Roby's Plumbing

The main temperature control in our master shower was difficult to adjust. We have had the original plumber who installed all the plumbing when we built the house out twice to fix it without success. It's a rather complicated multi-jet in wall system by Kohler. Dave personally called Kohler to make sure he was ordering the correct parts. It did take almost 4 weeks for the parts to come in, but that's Kohler's problem, not Roby's. When Dave returned to install the new parts he told me that they were free; Kohler did not charge Roby's for them so they would not be charging me. The parts list at over $300. It would have been very easy to charge me for the parts and I would have been none the wiser. I am quite thankful for his honesty. Roby's has my business for life!

They were very nice in explaining to me what they were going to do in my basement to re-plumb the exterior water spigots. They did an excellent job. They also cleaned up thoroughly. The gentleman that did the work was pleasant and polite.

Donovan arrived on time. He checked several areas trying to determine the cause of the water leak. He gave me a written estimate of what he thought was the problem and needed to be done. He also suggested other issues he might find when he took the toilet apart that could cost more. He dismantled the toilet. The problem was a broken bolt which was included in his estimate for replacing the wax ring. He completed the repairs and cleaned up the area. He was very quick and efficient.

I wanted an adjustable shower head but they told me they didn't carry adjustable heads. That was the only thing they could give me, and I had to accept some kind of shower head. It was very expensive. You can't adjust it and when it sprays it is really harsh on your body. So now I shower in another room because I can't handle it.

I discovered a leak in the heater at 8 in the morning and by 2 o'clock they were out here installing a new one. They were very nice workers.

They did an excellent job, got everything done quickly and cleaned up well. I'd highly recommend them to others!

Went great. They came out the day after one faucet sprang a major leak. Next day installed 2 new faucets. We were pleased with the workmanship. We have been pleased with and used Roby's before. Will continue to call them for all of our plumbing needs.

He gave me an estimate first. The repairs were done quickly and with no problems. However I did think the cost was high for the short amount of time he spent doing the repair.

I thought he was courteous, clean and a very nice person.

We called Roby's the day after Thanksgiving and scheduled a time the following Monday since the situation was not an emergency. We explained the problem, were given an estimate and advised that a plumber would call after 2:00 on Monday. They called ahead and met me at the house promptly. The plumber quickly assessed the situation and gave the same quoted amount as previously provided, plus parts. Within an hour the drain was clear and a new trap had been installed. The plumber even used some type of citrus cleaner so that the bathroom smelled nice. The entire sink area and inside the vanity cabinet were spotless;very impressed. We will definitely call Roby's the next time we have a plumbing need.

We have a half-size water heater and maximizing volume was essential. Roby's plumbing had the largest size in stock. Installed the following day. The technician was on time and did the work quickly. We appreciated wearing booties to keep the house clean. Also making a suggestion on how to keep the house comfortable during the installation. We have an infant, and the heat had to be turned off. The technician also answered all of our post installation questions.

Kevin Hawkins arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. We were told what the work was going to cost at the time we scheduled the service call, and approximately how long the repair was going to take. The work was completed in a competent and professional manner. We were very happy with the hardware Kevin brought with him and installed. Not only did Kevin leave the work area clean and tidy, he also finished ahead of schedule! We have been using Roby's for years, and they have always done a great job for us. We will use Roby's for our future plumbing needs.

I was pleased with everything. The plumber was informative, friendly, gave helpful suggestions, explained all the things I didn't know.

The technician came out and provided an estimate. He explained what would be done. I had other plumbing companies come out and give similar estimates. Roby's was the most competitive. I set up a date for the work to be performed. Rick Buck performed the work. The rough-in was a challenge since it involved cutting drywall and fishing 40 feet of pipe through the bulkhead in my basement. Once the rough-in was built, Rick installed the water softener. It was about a four hour job.

They gave a good estimate on the phone and were able to schedule us in for the day we called. Donovan was very polite and easy to talk to and went about the work very quickly. We were shocked that the work that needed to be done was far less than what we anticipated. The total repair was about half what we expected to pay.

The price was not cheap, but everything they have done has been great. They initially came out in the middle of the night to fix the leaking sump pump. They are professional, responsive and of very high quality.

Kevin did an excellent job with the installation. The quality of his workmanship significantly exceeded that of the previous installation. He also identified a problem with the existing pipes. The old pipes were so clogged with sediment and crud, it was clear that the primary pump was fighting this clog, as it took more than half a minute to empty the pit. Now the same primary pump clears the pit in about 10 seconds or less. The price quoted was the price that I was asked to pay. I do wish that I would have known ahead of time that I could have requested 90 days same as cash, as it would have helped due to the high cost of this project. I will use Roby again, as I was impressed with the quality of the work.

Showed up on time, was very helpful. Showed us several places where the current system was inadequate (and also unsafe) and recommended replacing the heater. Price was very reasonable, service was professional, and we are very happy with the results.

They repaired the sink in less than 24 hours after the initial call. They gave me a $20 Angie's List discount. All my plumbing work will be done by Roby's in the future!

He came out and looked at it after he cut 3 big holes. He wasn't sure if he could fix it because it might have been installed wrong over 30 years ago. He said that he could put a joist over it or he could try to fix it with no guarantee. He told us not to fix the hole until we were sure that the problem has been fixed. It's been 4 months, and no leak, so we're having the ceiling repaired.

We were pleased with the work performed.

While their price was little on the high side, they performed the work well. They were very professional and sent follow-up mail. I recommend them for fast efficient work.
