Rob was professional as always. Honest and dependable.

The tech arrived the same day as the service call. He was neat and clean, uniformed. Courteous. I had called to get the magnetic seal replaced. He checked the seal out and said a new seal would be expensive and he didn't think it would solve the problem. He said the seal was pliable with no visible flaws. After checking the seal on the freezer portion of the same refrigerator, and checking the seals on a second identical refrigerator purchased at the same time (2004), he began trying to shift the lay of the door and discovered it is not lining up with the frame of the refrigerator, which leaves only a small section of the seal in contact with the frame. He wants to realign the door, so the entire seal will meet the frame.

This is the third time that I have used this contractor for plumbing repairs and the results have been consistently great. Easy scheduling, timely arrival, friendly staff, excellent workmanship. They have become my plumbing contractor of choice and I have recommended them to others.

On a Sunday, the shower in our master bathroom would not shut off, and water ran constantly. After a few hours of my husband trying to fix it, we realized we needed to call the professionals. As it was not a true plumbing emergency, I searched for a provider on Angies List, picked three options; Roby's being one of them, and placed a service call the next morning. My call was returned within 15 minutes and Roby's had someone out to my house within the hour to look at the shower. The problem was fixed in about 30 minutes and it was a good as new! The service professional was polite, efficient and explained everything to me and the price was very fair -- they even accepted my Angie's list coupon which saved me a little more money! I have recommended Roby's to a few friends who needed a plumber based on this experience and would definitely use them again.

This was the Anderson location of Roby's. The fellas that came out were extremely polite. Joe the fella that schedules the jobs seem rather dingy, and is very unprofessional. They were scheduled today to bring a camera to determine where the property sewer line runs into the city sewer line. Joe called while I was on the phone and said that he had left me a message. The phone hadn't rang all morning, and there was no messages on the answering machine, which I explained to him when I called back. He said they couldn't come out with a camera today, as his one guy had a jury summons, which I feel was an excuse as we've all had those, and know before hand that you don't call a customer after they are already late, and he also told me they couldn't get here until Thursday as they wee booked up. This is an emergent situation, and I had to wait four days for them to come out in the first place due to the Memorial Day weekend. Really?! Joe was argumentative with me and hung up on me twice this morning. Is this a way to run a business?????

I called Roby's emergency number, and the technician called back within a short period of time. He came out and completed the repair that evening. He was pleasant, neat, and a joy to work with.

No one responded to us after multiple calls. We were disappointed because we have used their services in the past.

Rob arrived in AM . Had to remove sealed pit cover. Took him all of 10 minutes to complete work. Advice to anyone having a radon mitigation system installed, DO NOT INSTALL THROUGH SUMP PIT! The SWAT folks who installed the system wanted to charge me 15O.oo to come out and just remove the sealed cover. Robys not only removed the cover but serviced the pumps,for 74.00. Thanks Robys.

Aaron was great. Explained everything and was very professional. Got things done in a timely manner.

Kevin showed up on time and did a great job. He was patient answering my questions. He was very efficient and had the job done in less than 2 hours. His co-worker Chuck that delivered the new water was also was very friendly and helpful. They also disposed of the old water heater and cleaned up everything. Highly recommended.

Roby's Plumbing provided excellent service each time we called them. We have twice required their services, and each plumber their dispatcher, Larry, sent, was professional and patiently answered all of my husband's many questions. The first time we called them, Aaron arrived and repaired the clog in our kitchen sink in short order, and provided some very helpful suggestions on preventative maintenance. Likewise, Rob, who arrived yesterday to repair our clogged bathtub and change out our water filters, was both helpful and informative. Both plumbers were professional, informative, and courteous, and we are impressed with the quality of service we received from Roby's Plumbing and Appliance Service.

He was on time and took to the job right away. He knew what he was doing and had 2 sump pump replacements on his truck (which shocked me).

