Dave the plumber was on time, courteous, very knowledgeable and pleasant. The service was below other estimates in cost, and was able to be scheduled earlier that other plumbers. The proper water heater was found immediately, once the forced air requirement was seen. All extra pipe and duct work was included at no increase in cost. I highly recommend this company.

The Roby's plumber was on time, friendly, courteous and very helpful. He handled the problem quickly and efficiently. I have used Roby's in the past and will continue to use them because they are always this way. They are terrific!

Dave the plumber was punctual, friendly, and neat. The service was reasonably priced. The time elapsed from deciding to replace the water heater to having the job completely finished was much better than I expected.

I would use this company again. The repairman was very polite and kind and obviously knew what he was doing. We liked him.

John from Roby's came that afternoon I called them. He was very polite and gave me information on the heater and explained some things to me which I found very helpful. They were very neat and clean with the work and careful not to damage anything while taking the heater down to the basement. He also notice a back up battery that was down in the basement that had expired and brought that situation to my attention. Which I was grateful for. Roby's cost was lower than the other's that I called for estimates which caused me to wonder what the service would be like but I will have to say that I was very much pleased with the service that they gave me and I will call them again if I need any of the services that they provide.

Called to finally schedule a five year overdue flushing and service on my working water heater. The person I spoke to was very nice and advised me against it since, after leaving the water heater to build up sediment all these years, flushing it would probably cause real problems. You have to admire the honesty! I'll be coming back when my heater finally goes kaput. (Its 10 years old!)

They were able to fix it. The price was less than the estimate. They were very prompt. They cleaned up afterward. I was very pleased with their work again and they gave us the Angie's List discount.

They were outstanding. I called at 11:00. The service technician (Rick) was here at 1:30 & done at 2:30. The price was $100 cheaper than competitor, & the competitor was offering an $84 discount. He was polite and efficient. I can't ask for more!

When my wife called me later she said they told her they needed to replace the entire shower assembly and, to do so, would need to cut through our dry wall to get to the pipes! She told me the cost was $567.00! I was livid. I called Roby's from Florida and talked to Larry. He and I argued about the project and I asked him to look at the old pipe housing and call me the next day, which would be Wednesday. He said he would look at it, talk to his plumber and call me Wed, No call. None on Thursday. On Friday, I called him and he said "Yeah, I thought I would let you calm down and I knew you would call me back." I asked him if that was the way he treated all his customers who had concerns. (I told him it is easy when customers are okay with the results, but the challenge is when a customer has an issue - that is when a company's true colors shine.) This was the typical "American bad plumber experience!" They did something they did not need to do! Watch out!

I've used Roby's on previous occasions, always find them to be knowledgeable, polite, clean. They show up on time and they get the job done.

I was extremely happy that the water heater was replaced on the same day I arranged to get an estimate from Roby's. I got in touch with the dispatcher first thing in the morning and got a commitment that someone could come out in the afternoon. I requested a 30 minute to 1 hour advanced notice before we needed to return home to wait. When I did not get any notice by 1 PM, I called back and got a firm commitment that someone will call and come to the house by 2PM. ''Dave'' did show up on time. Dave's estimate for replacement was within my projected cost - app $550 retail for the water heater and app $200 for misc parts and labor, although the estimate/invoice did not break down the total cost. The new water heater was installed in less than 2 hours. The old heater was carried out without making a mess in the house. Dave did his best to clean up the rust stains on the bare basement floor. The stains were from tremendous amount of rust particles ejected from the old heater.

My old water heater burnt out 2 months after the warranty ended. It had started to leak, so I called Roby's and they came right out the same day. There were no problems.

This company exhibits a customer friendly attitude from the first phone call to the follow-up postcard. The service was prompt and the service technician was very professional. Since I know very little about plumbing, I was pleasantly surprised to have the service technician advise me that what I thought needed to be replaced (a lavatory faucet) could be easily repaired at a substantial savings. The estimates for the work and time was very reasonable. The work was completed within the time (1 1/2 days) and cost estimates.

Had the work done on a Sunday. Very pleased with work. Plumber very nice, knowledgeable and willing to answer questions.

When I called to see if someone could come out to unclog my drain, he was very nice. He told me that I would probably be better off trying another company. He could put me on for the end of the day, but he had just taken on 5 additional jobs that weren't on his schedule and he couldn't guarantee he would be able to get to me today. I really appreciated his honesty. He could have just added me to his list and called me at the end of the day to say he couldn't make it.

This was a Sunday so I expected that finding someone to do the work would be difficult. Donovan called back within 15 minutes of my call the the emergency number and indicated what the charge would be and that there may be nothing he could do. He said he would be out in 20-30 minutes, which he was. He showed me the reset switch, how to run the pump manually, and explained the system and what he thought might be wrong. He worked very hard to get they pump to run manually and empty the tank, then provided additional advice on how to prevent further problems until the pump could be repaired or replaced. He was very friendly and helpful and turned what could have been a very bad situation around. Most plumbers would not have even attempted to work on the system, particularly on Sunday afternoon. Highly recommended.

He gave us a quote for another problem that we are having. They told me what I would have to do to fix that situation. He was very thorough.

They quoted $796 and I had the $20 coupon from AL and that made it $776 they worked 5 hours and they took a fast lunch. They were supposed to be here at 8:30 but didn't arrive until 9:40 it was one man. He was late because they did not have the materials on hand they needed to do the job. I feel you should have what the customer needs when they need it not after. I spoke with the owner about why they don't have the material ahead of time and made no apologies about their practices. I was extremely disappointed. When I asked the plumber what the hourly rate was he said he said it was 115 an hour plus travel time. This does not add up to the add cost that I paid. They overcharged me, I feel.

It was very good. They put in one that was similar to the old one. It did not disturb the carpet area because of the similarities on size. He was able to cut out a few places, and put them in the back so it covers up the spots. I was happy I did not have to redo the carpet.

They were very professional and helpful, and they were courteous as well.

Better prices than others I called. They were able to come within 2 hours of the same day of my call. He kept a very clean work area and I would use them again.
