Arrived on time, completed work in a timely manner and cleaned area when done.

They are excellent. The guy that came was excellent and knew what he was doing. They are a little expensive, however.

I called Roby's to get an estimate to install a water heater. When I told the man that I already had the heater sitting in my garage and that I just needed it installed, he asked me where I bought it. I told him Lowe's. He became irritated and said, "That's a Whirlpool. I don't install Whirlpools". Well - it wasn't a Whirlpool water heater, but I just thanked him and hung up.

It went great as always. Roby's is very quick and effiicent and are always able to fit me into their schedule. It is always great to see Rick's smiling face. I can always count on Roby's.

Did not use there service, after the call

Had a leak under my bathroom sink. Called to make an appointment and they were able to accomodate my schedule. Everything went great! I have used them before and will always use them for my plumbing needs.

Our sump alarm went off at 1am. After trying to unsuccessfully diagnose the problem I went to Angie's List to find an emergency plumber while my husband pumped water into our Sewar ejector pit from our overflowing sump pit. It had been pouring rain and we weren't sure if the sump pump was dead or just not keeping up. Dave responded within minutes to our call for service, diagnosed the issue over the phone and was at our house 30 minutes later with a new sump pump. He was courteous, professional, wore shoe covers, and although he was on hour 25 of his work day, even sat down with us after installing the new pump to review warranties, recommendations for a new backup sump pump and even looked at our Sewar ejector. Would definitely use him again (hopefully in better circumstances though!)

They explained what I would need if I wanted it repaired. I was appreciative that they didn't charge me anything for the visit. I would use them in the future and recommend them others.

Very courteous and knowledgeable. I appreciated their ability to come on short notice.

We experienced a problem with an overflowing toilet. The technician came in and basically told me we have a bad toilet and it needed to be replaced. I asked for other options. He said that he could try and auger it but he felt that the toilet was just "lousy". Cost of replacement $563 installed. Although I scheduled the replacement on his recommendation I got a second opinion and ended up with a $94 repair bill. The technician did not treat me with respect and tried to sell me something I did not need. He clearly wanted to be done with this call as soon as possible. I would not call this company again.

I had them come out and give an estimate on fixing a leaking faucet. While they were here we decided to just go ahead and have them replace it and be done with it. I thought I was going to be replacing the sink as well, but he advised against it. There was some damage done to fabricated wood and we could have done some more damage if we tried to take it out. They came out and did the job within a couple of hours which was really good. When I asked about an Angie's List discount, he said there was a better one at their website, so I went there and got a $50.00 discount. I have used them in the past and they have always been good to work with. I thought the cost was high, but I guess that is the going rate for plumbers.

They were excellent. They honored our Angie's List coupon. They was no problem scheduling an appointment and were very personable. He told me the price upfront. I would use them again.

The only issue I had was that the technician who was to show was running late due to having a dentist appointment. He never called. I had to call the company to find out if they were going to show. They were professional, friendly, and made sure to tackle each request. I have not had any plumbing issues since I hired Roby's.

They were a great company and I was so impressed with how quickly they arrived to my house on short notice.

They came earlier then what they said they would. His appearance was nice and he was very pleasant. Showed him what the problem was and he diagnosed it quickly. He explained everything in which he was going to perform and I am happy with the job so far.

Roby's is very good at diagnosing and repairing plumbing problems in older homes. They are professional and completely trustworthy

Project start to finish was great. Services were performed quickly and area was cleaned up.

Roby's master-plumber Dave Crocco diagnosed the reason for the early failure of the water heater and outlined what needed to be done. Dave is a true professional and we will always call and ask for him for any plumbing related needs.

Called Roby's concerning installation. Within 30 minutes one of their technicians (Rick) shows up at the door to give me an estimate/authorization to perform the work. He was in and out in around an hour. They also honored the $20 coupon with the job. Very professional. I'd call them anytime. My wife is going to be really happy to know it was done the same day I called. I also felt the price was fair. Nice work guys.

I am writing this letter as a long time member of Angie’s list, and as one who has both depended upon your excellent recommendations and never been disappointed by them. Sadly, there inevitably must always be a “first”, and it is about a recent incident that I feel compelled to draft this note. My elderly mother, upon finding a need for a plumber, asked me if “Roby’s Plumbing” was a reputable vendor. As they had an excellent rating with Angie’s list, I was happy to answer her in the affirmative. There followed an unfortunate incident about which I write. My mother is Chinese, and discovered, as she reviewed the bid left her, that her first name “Meiching” had been mis-spelled and formulated into, what is for a Chinese of her age, a derogatory appellation--”(Mei)c****”. Assuming and hoping that the young plumber had made an unintentional error, my daughter, on behalf of my mother, sought an appointment with the office manager, Larry, to both advise him of the derogatory connotation of the word and ask that all correspondence be corrected. What should have been a straightforward, and simply remedied action, sadly, escalated into a most insulting and damaging episode due to the manager's repeated efforts to trivialize what was to my mother, a World War II veteran, an insulting epithet, and to use this offensive word,“c****”, repeatedly to my daughter such that she had to demand that he stop. Another employee, Jonathon, then entered the room, and treated her an equally demeaning manner. Understandably outraged, she contacted the business owner, Mr Roby, who was quick to offer a written apology to my mother for the mistake. Because of Mr Roby’s quick action, we feel this matter is resolved, except for a warning which should be noted for others of a minority background, that they may find themselves in an equally distasteful situation which can have lasting unpleasant associations. If I had been forewarned, I most certainly would never have exposed my mother (nor subsequently my daughter) to such reprehensible behavior. I feel this incident needs to be included in the reviews of this business.

They guy came and explained my options. He worked with my on my options and the price. They came the next day after I called and installed a new toilet.

The technician was at my house on time and was very professional. He was here about a 1/2 hour. They have my business from here on!

Overall an excellent experience.