My experience with Roby Plumbing went very well. I called them and they were out here within about an hour and a half and they solved the problem. That's pretty dawning when you start having water in your basement, you don't know where it's coming from, and you don't know how long it's going to go, but he came right out. I thought it was just the drain the basement, but it ended up being the drain going out to the main line. He had a snake with him, so he put it in there and ran it through about 5 times. Apparently I had gotten roots in the drain going from the house, and the water that was standing around the house didn't have anywhere to go. He said in these older houses the water drains into it and it was forcing water into the basement through the walls and the floor. So he cleaned that out and had everything set up at a very reasonable cost in just a couple of hours. It required the special skill and tools to do it so the price was very reasonable. Roby Plumbing was probably one of the best plumbers I have ever called before.

Everything went great. I called for an estimate and they showed up in about an hour or so. Told him what I needed and he gave me a price. I ask when they could install and he said now if it was convenient. Thirty minutes or so later it was finished. Looked and worked great. The only down side was the price. I think it was high.

I was pleased with the service. The tech, Rick, came when promised. He unclogged a bathtub drain that another company was unable to fix. We had been told that's just the way it is. This time, with patience and skill, Rick fixed the tub drain, reattached a loose tub fixture, unclogged the lav drain, and installed a new trap for the lav. He spruced up after himself as he completed each task. What I liked the most was that Rick was personable, good-natured, and took the time to do the job right. He told me what it might cost to fix some other plumbing problems I have. I will choose Roby's again when it comes time to take care of those issues. Aaron came by exactly when we were told he would show up and was extremely professional and informative. He discovered that a valve on our pipe needed to be replaced (the air admittance valve) but that it was not responsible for our clog. Rather than replace the valve and charge us, he told us we could get a replacement at a hardware store and easily install it ourselves. During his repair and after, Aaron answered all my questions about long-term solutions to address the problem (likely roots growing into our pipes!) and even checked with his office for us on a detail about the solution. He didn't push the expensive Big Fix solution on us (installing a new pipe, which involves much digging) and actually recommended an alternate green solution to try for now. Our sink is now working fine and will hopefully continue doing so until we are ready to deal with the underlying problem. Aaron provided explanations of all his work and answered all our questions. This was as easy as a plumbing emergency can be and that was entirely due to Aaron's competence, transparency and his pleasantness.

Rick diagnosed the problem very quickly and even gave a tip of how to fix this in the future if the problem arises again. Will definitely call them for future plumbing issues.

The plumber arrived on time, and assessed the problem. He went to his truck and brought in a pump to unplug the stool. At the completion of clearing the problem in the toilet, he examined the hardware in the water reservoir tank. He then replaced a valve in the water reservoir tank.

They guy just twisted it and suddenly it worked. I just know that the work was easy and they charged me a $100. The guy showed up on time.

Aaron came out, searched out the leak and fixed it. It was not easy to find and required several cuts in the drywall to find it. He also found another leak around a toilet that I didn't know about. He was pleasant to work with, knowledgeable and I would highly recommend his work.

It was in the middle one of our recent snow storms and our bath water began to come out brown and gritty in the tub and in the toilet. We didn't think we would be able to get a plumber's help for days because of the weather and all the broken pipes that go along with freezing weather. To our surprise Roby's said they could be there within the hour-but arrived in 20 minutes. He quickly assessed the problem and told us we needed a new water softener. He had it replaced within 3 hours. Needless to say, we were more than pleased. PS Don't forget to use a coupon when one is available-ours was worth $20.

The service was great. They were able to assess the situation quickly and provide a very fast and reliable solution to the leak that led to a successful repair. Their are professional, punctual and courteous and I would recommend their services to anyone.

He did excellent, no mess or fuss. It took less than an hour, yes I would use them again.

My hot water line to the kitchen had frozen and cracked, and was spraying water. I was very pleased they were able to get someone out same day - figured there would be lots of similar calls. The technician was great. Very thorough, friendly and efficient. Would definitely call on Robys next time.
