After my initial call, he replied quickly & came out in a couple days. He diagnosed the problems - had to get the part needed. Returned with the part, installed it, & was done. He was professional, pleasant, knew what to do, prompt, didn't waste time, & didn't make a mess. I will use him again & recommend him to anyone.

After only 4 years the hot/cold setting on my single-handle shower control wouldn't work correctly. While the handle was set at a "warm" temperature the shower water would fluctuate up and down...too hot, then not hot enough. I called the Kohler customer service "800" number and was able to get a replacement control at no cost. Still, I would think Kohler materials should last longer. Roby's Plumbing seemed to have high ratings on Angie's List, so I hired them to come take the shower controls apart and replace the defective parts with those sent by Kohler. I set an appointment for a week later, in order to get an early morning starting time. But I got a call around 8:30 that day, saying there had been an emergency situation and the plumber would be running behind by a couple of hours. That was understandable, and I did appreciated the call to keep me informed. When the plumber arrived he quoted a price of $149 - which was about $15 more than the one other company (Hope Plumbing) that I had also checked with. But with the Angie's List coupon for $20 off, the final cost was a less. I do feel that was a little high for about an hour's worth of labor and zero cost for parts. But he did a nice, clean job and the shower now works just fine - thank goodness. I wouldn't hesitate to consider Roby's for future work. Incidentally, when checking their website I found that Roby's has an online coupon for the same $20 amount, and one for $50 for water heater or pluming fixture replacement.

I heard water runniing down inside the wall between my bathroom and diningroom and suspected that the 55 year old in wall drain line for the bathroom vanity had rusted through. I then scheduled a visit from a Robh plumber the first time I could be off form work. As I feared, he had to open up the wall andd cut out the old drain line and replace fittings. He also checked the drain speed after the repair, and after noting sluggishness, snaked the 3 inch stack and cleared a long term buildup. Drain now runs fine now and only a small section of drywall needs to be replaced. While he was there, he also checkedy water softener which I ahd noticed as seeming to be less effective.

It's all positive. I've used them in the past and have no complaints.

It was "Black Friday", I went out to my garage early in the afternoon, and noticed a puddle under my water heater. I called a number of plumbing companies to get a quote for a replacement, and some would not give me any kind of price quote without sending a plumber out to look at the situation first. I called Roby's, and they quoted me a reasonable price and said they could send someone out today. I continued with a couple more calls, and nobody else was lower. I called them back, and they sent someone out within an hour. Kevin was very friendly, he answered all my questions, and did not mind that I watched the whole replacement process. I would recommend Roby's and use them again if needed. As gravy on top, Roby's had a coupon for Angies List members for $20 off...Sweet!

i have used them twice-first time came & fixed leak on my upstairs bathtub-not an easy thing. They were so nice i called them again when i needed a gas line installed for a kitchen range. Prompt,nice & professional

Ever since I moved into my home in June 2011 I have wanted a utility sink in my garage. Having used Roby's in the past, I called for an estimate. The plumber came out on November 4th and gave me a free estimate that I found acceptable. We scheduled the installation for November 11th. Early on November 11th I get a call saying that the plumber was having vehicle problems and asked if I could reschedule. I said I really wasn't able to do that easily.I was told that the plumber would get the vehicle running but would be there a little later than planned. About 10 am Roby's called to say the plumber was on his way. Rick arrived about 10:45 am and went right to work. By 12:30 pm the work was complete and I had my untility sink. I'm very pleased.

The technician's skills were courteous, very professional, and very neat. Everything was excellent. I would definitely recommend to someone else!

We had a Whirlpool water heater that was starting to leak - it was 4 1/2 years old (with a 9 year warranty). Given the cost of replacing it with a no-charge tank and its reputation we decided to get quotes. Rick of Roby's came out and checked the current water heater and gave us a quote. He explained the various brands and their reputations and his recommendation. We reviewed the recommended Rheem brand on the web and called Roby's to setup the install. They worked with our schedule, Rick showed up at the scheduled time and did the install quickly, then explained it operation.

He did not charge for looking at any of the bathrooms which really impressed me. He was neatly dressed and looked very professional. He was very presentable and very informative. I had a very pleasant experience with him.

They showed up when they said they would. They addressed the problem. The price was reasonable.

They were very quick - able to come out on the day I called. The plumber arrived early, was very professional, cleaned up after himself.

All went well and it was done in less than 1.5 hours. I called to get a free estimate and the plumber came and was ready to do the job right away if I wanted it done.

We didn't know the sewage pipe was there but they were here very promptly, did the work and were gone before the cabinet installers arrived. I will use no other plumbing service but Roby's!

Everything went well. We've used Roby's for prior plumbing issues (not related to this) in the past and they've always been quick, kind and fair with their pricing.

We are a family of four who also do quite a bit of entertaining. We woke up one morning to absolutely NO hot water. It was not a surprise, we had been limping our old heater along for weeks. We had used Roby's before for a wide range of issues, from sinks to garbage disposals and were happy, so we called them in on this. We needed an oversized tank with special venting requirements and were afraid it would take a couple of days for them to round up the necessary hardware. They told us on the phone they would be by within the next hour. They were on time and had everything needed to make the replacement on the first trip here, with the actual water heater being delivered shortly after their plumber arrived. Two hours later we had hot water again and by noon the whole area was cleaned up and they were gone. They aren't the cheapest guys you can find, but they are reasonably priced and they will get the job done quickly and professionally, every time.

I called and they came out within a few hours. The work was all completed by 5pm that day. Very prompt and courteous. They explained the issues and the solution. And they cleaned up after the repairs.

Called Roby at 2:00, and they had someone at my house by 3:00. Quickly replaced the hose/connection with a different type of connection better suited to the water line. Also provided an estimate for potential future work (replacing kitchen sink & faucet).

Per the website, I requested a service call and stated since they are listed on Angies List, I did not need a quote just the service call to repair the water filtration unit on my Amana refrigerator. I sent their email information on Friday. By Tuesday morning, I had not receiveda phone call. My wife checked email later Tuesday pm. The message stated they were sorry for a late reply AND that they no longer do appliance repair as indicated. Seems to me a company with an "A" rating would respomd faster AND fix their advertising, website, and notify Angies List to prevent the loss of valuable time I wasted with no repairs.

We had a good experience with them. They came in and gave us a quote. The quote was exactly what was charged. They said it would take four hours to complete and it took exactly four hours to complete. There was one little issue with the water heater, and they came right back out the next day and fixed it.

I called after I noticed that my water was not heating up, which should not had been a problem since I was told I had a new water heater installed before moving in. Roby's came 2 hours after I called and completed the job in 20 minutes. I appreciated how he explained everything he was doing and how to prevent the problem in the future. I would definitely use them again!

He was very helpful and gave me very detailed info on how to proceed with our home projects
