK INTO THE WALL. HE EXPLAINED THE OPTIONS FOR THIS REMAINING JOB, AND I APPRECIATE THAT THE COMPANY IS DOING RESEARCH IN ORDER TO AVOID TURNING THIS INTO A BIGGER PROJECT. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS COMPANY FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH THEIR PROFESSIONALISM.

THE COMPANY WAS RESPONSIVE TO MY NEED FOR SAME DAY SERVICE. CALLED ME AT WORK WITH 30 MINUTE NOTICE OF WHEN THEY WOULD ARRIVE. THE PLUMBER WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ATTENTIVE TO CLEAN UP THE MESS CREATED DURING JOB THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE.

CALLED ROBY'S ABOUT A WATER HEATER PROBLEM. THEY CAME THE NEXT DAY. SERVICE MAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL; EXPLAINING SOME THINGS THAT HAD NOT BEEN DONE PREVIOUSLY ON OLD WATER HEATER. HE CLEANED UP AND BLEW OUT FLOOR DRAIN WITH OUT ASKING. VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

I CALLED ROBY'S ON A MONDAY AND TWENTY MINUTES LATER THERE WAS A PLUMBER AT MY HOUSE. THE PLUMBER WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND QUICKLY TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM. THEY WERE ALSO CHEAPER THAN ANOTHER COMPANY I CONTACTED. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE.

I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS REALLY HIGH TO JUST SNAKE OUT THE PIPES. THEY WENT AHEAD AND CHARGED MY CARD WITHOUT CHECKING WITH ME, WHICH UPSET ME.

WE'VE BEEN CONSISTENTLY PLEASED WITH ROBY'S PLUMBING SERVICES. OUR SUMP PUMP HAS TO BE REPLACED EVERY 3 YEARS OR SO, AND WE'VE HAD SEVERAL DIFFERENT SERVICES. ROBY'S WERE RESPONSIVE AND CAME AT A TIME THAT WAS CONVENIENT FOR ME. THE PLUMBER EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM CLEARLY, WAS VERY EFFICIENT IN HIS WORK, AND LEFT THE WORK AREA CLEAN. HE WORE FOOTIES OVER HIS SHOES TO KEEP THE HOUSE CLEAN. ANOTHER GOOD EXPERIENCE.

THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WITH ROBY'S WAS OUTSTANDING. BEGINNING WITH THE CALL TO ''LARRY'' WHO PROVIDED A GREAT EXPLANATION OF THE PUMPS THEY HAVE AVAILABLE, HOW THEY WORK, ETC. NEXT, THE SERVICE TECH, DONOVAN, CAME OUT, ON TIME, DID A GREAT INSTALLATION JOB AND TOOK THE TIME AFTER TO EXPLAIN HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS, WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. I FEEL VERY CONFIDENT THAT MY BASEMENT IS SAFE AND I KNOW I HAVE A NEW PLUMBER FOR ALL OF MY PLUMBING NEEDS!
