 + -1 moresump pump replaced immediately. No back up system unless I paid 1700.00 just for the back up system. The main pump for the smallest size pump I thought was pricey. They didn't ask what size pump we wanted. But it did save us from an impending flood.

Description of Work: Made a appointment last week for Monday at 8:30. At 8:10 I get two calls within 3 minutes of each other that go to my voicemail as I was working from home. I promptly return the call at 8:18 to be told they sent the plumbler to another all since I didn't answer. They were supposed to be here for the appointment not call so they can cancel. There was no mention of them calling 15 min before they are supposed to be there when I set the appointment. So because some people fail to keep appointments they treat all potential customers as not responsible. Not a good practice if you ask me. Not respectful of my time. Btw. The voicemail just asked that I call them, there was no mention of they were canceling my appointment. It would have possibly been different if I had made the appointment many weeks ago. I made it last Friday.

It took maybe, I'm gonna say three hours maybe to replace that pump and there were two people who came to do the service. They were fine; they were great.

 + -1 moreExcellent on the service was good, equipment they put in was good but the price was. They did come out on a call for a late evening visit. They came in and said your sump is out and it's raining out and it's late at night so I got this in my truck so I'll bring it in and out it in and then you know what I mean. And if you ask in advance what it is going to cost, it depends on the job. They have to come out and look at it. And then they look at it and then they started and then you get the estimate after they're half way in and you're in a position where you can't change it.

 + -1 moreThe piping was securely joined to cement block walls and floor joists. Both dryer and stove pipe ends were securely fastened to wall and floor and each has a sturdy shutoff valve. Very quality work at a fair price.
Description of Work: Ran extended gas line to stove and dryer. All gas lines were run in the basement. Used black, flexible gas line.

Estimating the parts at $220 (valves @$10.00, and single faucet at $200) this means my labor charge was $375 or $204.54/hour. The method of pricing by the job from a book is putting it to customers. I expected to pay $80-$90/hour, not $204

I felt that they could have moved a bit faster, but they were having some problems getting diagnostic information from the manufacturer, and that certainly contributed to it. The cost for the diagnostic work was about $300; total bill was about $3000.

 + -1 moreI called them at 8:00am and they promised that someone would call back. I provided them all the information and my contact number. When I called again at 12:00 to check, I learned they would not be able to handle the call and the type of water heater I have, they would not be able to work on it. Supposedly, the person who made the appointment should have asked the brand of water heater and should not have scheduled the appointment. Needless to say, I wasted 4 hours and had to look for another plumber. If you want a timely service, look somewhere else.
Description of Work: Nothing. Very bad customer service. Poor sense of customer's time.
